I am fixin to try Iffy's pear blueberry mix, I have never had a pear flavor, but love blueberry. I also ordered some pumpkin spice flavor, never tried that one either. When I first started vaping before my DIY'ing I had some aweful stuff so I am reluctant to try new flavors. Have a nice weekend ya'll see ya again on Tuesday.:glug:

We've all had some yukky juice that we didn't like, but it's all part of the journey. Don't let it stop you from tasting!! Since you DIY you could always try to add something to fix it. If you don't try new flavors you may be passing up something that is surprisingly good. Just make sure you get the smallest amount first so if you hate it you won't have lost much. I don't even like blueberry very much, but was SO happy with the pear/blueberry combination.

As for the recent newer devices, I'm gonna sit back and watch fer sum long term evaluations 'fore I jump back into da 'goat rope' rodeo!

I'm with you on the new stuff. I jumped on the bandwagon and got some Ravens from GV. We all know what happened with that fiasco. I am so happy with my cartotanks, I'm just sticking with that. BTW, I made some blueberry/pear juice, and I love it. I used Ecigexpress FE blueberry and pear flavorings and a touch of EM. Thanks, Iffy! :)

It's very good. If you like fruity flavors, it'll be right up your alley. BTW, pumpkin spice is very, very strong, be careful.

Yes, I am enjoying Iffy's combo as well.

Hey everybody!! How's everyone doing? Been awhile since i posted last, but just started a new project. Am building a stand for my PV's. If anyone has any ideas on where to go from here they will be taken to heart and maybe applied and used. This is my first wood project since high school(20+yrs ago) so i know it will be a prototype and if i mess it up no biggie since it was just scrap wood. Was thinking i might just drill holes for my egos and tanks and some of my juices that i use on a regular basis. Think i will make a couple holes bigger cause i am looking at the acrylimax from madvapes.com i think its a zmax clone. Any thoughts?

I got one of the splitfire's last week. Love it so much I have a couple more with extra heads on the way. Don't know why, but the coils don't seem to get gunked up near as fast as in other things. Also, absolutely NO leaking, anywhere, even when left laying on it's side.

I totally agree about the coils...I'm finishing tank #7....and the splitfire is still showing no signs of needing to be cleaned. I am liking these things a lot.....just got one to try, but got 2 more after a week using the first one. I really like my vivi novas, but I do think these have more flavor.

Elbertdee: My story exactly! I too, agree about the VG. Use it a lot. One thing that I like to do is have several rigs at hand filled with different juices so I can hit on one for a bit and switch off. I'm an equipment junkie anyway so it lets me use more of my toys at once and I never get bored. The thing I like about vaping as opposed to patches or cold-turkey quitting is I always have a choice. I can vape or have a REAL cig if I want to. I majorly vape but I never feel compelled to vape instead of smoke. I actually prefer to vape most of the time. I'm 61 years old and have smoked since I was 16. I started vaping mid-summer and it took me until October to finish the last 3 packs of cigs I had. I still prefer a real smoke when I first get up in the morning and that may never go away. It's OK if it doesn't. For the rest of the day, I vape.

Welcome to the thread and hope you continued success. I couldn't imagine inhaling a cigarette especially first thing in the morning now that I've been free of them for three years.
By the way just to update you, Elbertdee, our friend, passed away in June. He was a great guy and we do miss him.

Just a couple of quick observations...

First off, ya'll can thank Janet for my Janet's Heaven joose (BB & Pear) recipe! It was her post that got me to combine two flavs that I was already vaping as single flavs. Who wudda thunk of that combo...?

Lastly, there is not a day that passes that when I hit this and the '55+' thread that I don't think of Elbert! I just hope that his mentoring in his native heritage will be passed on and not buried in today's self centric society!!!

In fact, last Tuesday I was down at my 'office', aka local boat ramp, and witnessed a locally rare observance of a Mexican eagle in search of a mullet. In my mind, it was Elbert performing a 'fly by'; a solemn event for me!

Hi rik, nice to see you drop by again. Just do it, however it turns out, you'll like it. I've made a couple for Janet and myself, we use them all the time. But after ya make the 1st one, you'll have ideas on what to do with the next one.

Welcome Keyboard - always nice to see someone new join the group. So, what kind of 'rigs' to you keep around?

The tank is a Bedazzel..Yiddles showed me the tank..But it sold fast..Yiddles contacted Kathy (Bedazzel's) and talked her into making another 1..Then worked with me on picking out the best caps..The tip is a Sagewood Glass..I have a custom ordered for this tank..But its not done yet:(

I think its soo wonderful..The group of friends we have here..I never would have gotten this beautiful tank otherwise!

Wow, Mike has got to post some picture of holders he's made for our devices out of scrap wood. They're beautiful! I just told him to do that. You'll be impressed. If you have a drill press you can do wonderous things! Now that I've ordered a bunch of flavors to start DIY he's even made me a nice stand for that. He just finished it today so he doesn't have a picture yet, but we'll work on it for tomorrow. It's nice when you can do this for yourself because you can make it to serve whatever your needs are. Hey, you could start your own business!!

Ah Tex and Iffy, I do think of Elbert often. I miss him, but think of him when I see certain things especially outdoors. Thank you Keyboard for bringing back his memory in this thread. I miss him, but thinking about him brings me comfort.

Keyboard, welcome!! With some of us, after awhile vaping became more enjoyable than smoking. Who ever thought that would happen??? Tobacco has a very strong hold on us weak humans!! Explore and experiment, the journey is fun and there are a lot of fine people here to share it with.
