Welcome! I did smoke 2 PAD for about 45 years. I started vaping over a year ago, fiddling around with some 510 stuff enough to know I liked it, and got an eGo, tried hard to switch, but not succeeding for a good 10 months. I tired using up to 36mg nic, and it just made me nervous and gave me headaches. I dropped it to 24mg and was chain-vaping and still not feeling satisfied. I almost gave up, but so many good people said hey, even if you can't make the switch 100%, every cig you don't smoke is a plus, and they were right of course. But I didn't want 2 habits! And honestly, vaping tasted a lot better, was cleaner, healthier, didn't stink, lots of advantages...you know.

A friend of mine sent me some snus, another proven safe tobacco alternative used in Sweden, and though I wasn't too fond of the taste or the delivery method, they definitely calmed the cravings for cigs for me, and I found it was because snus contained WTA, whole tobacco alkaloids, which are all the minor alkaloids in tobacco that are NOT included in e-liquids. Oh brother, now I have 3 addictions? LOL. Well, cut to the chase here, I found out there was a vendor, Aroma E-juice, that made fluids with WTA in it! I got some, and it was MY answer, what I need to get me off stinkies. I'm not saying it is for everyone mind you, but after 10 months of trying, it was my answer. It cost more than regular juice cuz they make it from scratch, but I only use it when the cravings are strong, so it isn't too bad and still way better than cigs. Some people who've tried it said they notice nothing, so it's relative, everyone is different. I seen to be less sensitive to nicotine, but more sensitive to WTA. I can and do vape anywhere from 36mg to 0mg, depending. I know some people who only vape 6mg and can tell right away if it is something more or less...so we are all different. Whatever works for YOU is the best!
I saw that WTA over at Aroma's site and might have to grab a sampler.
Also, I'm eyeballing the Lambo 4:vapor: Maybe more vapor will do the trick.

I love seeing the vapor!!!

Sometimes to get it, you have to sacrifice TH. It wasn't never a big deal with me so it wasn't a problem.

I smoked off and on for 59 years. I smoked three cigarettes after I got my first e-cig kit and that was almost three years ago. I started with 24 mg menthol and have recently reduced it to 18. I found the less I had to fuss with my battery and carto the better. I like to use at least a 1300 mah battery and a device that holds around 3 ml of juice. I have many PV's but my favorite setup right now is the Gripper with with a 2.4 ohm Kanger T3 or Vision Vivi Nova attached filled with Menthol or Tobacco flavor. I do like a few other flavors that I vape some during the day. I like to vape around 4 volts and don't vary much but do like VV devices best.
I do enjoy vaping much more than I did smoking and it has become as much a hobby as it is a nicotine delivery system. I've spent a lot more money on vaping than I did on cigarettes but that is only because I like to try all the new stuff that comes out. I tend to overstock things I like and end up with lots of things that become obsolete. lol I think it all goes back to the old fear of running out of cigarettes.
My overall health and especially my breathing is 100% better so I'm very happy about that. I could drop dead tomorrow from something but at least I will likely be breathing good when it happens. lol:)
Here's to all my ecf friends that have helped me along the vaping trail.:toast:

I don't have the Lambo but I have a couple of earlier versions of the LT and they work very good for me. I think the Lambo has some nice features and is a good choice.

tx love your story!!

I smoked around 40 years and I don't think you are that much older than me so you really must have started young!

I'm 72 and inhaled my first cigarette at 10. Everytime I mention it I flash back to exactly where I was out behind my house in the woods with my brother and a couple of other kids that were showing us how to inhale. Funny now but sad too! They are probably all dead by now from smoking. I know my brother is.:(
I did manage to quit for two long periods during my life through prayer, once for 10 years and another time for 5 but I always went back to smoking when the right circumstance presented itself. When I was diagnosed with Copd about ten years ago and told I had to quit I thought I would be able to quit again but this time no matter how hard I tried I couldn't quit for over a week or two until I started vaping and now I know as long as I can vape I will never go back to smoking. I couldn't say that before when I quit because I knew it would be easy to start smoking again if the right situation came up.

I smoked off and on for 59 years...........

I smoked off and on too for 48 years. Although the 'off' times where short periods, like the time it took to get another cig out of the pack and light it. If Janet and I hadn't started vapin' a year ago, I'd still be chain smoking those killer sticks. So happy and grateful to find vapin' and the friends and support here at ECF.

Well my new toys came in yesterday but there's one problem. One of the Spinners was a dud. I tried to turn it on but no lights so I figured it needed to be cahrged for an hour or so. Holy moly the charged got extremely hot, and it still would not turn on. BUT the other one works like a champ. I loaded up both Nova minis and proceeded to create a cloud. well, the thing I didn't expect was the true taste of the juice. I turned the voltage up and down and it did not make much of a differance. I'll keep these 2 juices for backup in the Njoys. I tried the next 2 and I guess their ok. I have 3 more but EC Blends says they have to steep for at least a week, so I have to wait till Monday. I look forward to geting more juices. Ya'll were dead on, I'll have to try alot of juice. I expect this should take 6 to 8 months. I haven't had an analog for a while and I don't see useing any in the future. Litecigusa is going to send me an e-mail when their T3 come in. I'm going to get 2 with extra heads and 2 more Nova minis. The minis are great for testing. They clean up fast. I want to load up juice till my taste buds scream we found the right ones. Someone stop me I'm going over the edge. TOOO LATE!!!

Sorry to hear one was bad. I hope you returned it for exchange. Most all of the suppliers are very good about replacing bad equipment especially DOA stuff.

Yea. Daniel from GotVapes told me to send it back, so, I sent it back this morning. He said they will check it out and if there is nothing wrong they will send it back. If they send it back their going to have to teach me how to operate it. Their place of business is only 30 minutes away so it will be a short drive. The other one is fantastic. I like the way it works and use it alot. It has a very short learning curve. I was quite suprised with the simplicity of operating it. I am excited to experiment with it.
