I almost had a melt-down last night...lol. I'm laughing now, but it wasn't funny at the time. I just received 2 eGo 900mAh bats on Thursday. I had been using 650mAh that were 2 yrs old (not in use most of that time). Right out of the box, 1 of the new bats kept sticking in the "on" position. The vendor is sending a replacement. I had 1 900 and 1 650 with me at work. The 650 button only works when it wants to. SO...the 900 died and the 650 wouldn't work!!!! Thankfully, after an hour of near panic, I banged the 650 on the tabletop...it worked!!! Emergency averted...whew!

They passed that same reg. here in PA awhile back. It's the paper that the tobacco is wrapped in.
Keep on with the vaping and you'll get there. I had smoked for 50 years and I've made it. That's not to say that there's not been times when I thought about an analog. Last week I got up from this computer and walked over to the table by the door where I used to keep my pack of cigs. ( I live in my daughter's non-smoking household and had to go outside to smoke) I looked down at the EMPTY table and started laughing at myself. Sat back down and vaped my face off.
Must have been the phase of the moon last night. I had an Apollo TGo battery stick on in my shirt pocket. On top of that, the tank I was using was attached with an adapter and I had tightened it with a hemostat to make it work. Not real tight, but too tight for fingers to remove it. Plus, it was HOT. Boy, did it stink.
Apollo has a 30 day money back policy and a one yr. warranty. I've heard good things about their service. We'll see.

Still pretty new to this, but I still have at least one time everyday that I look for my ashtray, or my cigs, or a lighter or something. I shouldn't be so suprised that it happens though. Do something 20-30 times a day for 35 yrs (much less when I first started when I was 12), and I reckin it takes awhile to quit looking for it.
I'm 48 going on 3. First childhood wasn't so great, so I decided to have another one, on my terms this time! lol I'm just a big goofball, but if I can make someone laugh I did a good thing. : ) Started vaping 9 days ago on a kgo with boge 510 cartos. All was great til day 3 or 4. Suddenly every carto (had 7 loaded with various juices) tasted awful! I thought at first maybe I'd burnt them up, but pulled the polyfil in the worst one apart, and it wasn't. I also had a mega dual coil that came with a whistle tip and found that there is something in whatever that tip is made of that doesn't agree with me at all. Made my lips very tender and a bit swollen, so can't use that. Also, I think the trial size juices I ordered weren't high enough nic, so they weren't satisfying me. I did take 3-4 puffs from a cig that day then put it out. It did taste nasty, but the problem was mostly that it wasn't satisfying me either. Just over a year ago I had to stop smoking marlboro and and go to these things called Racers since they're 15.50 a carton. Look like little cigars, but are the same size as cigs, 20 per pack, 10 pks per carton just like cigs. They weren't satisfying, but it was better than nothing and kept me going. But I found I was smoking more of them since they weren't satisfying me. Now I have some clearos on order, and some more juice on order since I'm nearly out of that, and can't hardly get a good hit on what I do have. Hoping all that will make it better, cuz the last several days have been horrible! It's taking everything in me not to go out and get just 1 pack of marlboros. Didn't really mean to get into all this and thanks for letting me vent about it. Juice I ordered Thurs hasn't shipped, so it's going to be well into next week before there is any improvement for me. Just hoping I can last. I know it's not the end of the world if I don't make it til the orders come in, but really don't want to go backwards and have to start over. Just hoping this new stuff will do the trick when it finally gets here! Closest B&M to me is nearly an hour away, and I have no way to get there, so that's not an option. I really am usually very upbeat, but I guess this is really really starting to get to me, and I needed to get it out to some folks who would understand. I'll survive of course, just not very happy right now. lol

When I put the smokes down near 7 weeks ago, I quickly realized that running out of anything would be real bad. I've stocked up on everything that could run out or break as I never want that panic attack from being "out" or "broke". Yeah, I spent more $$$ than I should have but I did commit totally to not going back to smokes. Today's delivery was 4 spare batteries and a 4 bay charger for the VTube (Lavatube clone)...
I call those 'happy carto farts'! That means that your coil(s) is/are properly 'fed' and givin' its best to ya...

I had a panic at the end of my first month as I miscalculated how much juice I would need to make it through until I had money for more. Got down to the last little bottle, started to panic and then of course that set me to vaping more Boy! did I nurse that bottle! But I did make it. Which phoenix did you get last night? I ordered the new top coil just to try, but they'll have to go some to be better than the bottom coil.
Where did you order the juice from? Hopefully, it gets there sooner than anticipated.

Well first welcome aboard the ecig train...
Sounds like the taste thing could be your taste buds adjusting - some experience disappearing taste buds others everything taste foul... You gotta find a taste bud kicker to re-engage it - for some it is a strong flavor vape (menthol, peppermint, brandy) - for others it is food (fruits, pies, chili)... And do not forget the plenty of water thing... It really helps with taste buds also - keeps them washed down... It takes time to get your taste buds back - I do not know what mine are supposed to be like so I am not sure I have them back or not (LOL)...

You're so very welcome. I may have trouble making sense of all the ohm and volt stuff, but I'm pretty good at remembering where I saw something. Then again...................maybe that one stuck because I'm old enough to remember when go-go dancers first came on the scene

Me too yiddle. Maybe that is why I'm liking this one so much. Nah....I'm liking it 'cause it takes a big battery so lasts a loooong time and vapes like a dream.
I just took a look at it. Seems nice and not overly pricey. I wonder if that connection is why I never see it recommended to noobs.
That and the fact that there are so many others that even I think are a better starting point for someone just starting out.
I have caught myself trying to light my PV. Problem solved, I quit carrying a lighter.
On another subject I will be up the creek if my equipment fails, I can no longer stand the smell of analogs, at this time I cannot go back to them. I had a worse reaction to someone using a small cigar the other day, I almost lost my lunch.
