Seems that I've read that PP can be used for out of the US purchases....
So their goal is to put US vendors out of business??

Guess I wasn't really clear
Pay Pal seems to be ok for not in US vendors, but not in US. But when Visa/MC stop making money off US vendors, who aren't allowed to use PP, the only avenue will be the foreign vendors who still use PP... so US vendors go bust![]()
Well. I guess it's back to our youth then. You print out an order form and mail it in with a check or money order.
Anyone else old enough to remember doing that?
lol!!!!!!!iirc, pony express did not use s&h green!
...and if you were lucky, you'd get Blue Chip Stamps or S&H Green Stamps. Ok, how did I remember that?![]()
I remember going with my grandmother to the S&H stamp place to pick out stuff. And, the books full of little stamps.
ETA: Of course, I also remember riding my bicycle to the ICE house (Yes, they really sold blocks of ice.) to buy a glass gallon of milk, then riding home with it in the little basket on my handle bars.

Green Stamps - yuck, I pumped gas back then and it was a royal pain having to count-out and tear off and give them to the customers. And - yikes - were some of them upset if we ran out of stamps.

We both tasted it and went, hey this is good all by itself!
Maybe it's a magic mailbox! Better check it real good from now on in case there's something in there you weren't expecting!I got some vapemail today that I thought was lost. It was a Sigelei Kick that I got from a Co-op. I had checked tracking and it was supposedly delivered on the 14th so I figured the mailman had left it at the wrong house or someone took it off my porch. Turns out it was in a very small envelope and was in the bottom of the mailbox. My daughter found it when she brought my mail in for me.![]()
Think I would have liked your Mom!!Mike, ya had da easy side o' da business. Being da eldest son, it was my responsibility to 'lick, stick and fill' dose lil' cursed books from Hades!!!!!
Hey Iffy, I know it's a bit late to tell you this, but a wet sponge worked very well when I was filling those books...
And to Hades is where ya would have been condemned if ya told my lil' Mom that ya were outta S&H or da yellow Top Value stamps! I 'member once that she had a manger write out an IOU due to a trading stamp outage. Oh, and yeah, she also demanded a 10% 'apology' add on. Yepper, she got it too!
God bless her life and soul, and He did, she sure made sure that she (we) got our monies worth!![]()
WOW, major flashbacks...
