tx, I may be completely wrong, but I'm thinking if one made up a nice bottle of Captain and a bottle of Cherry, then tried adding some already mixed cherry to some steeped Captain, it would probably be awesome! Captain is like a vanilla-ish pipe tobacco and very good. I don't have any cherry flavoring or I'd try to do it and send ya some. Wonder if black cherry would be better, or regular cherry. hmmmmm. If I get any and try it, I'll be sure to let ya know. :)

Where do you get the Captain?

tx it's from ECX - ecigexpress - It's the Tobacco Express one

I'm looking there now - they also have Cherry Cigar. I haven't tried that one, but I vape Captain regularly, so I know for sure that one is VERY good.

Thanks Kat I'll have to order some. I'm always looking for a good pipe liquid! I usually vape Coumarin Pipe from Mt Baker Vapor.

I wouldn't call it a piple tobacco, but I like this one from Backwoods Brew. I think BWB has some pretty good tobacco flavs.

Cherry Tobacco
Our Cherry Tobacco is a fragrant and authentic tobacco vape with subtle cherry undertones. It's delicious and why it is among our most frequently ordered juices! Like all of our juices, you can expect a very high quality base that provides clouds of vapor and a satisfying throat hit.

    That one sounds yummy Mike!

I had every intention of making a coil with my bamboo this weekend. But did I? Noooooo...I just vegged out all weekend and lazed around vaping. Hopefully will do it sometime this week or next weekend

Another thing I'm gonna do is make a bamboo "overwick" for a T2 coil like we did with the rolled cotton and see how that wicks & tastes :D

When I smoked a pipe Cherry Vanilla was one of my favorites too. I've tried a couple of cherry vanilla e-liquid flavors but they didn't taste similar to the pipe tobacco. If you ever come across one let me know I would like to try it.

I made a cherry/vanilla and vanilla/cherry so I'll let you know how they turned out. I think Iffy was looking for a good one too. There's no tobacco in it, but don't see why it couldn't be mixed. I tend to like the black cherry rather than the maraschino cherry flavor.

I'm almost three weeks in without an analog. Last night while I went out with some friends. The bar we were in was very smoky and all of my friends smoke. I bummed an analog from a friend and shared it with another. I found it to be disgusting, very heavy and bad tasting. The taste stayed in my mouth forever. Just wondering if any former smoker ever slips up and has an analog?

I would feel bad about it but I wanted to just try one and see. I'm content with vaping and don't want to switch back, and trying the analog completely reaffirmed that.

It took me about ten months to completely make the switch to e-cigs, I so envied all the people who said their first vape was their last smoke! I cut down drastically from 2 PAD to 1/2 but beyond that was a struggle. I copped out with the excuse that vaping some was better than none, but in my heart I wanted to be done with smoking and not feel like I had 2 habits to contend with! I was just one of those who no matter how much nicotine I vaped, I couldn't get the satisfaction I craved. I would be vibrating from all the nicotine but still craving a cigarette, it made no sense to me. Then I learned about WTA's, (whole tobacco alkaloids) the other alkaloids that they throw away when they extract them, that certain people seem to need even more so than the nicotine. In nature the alkaloids work in synergy with each other to produce the "calming" effect of cigs, unlike the stimulating effects of nicotine only. They actually affect brain chemicals, which in certain individuals, can have a very noticeable effect on mood, emotion, etc.. I sure noticed it and replacing the WTA's made a world of difference! I still have a bottle of WTA joose around for those craving "emergencies", I just don't ever want to be tempted. Which is also the reason why, though I am very curious what my reaction would be, I have avoided taking even a drag of an analog. I had always loved them, and doubt if that would have changed. I am really afraid of the temptation, honestly! Sounds silly to give so much power to a stupid tube of tobacco, but not so when you think about how much control it had over me and my life for 45 + years! It's insane, really nuts! But I am happy for you that it reaffirmed your contentment with vaping and that you will continue on that path! Kudos to you Unc, that is wonderful!!! WTG!!!

Excellent Unc! Congratulations to you! I'm so glad the transition was so easy for you. I was able to quit the first day, but that's not the usual way, most people ease into it. It's SO nice to have an alternative to cold turkey and drugs. It's been over a year for me and I'm still loving it and learning new things. There's a lot of good info from the good people on this thread.

Thanks...i was shocked at how easy it was to quit once I had made the decision, about a day after my last analog. And yes, it was much better than cold turkey or drugs. I tried chantix before and let me tell you, it is not a good drug. It doesn't do nice things to you, and it definitely doesn't work! But hey, it's FDA approved

Hoping that vaping w/ help me quickly stop smoking, as I do NOT want to smoke anymore. I do at least now have hope!

Congrats to those who have quit!
