Glad you all gut a chuckle out of my numb tongue. LOL :p

MM...I'll have to get back to you on what I think of the Vanilla Swirl since I haven't tried it mixed with anything yet. About to make up a blackberry & vanilla swirl though to see how I like it. Will let you know.

Have you tried DIYFlavorShack's Holy Vanilla? I've seen some folks saying that they like that one.

Big was on another thread looking for FDA info. So I sent him a link to the website Tobacco Product Regulation
Some how it looked different couldn't put my finger on it. When I got to the 3rd paragraph it was New and at the bottom it's been updated 2/8/13.
Can you tell me what you think this covers?

Ummm, so the vendor is to decide which law applies to what they're selling? They don't specify what a "device" is. Sounds like they just can't wait to throw something out there, let chaos reign and adjust it later? I can't tell what will not be available and what is just going to be taxed to death - I'm sure they'll have an opinion about the safety of all kinds of things. Well, that's my :2c:

Had been wondering about Muldemar after noticing some of his old posts recently and was hoping he was OK. Just want to report that he's alive and well according to kiko166. She's going to let him know that he's missed.

For anybody who has trouble seeing the tiny parts for rewicking or recoiling, I'm happy to report that these glasses from Walgreens are a great help. I got the 2.5 magnification. They have an on/off switch for each light and the replaceable batteries are supposed to last about 50 hours. Foster Grant.Light Specs Plastic Lighted Reading Glasses +2.50 | Walgreens
It's a buy one get one free deal, so 2 for $25 isn't so bad. They're so comfortable that I forgot I had them on and went downstairs and wondered where the light was coming from.

Thanks for a Muldemar update.

Gloria, just don't go out in public wearing those glasses. You're going to get some very strange stares!

I've added a drop of real vanilla extract to an existing liquid in a Ce4 clearo. I wouldn't hesitate to try doing the same with imitation vanilla extract. Worst that can happen is I wreck a $4 clearo that has a fairly short lifespan anyway. The drop of vanilla extract made my vape taste like vanilla extract, oddly enough.

You may laugh at this, but this is how I test my juices. I have read that others do this, too. I just squirt a small dot of juice in the palm of my hand and lick it up. I can always tell if it's gonna be a good vape. It should taste strongish for the flavor, but it calms down when you vape it. I don't like dripping, although I have several io6's, and I do try them sometimes.

ahh, shucks, that's nuttin', I lick my rings all the time. Best was to lube my ZAP.

Happy Boitday Gracie!

On another subject: I'd like to buy "a mod" such as the one pointed out by Gracie: 5v Wow Mod Then again, I get tired of being confused regarding what kind of delivery devices can and can't be used with different units. I like clearos. They're all I've used and they're simple and easy. I want a mod that I can use clearos with, but for some reason mods seldom mention clearos and are invariably pictured with carts, cart tanks, or atomizers.

FYI - that's a 5 volt mod. If you're used to an eGo class PV, it will be a much warmer vape. Ego class PV's range from about 3.4 to 3.7 volts, so stepping up to 5V will give much more kick to your clearo's. For example, a 2.5Ω clearo at 3.7 volts is about 5.5 watts of power, at 5 volts it's like 10 watts - a pretty warm vape. It's not necessarily a bad thing, just something to consider before purchase.

Thanks for passing that along Gloria. A couple weeks ago I was 'looking' for Mul. It didn't look like he had posted anywhere on ECF for quite awhile. Nice to know all is well.

Useful, that. Warm meaning temperature of the vapor, yes? If so, I think I'll just get an Ego vv battery. I don't want hotter vapor. The fact that the vapor is cooler with my one T3 clearo is the best thing about it. However, it's harder to pull on so I mostly use the several Ce4's that I have.

I'm going out on a limb here - but based on what you just said, I don't think you'll be pleased w/ a 5V vape. It will warm it up quite a bit and if your Clearo's are even less than 2.5Ωs - the watts go up even more. Like for 2.0Ωs, 5 volts will get you 12.5 watts which is really a warm vape.

That limb seems pretty safe. Don't know the resistance of my Ce4 clearos but my T3 is 2.4 to 2.6 Ohms as is my yet-unused Titan, whose coil was DOA.

This is sad. This is a comment Jason (owner of Electronicstix based in Utah) had to say about the proposed Utah law to tax sales both in-state and out-of-state via internet sales.

On a side note with all the crap going on in utah.. and the fact that i have been running an "illegal" online business in utah since 2009 and basically being called a "drug dealer" I made a trip to Boise Idaho over the weekend. Had a look around, Saw where the High Caliber warehouse will be, Looked for potential housing and warehouse space. I was pleasantly suprised that there is already a strong vaping community there. The city isnt too small and house prices are nice. I am still waiting to see what happens with the bill and the tax etc.. But the way the law sits now.. that is already in place.. if they get a wild hair up their butts.. They can fine me up to $5000 per order i ship out of the state or in the state. Plus legal fees etc.. for EACH ORDER.. well let me tell you 1 day .. if they just pick 1 day.. and do that to all the orders that day we would cease to be a corporation anymore.. It would put me under. So Sadly i may have to move our internet sales and our stock warehouse out of state.. which will make things logistically harder for my 3 stores that will remain in utah. I will eventually open a store in idaho as well though if that happens and i am forced to move.. But i am going to do what i have to do to remain legitimate, and keep my 20 employees working and paid. I have had people call me a coward for saying im going to move the warehouse.. But i dont see it that way i see it as im doing what i have to.. to keep doing what i love. This has put my stomach in knots for the past few weeks.. It makes me sick the crap we have had to put up with every year her in Utah.. Maybe its time for me to get the hell out of this crazy mormon state.. seperation of church and state my ...... Well i guess thats enough rambling for now.. talk to ya'll later!

As for 5V vaping, count me out! If I can find it, I have a 5V PV I'll ship out on my dime. That said, 'member our CRS topic? Have no frakin' idea where it's hiding!

Iffy....Did you ever consider 'stand-up' - you're a natural & always make my day!
Well, I'm not really a fan of over ripen veggies...

But hey, I'm very pleased that some of ya'll may enjoy my sophomoric humor attempts that might trigger an occasional internal chuckle (I prefer to trigger da ol' coffee spew). But I'm a firm and avid believer in that humor can ease many 'wounds' and/or at least lift a spirit or two. On the other hand, there are topics that I relish in attempting to put our lives in a true and meaningful perspective (aka being an azzhat).

Now, in my waning years, one of my main goals is to assist whomever I can in extending their existence through this wonderful invention of vaping! Hopefully, we all can do our part!

Geeze, didn't mean to get this morose. Regardless, this the finest group of individuals (aka 'family'), along with my military brothers/sisters, that I've ever had the privilege to have known and be a member!

Ya'll are fantastic!!!

It was posted in the Zen~ thread in the ElectronicStix forum area. If you're settings are for 'default# posts per page' this link will take you there. If not search out post# 18256, today (Mar 11th) 12:57pm. (see Note)

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/electronicstix/348800-zen-family-reunion-1827.html#post8903139

Note: I hate the forum engine ECF uses. If your general settings for 'posts per page' are different than someone elses and you share a link to a particular post. The link doesn't work. Same if you bookmark a post, then change your 'post per page setting', then go back and use that bookmark, again, it doesn't work. Its annoying.

Oh, and a cautionary tale...don't be like me and carry the gooey mess of coffee & PG around the house. :)
Read this novel if you have time...http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/239733-coffee-flavor-27.html#post6004475
Thanks, Gloria! I've been meaning to get one of those!

Did your carpet ever recover fully? How about your husband?

I'm hoping it's a Y2K thing too. Don't think there's any question about the nic and the juices going up in price, but I'd hope they'd at least let the equipment alone. It's possible regulations could come suddenly so I hope it's just the nic.

The FDA has already proven in the past that they will control nicotine as absolutely as they can get away with. It's just a question of what they can get away with.

So far as hardware goes? Well, they sell "other" vaporizers online, so why not ours? We might have to do a little re-labeling and say that our vaporizers are to be used for 0 nic only or for aromatherapy or whatever. I know they sell the "other" kind online because I stumbled onto a site with the coolest looking vaporizers ever that unfortunately turned out to not be for e-liquid.

What it comes down to is that new users are the ones that will be hardest hit because the cig-a-likes and pre-filled cartos are the easiest targets (besides the nic, of course). Ya never know. Maybe the FDA's attitude will somehow make it forbidden enough and, therefore COOL enough, to get more people to try it! (Instead of pricing them out of saving their lives) We can only hope.

And, after saying all that, Yes, I am still nervous even about the hardware!

DH...I got all excited & went to the site....read some reviews & it seems most stated 'glue came apart after a few days'. I'm passing, but I oh so thank "The Iffy" for passing on a bargain. For that price I can almost get another 18650 mod (watching the pennies I don't have these days)
Thanks for the info. I had a feeling that was the case. Actually, I have enough of the cheap mods already. If anyone IS interested in a cheap mod for back-up, I love my little http://www.smokerevolt.com/18350MiniTube. It's adorable, works great, and is only $17. Plus, it's not plastic.

I've been looking at mechanical mods, like the Natural. But, the more I read about their issues, the more I think that there's no point in bothering with it unless I go all the way to a good mechanical. Not the fancy, work-of-art expensive ones. Just the basic good quality ones.

They're still a bit expensive for me. So, I wouldn't be in any rush to invest unless it started to look like I really needed to. But, if it ever does, I'll be looking into 2 really durable mods, one mechanical (like maybe a Legacy or Precise) and one VV (like a Provari). Cheapo back-ups I already have!
