It's not that way now, just the first few minutes to an hour, having coffee in the morning.
I wondered if anyone else had this issue and did it go away?

Thanks all!

Deb-NCPatches

Hang in there Deb!... it'll diminish with time, for some faster than others I'm sure... but I got over it, so anybody can.

Coffee-time in the mornings was my last-worst time of day to resist (and weekend BBQs/get-togethers, after a beer or 3, talking and BSin' w/ smokers). I also took the advice of almost everyone in this thread -- don't feel guilty if you do have a smoke!... just consider all the ones you haven't smoked.

For the first-thing in the morning cravings, before bed, I just made sure I had a full fresh PV ready to go. Get up, (p), grab PV, pour coffee, sip, vape like mad for awhile. :)

I'm to the point now that being around smokers doesn't bother (or tempt) me, but I do have those what I call "flash urges" or, as SemiRetired said, "fleeting thoughts", sometimes stronger than others... and for no apparent reason or trigger. Sometimes it's so strong that, out of the blue, I'll just look at my wife and say "Y'know, I could EAT a Marlboro right now!" Three to five hits off my fav PV makes it go away. Good Luck!

Poll taken! Up to almost 68%. :)

Have a question.....after over a month, I'm still having issues 1st thing in the AM. It's the only time I have a cig craving, when I first get up. Sometimes worse than others, like today. It has actually started making me mad. I'm guessing it's from having no nic thru the night, which I can understand, but when will that go away?
When I quit cold turkey years ago, for 6 solid months, all I thought about from the moment I got up until I went to sleep, was wanting a smoke. It's not that way now, just the first few minutes to an hour, having coffee in the morning.

I didn't have much of a problem at all. I just picked up my PV and vaped away, but of course I was at a higher nic then. Is it the cigarette you miss or the change in your routine? Maybe try changing something in the morning while you're vaping a higher nic and see if that helps? Like maybe have a glass of juice before your coffee or sit somewhere different, whatever, just so it's not the same routine you always had.

ncpatches if it does not pass in a week or 2 you might try a Whole Tobacco Alkaloid juice first thing in the morning. Those are supposed to have more of the "stuff" in them that tobacco has. They are not cheap however so I was thinking just a couple puffs first thing in the morning might stretch out a bottle a long way. I am sure someone here can point you to where to get them. :)

Thanks to you all!

It seems I'm doing the best thing, higher nic in the morning. The urge passes very quickly, in a matter of minutes usually. It was just this morning, before I even had the chance to vape, while on my way to making coffee. It hit like a lightening bolt and I didn't like that at all!
Before I even finished the 1st cup, while vaping the 16 mg, it was long gone, no problems. It just took me by surprise this morning. I appreciated all the advice.

Much love!
Deb

ps. I DIY because I can't afford the cost of premade juices and that WTA is expensive for my pocket.

I am thoroughly bummed :-( I called the post office today and after a hold of 40 (yes 40, lol) minutes they confirmed that my e-juice order was delivered to my doorstep on January 8th, and I confirmed that today is the 9th and no, I didn't get it. So it is officially lost. Either the postal worker delivered it to the wrong house (unlikely as my neighbors would have brought it over) or kids took it. It is odd as I have various parcels delivered several times a month and have never had anything taken off my porch. But alas, my first big bottle purchase of my favourite e-liquid is missing somewhere between here and Bumfuk Alaska. The loss of the cost is a pain, but not something that will break the bank. But totally bummed at the loss of my first big bottle of liquid. I will order another (and have to wait another week, lol) but perhaps this tiime I will have them deliver it to work as there will be someone at the front desk to receive it....

Vapor-Bummed and Munching Cashews in South Florida....

Just a follow up on this - I contacted the vendor (Vapor Chef) to let them know it got lost, just in case USPS returned it to them. Anyway, much to my surprise the vendor has sent another bottle at no cost with expedited shipping. I was really surprised as this was totally not the vendor's fault. Really impressed with that sort of service. Anyway, now I love their customer service as much as their e-juice, lol... they've got my business.

I looked at some of the mods today... still not sure which to get. One vaper told me I should just buy another vision twist to keep on-hand, but I like the idea of being able to get a charger "tray" and charge all the batteries at once.

My 2 cents. It sort of depends on your budget.

My first variable mod was the Vamo V2. Mine has held up well BUT I am super careful of the known delicate 510 connection threads. If I was searching for another device like it in roughly the same price range I would grab the Sigelli ZMax. Just a far better built device.

If I were shopping for myself right now and wanted a variable regulated device the only thing on my list would be a Provari. It is top notch construction, safety, warranty and service. This however is going to set you back a good $250 or so for a full setup (with extension tube batteries and charger as well as extended warranty). I have simply reached the point in my vaping where I am done with cheap relatively disposable devices and am willing to pay the bucks for something I will have for years.

I have 1 ProVari mini that I like a lot, but I won it so it didn't cost me. It was my first "big" PV and wasn't sure I'd like it, but it took no time at all to become the one I carry all the time. Then Mike got me a Segelei ZMax Mini and now I have 2 of them. Much cheaper and seems to be very well made. I now have 2 of them. After awhile I bought JWraps for them and now they're all dressed up and beautiful!

So far I'm pretty happy with my SVD, KMax, and assorted Spinners, VV3 and MVP. I'm finding I really do like VW, since I have a lot of toppers with different flavors - and different resistance values.

While I keep looking at the Provari, I keep waiting for them to come out with a model that has a VW option, and ego threads...

My vote is stick with what you're happy with until something comes along that really sparks your interest. That's what I do, BUT I have a husband who likes to try the new devices that come out and experiment with them so I get to test drive them first. I didn't know I wanted a Sigelei until I came home one day and he had one sitting on my computer. HE SAID it was a present to me, but I think he just wanted to get one for himself. Boy was he surprised that I kept it!! HA HA! No problem, he likes to shop so the next good deal he ran into on a co-op convinced him he HAD to have more so now I have 2. He figures if he buys me one I won't be mad at him for getting himself one. This is a pretty good deal right? I'm very happy with these, but I was happy before I got them so it's icing on the cake. I'm most happy about having devices that I can just pop in a battery and keep going without having to plug in my device.

I've just come up with a plan B, lol... my problem is being tied to one place to charge. So a portable USB charger that fits in my purse is a viable option. My question (and I can't figure out volts and watts, etc.) is: Is it safe to charge the Vision Spinners on a portable USB battery charger? Does it matter what volt watt output they have?
