Glad to see you made it here!

I don't buy premade liquid, but I am a tobacco only vaper. If you would be comfortable with a little simple mixing, I can tell you what I and all my converts like. :)

I was a menthol smoker for years and I do easy mixing. I would love to hear a recommendation for a tobacco juice. View attachment 232833

I have been looking a TPA flavorings (Peach (Juicy) Flavor in particular). I was looking at the what was in them and was wondering if Triacetin is anything that I should be concerned about. Thank ya'll.

any great flavor recommendation from here would be appreciated too!

When I 1st started out wanting to DIY, I found Tasty Vapors Doublers. Regular tobacco is what I put in my (and all but 1 convert) mixes Welcome to Tasty Vapor. Menthol tobacco is what I put in my daughter's Welcome to Tasty Vapor. The menthol liquid tastes to me like menthol L&M cigs that my other daughter smokes.

I mix equal parts 60mg nic and the doubler to get 30mg/ml. That's as close to DIY as I got, because I like it so much. :) :vapor:

Thank you. Do you order it in all pg? Sounds like a good price for 4oz. I paid more than that for my 4oz of koolada.

Triacetin is what makes it a tank cracker. Other than that I have yet to read anything on tracetin (doesn't mean it isn't out there). I use the other peach they offer.

Not sure about whether it cracks plastic or not. Triacetin appears to be a humectant (used to keep things from drying out), PG and VG are apprently Humectants as well. All three can be found as additives in the list of 600 additives in tobacco cigarettes. As with PG and VG both are recognized as safe for ingestion. Also as with PG and VG, I do not think it is known for certain if there are any long term negative effects from inhalation. If someone has better information, please feel free to correct me. I am certainly not a doctor or chemist.

I do however like the fact that TFA discloses this information on their website. And also the info on "custard" ingredients.

Well, I suspect I will prove Bruce right in this category. So far I am thinking the 2 vamo, 4-18650, 8-18350, 2 twists, 2 X6, 3 1100 ego, 5 900 ego and an unknown number of 650's. The 650s and 900s he carries in his shirt pocket, usually 3 set up with evods with different juices; I don't know anymore how many of them he has.

Two battery chargers, one for egos and one for the 18650/18350. There is also a car charger for the egos.

I know I'll bring several T3, MT3 and his evods. Think we'll leave the vape only's at home that saves having to take an extra kind of heads with us. The T3, MT3 use the same heads, then the evod and protanks use the other.

Then there is juice... did I forget anything yet?:?:

Thats a LOT of batteries to take with ya ;) :D I would probably take two ego chargers (besides the ability to charge on the car charger) since those ego chargers aren't all that reliable and with taking so many ego batts it might be nice to easily charge more then one at a time if you manage to get family to do some vaping too :) Your list looks good :)

I have been using the same eVOD daily for 40 days (yes I document everything so this is not an estimate) and it is still producing vapor but it doesn't quite taste the same. Not really a burnt taste or anything, just different. Is it just my taste buds being weird or do I need to use one of the replacement heads I have on hand? Just wondering. I have never done a dry burn. Would that make a difference? View attachment 232823

Yep, time for a cleaning on that eVOD :)

I was told that the people who frequent this thread are Long-Time or Ex-LongTime Cigarette Smokers ?
If this is true,... I would like to ask your opinion :

What is your best Tobacco Flavor so far ?
I'm also being (semi) specific to Tobacco Flavors that are not combined with any fruity or nutty flavor.
Just Tobacco....
It can be anything you consider to taste like Tobacco. (NET, WTA...whatever...)

Thanks ! !

Welcome to the thread :) Sorry I cant help with the tobacco only juice as I with tobacco combined with other flavors. Hope someone here can give ya some great suggestions.

The only concern I have with Triacetin is that it is a tank cracker :grr: It may not matter, but knowing how easily it can crack a tank its not something I'm wanting to inhale a whole lot of so I try to keep to a minimum what I vape of it ;)

I love warm temperatures, BUT the humidity with those temps this week is kicking my .... :glare: so I'm hoping this is the last day of it before we get some relief. Off to get some work done before its gets unbearable again ! Have a great day all :vapor:

WELCOME,!!!
Well I was going to recommend Captain black from pecsmokeshop.com or blu-bacco from mtbakervapor.com, but if you want menthol...
Blue ice from mt baker is not a tobacco, but is very good, and you can always get their extreme ice flavoring to add to any highly recommended normal tobacco. Just use sparingly! It's very strong.
Or you can get very good tobacco flavored juice reviews on YouTube from step07726. He is the one who reviewed the captain black juice when I was looking for it.

Greetings mmsjs5,

I did just a little research on 'Doublers.' It seems that until I find the right flavor... that would be a good way to go.
I'm hoping that suggestions (like yours) and other LongTime Smokers can help me find a good Tobacco flavor.
Thanks again ! !

There is a new vendor that just started up. Naturally-extracted tobacco.com. They have the BEST (IMHO) tobacco out there. I would recommend Chris' Blend in the cold extraction. That is the best that I have tried from them. Their customer service is out of site as well.

I was looking for whatever it was that made my cola juice taste like it had bubbles. I'd bought some premade juice and was trying to duplicate it myself. When I asked at TPA what gives the bubble taste Linda replied that some people used triacetin. I did a search for info on ECF and found this -
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/search.php?searchid=18021077
You'd want to use a glass or PP plastic tank if you're going to use it.

Forgot to mention that I get all my fruit flavors from there and love them.

Mike just told me that the link I posted to the ECF search page didn't work. How I found it is by going to the ecf home page, click on advanced search and type in triacetin. The page that opened up had several links to discussions about triacetin. Maybe you could try that for info.

Hi again - saw you posts over in our lounge thread. Nice you found your way here to our 'vaping thread'. Backo an Adirondack from Backwoods Brew were some of my favorite 'bakky flavors when I was using exclusively tobacco flavors.

Can't have too many batts with you when traveling - it's not as convenient to re-charge them so plenty of extras is nice. I always take 2 charges for each batt type I'm taking. A discharged PV is useless and if a charger goes belly-up I want a back-up on hand.

Yesterday I decided to try my hand at polishing out one of the Kayfun Lite RBA's I have. Originally it was a brushed stainless. Not as fast/easy as I thought. Started hand sanding with 3200 grit than stepped it up to 4000, then to 6000, finally 8000 before buffing with a dremel. Results are not bad but I think with a little more time/work I can get it to a mirror finish. My hands hurt now so maybe this weekend I'll give it another go around.

Wife: Isnt that brand new?
Me: Yep. Just got it.
Wife: Why are you doing that?
Me: So it matches my polished Poldiac
Wife: But its brand new.
Me: I know that honey.
Wife: *shakes head* You're a kid in an old mans body.
Me: Yeah I know.
Wife walks away laughing at me.

I also have CRS and forgot to add.....I also add in Tobacco Road Red Tail Vapor ECigarette Refill with WTA with every batch I make, for myself. If I didn't have the WTA, I would be a different person altogether. I have been gradually lowering the % I use each time I make my batch, to eventually save that expense. :)

The tobacco juice that Mike likes is KJRY4. Here's the recipe to make 6.4 mls to try if you like.
5 ml whatever base you like. (I mix it 50/50 just to make it simple)
1.25 ml TPA RY4 Double (19.5% or 25 drops)
.05 ml TPA Caramel Original (.8% or 1 drop)
.10 ml Vanilla (1.6% or 2 drops)

I'd made him one once that smelled so awful that he was only allowed to vape it outside. Turns out it was the honey in it. Who would have thought that would make it smell so awful?
