I am in my late 30s. Won't be more specific lol. My mom just turned 60 in May. She has lots of health problems and I am trying to get her to try e cigs. Slowly. I told her to try disposables first, like I did. I smoked from the time I was 14 until last month. Not sure when my mother started but I am guessing not long after 16...her mom was strict with a belt..so If I were her I wouldn't have tried smoking any earlier lmao. My mom has tried several times, I give her great credit. I never tried to quit until I bought that first disposable e cig. I had to think of it for myself, even if others had mentioned it to me. That never does it....you have to find a time you are ready and a method you are interested in helping you. I am all for technology, so perfect fit.

My mom though, I have to walk her through her email sometimes. Gonna be a hard sell. She has tried gum and patches..no dice. her health problems won't allow medicatin like chantix..that stuff scares me anyway. Suicide rate with it. it's like, "Thanks I've quit smoking, but now I am going to kill myself."

I will bring her a mini kit and see how it goes. She is very happy for me though, I hear it in her voice. She calls and says 'still no real cigarettes?" And i say "Yes, Mom." and she says , "Keep going or I will ground you." and she laughs.

She smokes a pack a day of Ultra Lights of...not sure what brand anymore. She used to smoke NOW brand, but probably went to a generic with the prices. For now, would be a mini kit, like Cig 2 O or Infiniti (don't want to start her on Blu like I did and now wanna switch over). A kit with a battery, a charger and 5 carts. I am not to the point where I am filling my own carts yet. I think she will do well.

Thanks Janet H and moishesmom. I actually have the NJoy in my mouth most of the time when I'm in the house. What's killing me is I'm useing 2 cartrages a day(1 Does not equal 1 pack) and it's getting expensive. I am trying to upgrade but I can't make up my mind. I want to do everything and I looking for a battery that has safety features that's not so expensive. I'm looking at the Vision Spinner with a Vivi Nova 2.5. I have juice comming to try and cut my money out flow. Old man rattleing, thanks ya'll. Mike

Welcome reddragon - looks like the Q&A has started and you're getting some good advice. Yea - ain't it a joke how they tell you 1 carto is a pack of cigs - not a chance. I started with thin batt 510's and had 10 of 'em because the batt only lasted me about 1 1/2 hrs if I was lucky. They helped get me off cig's but they didn't last long 'till I switched to a larger batt e-cig.

Thanks Janet. The new Rider Robust might be what you are looking for. It is the smallest VVPV that has an ohm checker that I know of. I have one coming in a co-op and don't know if any supplier has them yet but they look like a good setup.

Rider Robust, the newest vv mod from L-Rider with OHM, Volt, Blue LED, 5 colors, i pc 14500 battery

Do you know if these take button top or flat top batts? I couldn't tell from the alibaba advert for them.

It will probably be a couple of weeks before it arrives and I will let you know how it works for me. I don't know what they will sell for because you get them much cheaper in the co-ops. If I run across a supplier that has them I'll let you know.

Did mike get the Ce9 tanks from the other co-op? I got mine today and they are pretty cool.

Yepper he did. And he got off to a rocky start. Both of them threw out E1 errors on my Provari (short circuit). Not a good 1st impression. I wiggled the center tube at the batt end and tried them again - and hooray! both worked. The Ce9 on the middle mod cost less than ten bucks, the one's on either end didn't cost less than $10. The Ce9 holds up very well compared to it's big brothers. The flavor is good and the vapor production is right up there. I've been vaping one since supper time and I'm liking it more than the Vivi Nova's. A warmer vapor (which I like) and a respectable cloud when I exhale - yea I'm a visual guy, I like to see the plume on the exhale. I find myself running them at lower voltage setting than a Vivi Nova - likely because the coil in the top air chamber produces a warmer vape.

Discount Vapers has a couple of nice starter kits. They are available only to first time vapers....or if you are a current customer, you can send him an email if you are purchasing for a new vaper.

That's so nice that you can help her and you have each other to share the journey. I think it's very hard to learn about vaping all by yourself. I hear you about the chantix. I have a friend who stopped smoking for awhile after using it, but luckily she didn't have some of the problems I've heard about. There's a lot of good vaping info on this site and a lot of good people who are happy to help. Just ask and they'll be any number of people who will jump in.

I'm liking mine as well. It seemed to vape better after I vaped it for awhile. I'm on my second tank now. Yep the price was definately right on these. I got two tanks and 10 spare atty heads for 25.00. The cool drip tips were a nice surprise. I expected it to just have the black delrin tips. :)

I think the Rider Robust will take both types of batteries but I'm not positive.

Have you tried other drip tips? On mine the 'hole' seems a tad big, most of my 510 tips fit loose. I have to use ones with the fattest o-rings to get a snug fit.

So where do I find this Ce9?

Fran - GotVapes is selling them, search for Splitfire's.

Yep Mike the tips are a little loose even the one that came with it but I didn't notice it until you mentioned it. I really like the one that came with it though. It is really a nice tip.

By the way Mike what is the reason for the seperate air chamber? Is it to keep the condensation out of the juice?
