Most of them have some degree of sweetness. I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but, instead of going "all out" fruit, why don't you try some fruit in a plain tobacco? Personally, I think the blueberry or cherry would be nice. Janet's Heaven, which would be 50% blueberry, 50% pear is very nice. I find that SC blueberry is one of the smoother flavors.

For the Janet's Heaven I haven't tried a 50/50 mix with the blueberry and pear. This is the recipe I followed from Iffy-

Blueberry (VZ Super Concentrate) at 2.5%.
Pear (TPA) at 12%.
1 drop lemon juice per 3ml joose. And no, you do not taste the LJ

Those 2 flavors go very well together though and the beauty of DIY is you can change the mix to whatever you like. I did a cherry/pear mix that I wasn't too thrilled with. I think I'd like to try the pear/apple.

I've never had luck with those recipes but it's been a long time since I've looked. Thanks for the reminder.

Uh oh, I haven't tried them yet - they're on my list for future experiments. I figured I'd be doing what I usually do with my cooking recipes: follow the recipe the first time and adjust it the next time around. Of course vaping flavors are a little more tricky than cooking. A half a ml can make a huge difference.

try this:
Mangosteen - FA - 9%
nicotine - 18mg
70% PG / 30% VG

Pineapple - FA - 8%
Coconut - FA - 5%
nicotine 18%
70% PG
30% VG

Blueberry Extra - TPA - 8%
Strawberry - FA - 5%
nicotine 18mg
70% PG
30% VG

Of course, I don't know what PG/VG/nic mg ratio you prefer.

Many people ask, what the heck is Mangosteen? Mangosteen is a tropical fruit that isn't available in the US. I ate it almost daily when I was in the Philippines many moons ago. It has nothing in common with mango, it's a fruit flavor all it's own.

You may try Oba Oba. It's different, but I like it.

I haven't tried many fruit recipes. Maybe I'll give it a try.

I mix Blueberry with Chocolate and its yummy.

OOh, I'll have to try that. Sounds great! I got Hubby some chocolate covered blueberries in his Christmas stocking. Chocolate is good with fruits. I also like chocolate with some banana.

I'm thinking the addition of a little menthol or peppermint. I bought some Harvest Fruit from Capella's and it's very good but it just sat there cause I had no desire to vape it. I added a little menthol and now I'm vaping it.

Kewl, now you're vaping fruit.

For the Janet's Heaven I haven't tried a 50/50 mix with the blueberry and pear. This is the recipe I followed from Iffy-

Pear (TPA) at 12%.

What I've been doing is making 15 mls of ECX FE blueberry @ 18 drops and 15mls of TPA pear at 15%. Mix them and add a little EM.

try this:
Mangosteen - FA - 9%
nicotine - 18mg
70% PG / 30% VG

Pineapple - FA - 8%
Coconut - FA - 5%
nicotine 18%
70% PG
30% VG

Blueberry Extra - TPA - 8%
Strawberry - FA - 5%
nicotine 18mg
70% PG
30% VG

You may try Oba Oba. It's different, but I like it.

Blueberry and strawberry sound really good, too. I have oba oba, need to experiment with it.

Oh my I go away for a week and there are a whole lot of new folks joining. That is great "Welcome" - glad to see you all here.

I am 58 yrs old, smoked for 46 years and pretty much quit 3 weeks after starting to vape with a cigarette like e-cig when I got my eGo Twists.

@ NatashaR - I hope you get your vape order soon or already have it and love it as much as I did.

Thank you for the welcome, Kari.

My order came yesterday. Unfortunately, it appears that I have ashtray mouth, as that's pretty much what every flavor tastes like.
Howev, I'll deal w/ it, as I know that will change in time. I'm going to order some blank cartos and other flavored liqs and forge ahead.

According to proVape's website my Zap hasn't even shipped yet.

I would like to know how you like it when you get it. I want to get into RBA's but as far as I'm aware, none of them can be rested on its side or they will leak. I would like to experience the flavor people say they get out of them though.

Semiretired, I have the Vivi Nova, the mini Vivi Nova and the Kanger T3 :) Also have the vision rebuildable Clero, V3? I think. Looks like the Stardust except it has the rebuildable heads. I have to kick up the ratio of flavor in the Visions and the Kanger. The Stardust type not as much. Vapor production on all is great. The Vision Clero would probably be about the same as the Smok Redux. Look the same different company. I also have DCT's with DC Carts and as long as the polyfill absorbs liquid they give great flavor, better than any of the tank/cleros, but if you get a bad one ..omg awful burn and you can't even vape them.

How much juice do I go through..hmmmm...because I vape 6meg I don't really pay too much attention, but I think they all use about the same amount. I am a heavy vaper and a DCT working right goes through juice about as fast as any of the others. Doubt if this helped...

...So, in my case I guess it was good that I tried a few and have now confirmed that they do not do anything for me. Nothing but vaping since I have been home and no desire at all for another one. Congratulations on your 3 weeks and for reaffirming that you are done with the analogs....

Kari....so glad to see you back! I hope that you had a great time in Vegas. That's awesome that after trying some cigs that you discovered they no longer have a hold on you!!! :thumb:

I know what you mean about the smell of smokers. Every time I smell smoke on somebody I cringe to think that I used to smell that way.

Hope that you get past the taste bud wonkiness soon!

No, it actually answered a couple of my questions and was helpful. Basically the Nova and the T3 are about the same so no reason to try it... I will wait for that glass Kanger tank... I want to get down to an easily rebuildable device that will last through regulations that come down and that when I am on my Semi-deserted island without internet I can pull out my kit and keep on vaping. If I relied on cartos - I could easily get caught with being down to my last one - not a good thing...

Well that's just not nice at all! :( Was there anything mentioned in the ZAP thread about delayed shipments?

flint - yep, it's not a good idea to lay an Genisys type RBA on it's side. Even if it has a fill plug, it can leak out around the wick.

You might want to check out some the the RBA dripping atty's. You'll get a similar experience to a tank RBA, but no issue with it leaking. The "A7" and "iGlo-L" are a couple of the popular ones. A co-op was just opened to more members tday for the iGo @ $8. I've got a couple of this ordered for Janet to use for tasting her DIY juice. I haven't used either, just heard good things about them.

Wow, that's strange. Mike has usually gotten a confirmation of the order within a couple hours. And he's gotten super fast shipping. Did you get a confirmation email on your order? Maybe you should give them a call and make sure there there wasn't some kind of mix up and they have your order.

It depends on the fruit. The only ones I use from Capellas are Sweet Strawberry and Sweet Tangerine. Anything like cherry, cranberry, black cherry from TPA taste like medicine to me. I really like the other TPA fruits. So far, ALL of the fruits I get from ECX in the SC are great. I only have Lime Tahiti from FA, it's really good. I want to try more FA fruits. YMMV.

I just got an email from ECX that says FA flavors are 20% off, but I don't see a coupon code, and they are not 20% off for me at their site... Goodprophets has 50% off on TPA flavorings, coupon code HALFOFF.

Can I please get opinion of who has the best popular fruit flavors. Cappella's,TPA and FA are the ones I usually buy.

I've only tried flavors from The Flavor Apprentice. I love the Pear, Blueberry Wild, Pomegranate, Honeysuckle and Mike really likes the RY4 Type Double. The Black Cherry smells amazing, but so far I'm not liking what I've mixed.
