I can see where it would be...you've had way too much snow this year. And it's supposed to be close enough to spring that snow would be just a memory now. Fooey!

Nope, hasn't been on this thread before and I've been here from the beginning, but I thought it was pretty interesting. Don't know how I missed it. Thanks for posting it.
So sorry Fran. Hopefully it won't last long. Warmer weather WILL be here soon, although tomorrow wouldn't be soon enough.
Yuck, you can have the scotch, I'll take the water. Wish I liked scotch, but my tastebuds will not cooperate.
Only a couple of inches of snow here on the east coast, but the worst part is no golf.
Gallon and a half.. Thats just the crystal light stuff.. Also have a couple of 20 oz vitamin waters 16 0z protein beverage and 1/2 to 3/4 pot of coffee in addition to the 1.5 gallon. Its not a bad thing.. It has'nt always been like that for me.. Only since I joined ECF to figure out my symptoms and all roads led to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate... lol just saying... Must have something to do with body size too.. I'm like around 190 lbs. So you may require less..p.s. Some of that heat would be nice....

I'll take that! we have been in the 70s and I'm not liking it. yesterday, it got to 86 and THAT I liked! Guess I live in the right place for me.
I hit 1 to 2 gallons.. and only weigh 25 lbs more than you.
p.s. Some of that heat would be nice....
I really need to loose some of that.
I ended up ordering an AGA-T instead of the Pro Tank. The more I thought about chromed brass vs stainless steel - I ended up going with the stainless... If they had made the Pro Tank out of stainless and controlled the price point I would have been all over it...
Willie's DIY Report
Some weeks back, you may recall I decided to stockpile a quantity of nic solution .. as that unfolded, a few here suggested I try DIY .. so, since I'm "in for a penny, in for a pound" I gathered up the required DIY material and figured I'd give it a shot .. this is my report on the outcome ..
I'm sure you long time mixers will laugh at the simplicity of my concoctions, but, honestly, I did end up with what I consider to be a pretty good freshman attempt and I'd like to share that .. I have also posted this at the other thread ..
Flavorings were all Flavor Apprentice .. nic solution was mixed down from 60mg PG to an approximation of 6mg 80% PG / 20% VG .. the nic solution came from RTS .. the VG came from Essential Depot .. the PG came from TSC .. all mixed in blue / 30ml dropper bottles .. all created on March 3rd .. and steeped until this morning .. so a 17 day steep time .. all tested on an old school dripping atty which was cleaned between each taste test ..
Flavors used were TFA DK Tobacco Base, Clove, Type K Menthol, Coconut and one drop of EM in each on the 10th day of the steep .. I would shake each bottle once a day if I remembered, so they were not shaken religiously ..
28ml Base / 2ml Clove / one drop EM .. light peppery taste with a very fine light clove mixed in .. very nice
29ml Base / 1ml Tobacco / one drop EM .. does not really taste like an analog tobacco, more like a plain pipe or even a light cigar tobacco .. acceptable
25ml Base / 1ml Tobacco / 3.5ml Menthol / one drop EM .. I don't use any menthol liquid regularly, however, I do like to switch to menthol sometimes .. I did the same thing with analogs .. I've tried a lot of menthol liquids over the last few years .. I have mixed what I consider, by far, to be the closest approximation to what I remember an analog menthol to be .. 2 thumbs up
25ml Base / 5ml Coconut / one drop EM .. as good as the best coconut I usually buy .. which I used to get from Mt Baker Vapor .. I will no longer be needing Mt Baker Vapor .. 2 thumbs up
26ml Base / 4ml Menthol / 1ml Clove / one drop EM .. a very nice menthol with just a hint of clove .. surprisingly good .. one thumb up
the one fail .. 27ml Base / 2.5ml Clove / .5ml Tobacco / one drop EM .. nothing really stands out taste wise .. I'm going to add another 1ml of clove and see what happens ..

Very nice Uncle Willie. Glad your first attempts were largely successful and your chances look good for fixing the one "fail". Me, I'd add more tobacco flavor but you know what you're doing so forget I said that.
My second DIM:
2013/03/18: TFA Black Honey Tobacco, TFA Menthol
8ml 100mg/ml nic juice in 90% PG (0% VG)
24ml VG
2.5ml TFA Black Honey Tobacco in VG
0.5ml TFA Menthol in VG
Really good after addition of drops 51-75 of Black Honey Tobacco and drops 11-16 of Menthol just 24 hours ago. "Drops" equals the size that came out of the small TFA bottles, estimated at 30 drops per ml.
If it gets better with more steeping, great. If it doesn't, that's great too because it's mighty satisfying to me right now.
Total juice: 35ml
Nicotine: 23mg/ml
VG: 24ml plus the VG in the flavorings 69%+
PG: 7.2ml, 20.6%
Nicotine: 2.3%
Black Honey Tobacco flavor: 7%
Menthol flavor: 1.5%
Note: percentages slightly exceed 100% when added together due to rounding and also due to the fact that the flavoring is in an unknown percentage of VG, resulting in the flavorings being double-counted to some degree, as both flavoring and as VG.
