OK, I'm a little confused on Temp Control. On my sigelei, I am using a Ni coil in my Herakles and get a great vape at 400° and 35w. I also have an eVic VT with an eGo 1 topper. I have a Ti coil in the eGo 1 and in order to get a halfway decent vape I have to have it set to 500°. Is this typical to have to have the temp set 100° higher for Ti to give a good vape? But again if I have the eGo 1 set to Ni with a Ti coil I get a good vape at 400°. I'm confused.

As long as you have the right coil and mode set (TI or NI) on your EVIC or NI on your Sig whatever setting you end up with to be happy is normal. Sure you can have all kinds of swings like that.

Specifically though if you use and NI coil in Ti mode or vice versa things are more thrown off, but again you can usually manually adjust to satisfaction. Personally, I'd stick with the proper matched settings and crank it up until you are happy.

:)

Temp control is not very consistent between devices. Like Busardo says temperature guessing but no burn your cotton.

Sorry legs, but this is even a nicer post. Maybe I should take a hint from Ken and do some diet changes. Each time I donate blood seems my numbers keep going up. Doc's not worried about it, but it seems to be trending up.

...
And that is why I looked online for a good BP diet and followed it a bit. Doctors are just not concerned with older people getting higher BP... until it goes way too high and they can prescribe medications for it. So they can prescribe medications for the side-effects, so they can prescribe medications for the side effects of the medications for the first side effects.
Rather than allow my BP to keep going up, I'm trying to head it off at the pass so it won't get beyond my ability to work with/ :)

I was still mildly concerned that since I vape all day, every day that the nic might contribute by making my body think that the temporary increase in BP was normal, but apparently that was not the case.
Of course, if it keeps getting lower and lower, I will have the opposite problem, but I will continue to keep an eye on it for the next few weeks/months and make sure that it's OK.

Don't know why you 'need' 500° on the Evic to match 400° on the Sig w/ both mods set to NI and using a nickel coil.

It's not uncommon to set a TI coil 100° less than NI when using TI in Ni mode.

@Ken_A 140/95 Isn't too bad. When you take your BP make sure you are sitting down for 10min feet flat on the floor. That is borderline high and could be caused from a lot of things. I know mine actually goes up some when I am in the docs office. But hey when your BP is 120/40 an increase is sometimes good. Usually they won't prescribe anything till it gets above 160. I take BP meds but not because I have high BP. I wished mine was 140/95. You can stress about it and it will go up even more even watching the meter while it is being taken if it is being done by machine can make it go up. So don't stress.

IDK about those devices but I do know that the SXM is right on with nickel wire in nickel mode. I usually vape it at 390F but with Ti the Ti mode is off and have to use about 480F or use Ni mode and use the offset and set it for 260-280F I prefer the Ni mode no special reason because the vape is the same. The only ones I have heard of that come close with Ti are the ones that have a variable TCR like the DNA200 or Dicodes possibly the new SXML that is coming out not sure about that.

I may not have been clear. This is what mine does.

Hey Deb Slots told me about 1 and it has been the closest to real Mango I have ever tried it is Hangsen.I liked it so well I got a 100ml bottle of it.
Hey Legs, how's my neighbor ... been spending a lot of time over at the Samaritan Hosp. (hubby)
HS Juicey Peach is good too ... most of the "Peach" flavors I've tried from other company's taste "green" and/or bitter .. HS has a true ripe peach flavor.
Also, given a chance, try the Inawera Shisha Strawberry :hubba:
Sorry you have to deal with Bakers direct... The Chocolate Truffle SCG, and the Coffee Mocha SCG are about the only SCG flavors I have to have, so it's easier to pick them up from VG (when in stock)

I like the Hangsen Desert Ship Tobacco, That is all the Hangsen flavors I have tried.
Of all the Desert Ships out there, HS has the best.
You may like the Highway like AlterUrEgo says, and also try the Indian  yummy

If your liking the Desert Ship then you'll like Highway and No5, they are very similar in taste.
You have good taste :p
I have 8 of the HS tobaccos, and I love each of them ... sure can't say that about any other company.
Usually I like one or two from each company, but trying the HS tobaccos was like hitting the Jackpot
I don't care for any of the strong "in your face", ashy, grassy or green tobacco flavors like everyone else puts out.
Back to lurk'n ... (hi Deb :pervy: )

Good news... I think.
a couple of weeks ago, I took my BP and it was 140/95
I felt this was a bit high, so I changed my diet again... More fruits, yogurt, cut back on the jelly and ham... Just PB for sandwiches and turkey instead of ham... celery is apparently a must, but It's not a favorite so that I always have it on hand. It's not bad when dipped in the yogurt.

went for my walk tonight, got back, and checked my BP
122/84
pulse 101

15 min later, and with me vaping and playing angry birds as well...
111/70
pulse 93

during the day, when I'm working it's been between 120/82 and 127/87 pulse between 80 and 85 for the past week.
So I guess I won't be asking for any BP meds anytime soon.

And proof that vaping doesn't affect BP as much as people may think it does.
Ken, congrats on getting the BP down. Mine suddenly shot up to 180+ when I quit the nic completely. I had no clue it could do that over no nic at the time. There were other reasons too but when I added a bit of nic back into the mix several months later, the BP made a notable drop. Changed some other things and it's back into a more normal range.

Made a noob mistake recently. Took a new bottle of nic out of the freezer and admired how clear it was two years after putting it in there. Didn't notice it was 100mg/ml instead of the usual 60mg/ml. Got the shakes (OMG, Parkinson's!), racing heart and other nic OD symptoms. Went on for several hours before I thought to check the bottle. Idiot.

My blood work was through the roof and had some bad symptoms from it to drive it home. After a few minor diet changes and resuming the nic, most are below the threshold now. I've lost over 25 lbs. without being able to adequately exercise until I can have surgery on my leg again. It is amazing what minor adjustments can make on your well being. Congratulations on your accomplishments, I know what a difference it can make. You done good.
Driving all day tomorrow (well, hubby does most of the driving), towing my little van (so I have wheels), up to Lancaster PA (1 overnight, we won't make it all the way tomorrow), to set me up at the Doberman Pincer Nationals. Hubby will leave Sunday for Ohio to do the Golden Retriever National (over 1000 Goldens!!!). These are both usually good shows for us ($$$). I am the only leash vendor at the Dobes, and they like my stuff. We will meet up again on the following Sunday (Dobes takes 2 weekends the the week in between) to continue on to the next show in Howard County, MD.

Took Geordi to his first handling class tonight (preparation and training for the conformation ring to get his breed Championship). He (WE!!) need work, but I went with his breeder and got lots of good info and tips, along with things to work on. Have lots of friends at the Dobes, they will help me with the "exam", where the judge feels the dog and examines him. This includes making sure his parts are there..... OOOO, he needs work in that department.... I am in no rush to show him, he is going through the lanky, dorky stage, but ring experience is valuable. I have "finished" (earned Championships) on both my Tervs so far, so I know we will earn it, but want to do it better every time. It's been years since I was in the breed ring, and every dog is different. Just keep learning! Keeps me young (as the bones CCCCRRRREEEEAAAAKKK).

Gotta get a good nights sleep, long days ahead. See ya Sunday in the hangout!!! Along with the lanky, dorky boy and the beautiful girly (my avatar).
Well, seems I posted on the wrong porch, but to make it vaping related, dang, a mini vape meet would have been fun!
Who gives a crap which porch you posted it on. I'm tickled pink it was this one. :D Loving the updates on Geordi and his private parts. Plus, you know, it wouldn't be the Front Porch without some good OT stuff. Hope your trip is the best ever.
Hey Legs, how's my neighbor ... been spending a lot of time over at the Samaritan Hosp. (hubby)
Slots, good to see you. Hope the nightmare is over soon with the best results. Miss you and your wisdom here. Take care.

It's quite good. I've also seen a recipe with tobacco and peanut butter that sounds delightful as well....
What peanut butter do you use? The only one I tried is MBV, which a lot of people like but I didn't much care for it. It has a flavor/smell that reminds me of what I used to smell when cutting lots of stainless steel tubing many years ago. Oddly enough, the closest description I'd ever been able to come up with for that smell was "peanut butter", but it's not close enough to the real thing.

The Chocolate Truffle SCG, and the Coffee Mocha SCG are about the only SCG flavors I have to have, so it's easier to pick them up from VG (when in stock)
You mean VZ (Vaping Zone) rather than VG, right?

I only worried about it because when I normally take my BP, I will take it 4 times 5 min apart and take the average. It's a home BP, so you have to be careful not to mis-use it. :) I also take my BP starting 15 min after work - same time each day - same position, etc.

The only Peanut Butter I have (besides the Jif in my cupboard ;) ) is TFA. I do see a lot of recipes that call for TFA and CAP combined (I think @clnire mentioned that in her post)

Well then it is very possible that the TCR is off on yours too just like the SXM. YiHi failed to come out with a corrected update of the firmware to fix the problem instead they are coming out with a new mod. Mine in Ti mode seems to have to be set about 100 degrees higher and in Ni mode about 100 degrees lower then what you want, a temp around 400F but nickel wire is right on.
