Guess I wasn't really clear

Pay Pal seems to be ok for not in US vendors, but not in US. But when Visa/MC stop making money off US vendors, who aren't allowed to use PP, the only avenue will be the foreign vendors who still use PP... so US vendors go bust :(

Yep, the PayPal policy is strange .. I used to order from Liberty Flights a couple years ago until they really t'ed me off by not honoring a warrantee .. they have a UK location and a California location .. yet they will take PayPal and ship from Cali ...

Well. I guess it's back to our youth then. You print out an order form and mail it in with a check or money order. ;)
Anyone else old enough to remember doing that?

At least we won't have to worry about a credit card number getting scammed .. most of my bills I still pay by mailing a check .. it really was not that long ago people sent money orders and checks to buy something .. some of my customers still do to this day ..

...and if you were lucky, you'd get Blue Chip Stamps or S&H Green Stamps. Ok, how did I remember that? :D

I remember going with my grandmother to the S&H stamp place to pick out stuff. And, the books full of little stamps.

ETA: Of course, I also remember riding my bicycle to the ICE house (Yes, they really sold blocks of ice.) to buy a glass gallon of milk, then riding home with it in the little basket on my handle bars.

Ice Houde - ha, the ice house was next door. It was fun in the summer time to hang around and get the ice chips.

Green Stamps - yuck, I pumped gas back then and it was a royal pain having to count-out and tear off and give them to the customers. And - yikes - were some of them upset if we ran out of stamps.

I got our first set of silverware and dishes with green stamps! Don't remember ever not having a refrigerator though, but Mike still sometimes refers to the fridge as the ice box. And EVERYONE smoked back then. it's no wonder so many kids started smoking so early. Back then it was weird if you didn't smoke!

Mike, ya had da easy side o' da business. Being da eldest son, it was my responsibility to 'lick, stick and fill' dose lil' cursed books from Hades!!!!!

And to Hades is where ya would have been condemned if ya told my lil' Mom that ya were outta S&H or da yellow Top Value stamps! I 'member once that she had a manager write out an IOU due to a trading stamp outage. Oh, and yeah, she also demanded a 10% 'apology' add on. Yepper, she got it too!

God bless her life and soul, and He did, she sure made sure that she (we) got our monies worth!

I got some vapemail today that I thought was lost. It was a Sigelei Kick that I got from a Co-op. I had checked tracking and it was supposedly delivered on the 14th so I figured the mailman had left it at the wrong house or someone took it off my porch. Turns out it was in a very small envelope and was in the bottom of the mailbox. My daughter found it when she brought my mail in for me.

Can we use our blue, green and gold stamps for ordering vape mail? I still have that old yellow step chair and one of my sisters took mom's card table and chairs home when she passed away. I remember getting some camping gear from them too though I can't call exactly what it was. Sometimes I swear mom bought extra groceries just to get her little stamp books full sooner!
I ordered last week from FT so will have to wait forever again. At least it seems like forever. I have a knack for selecting the things that "will ship in 5 days." Liked the Vamo so much I decided to order a V3, then the Omega jumped onto my screen and called out to me, but the KTS looked good too and since I couldn't really decide between the two of them... Good thing I am DIYing juice now days, cuz the vape mail needs to be done for the month!:mail:

WL sent 2 4ml bottles of Bavarian cream with our order. I decided to mix one for use when things were just a touch harsh since that has always been my favorite doughnut flavor. We both tasted it and went, hey this is good all by itself! I had done the first one (Iffy, the 4ml bottle and 20ml of base cuz I know you want me to say) with 0 nic base, I ended up mixing the other at 18mg for Bruce cause he really liked it! That is a flavor we will certainly be using more of in the future! I hadn't seen any recipes that just had straight Bavarian cream, only that used it in a mix so I didn't expect him to want it as a flavor on its own.

Maybe it's a magic mailbox! Better check it real good from now on in case there's something in there you weren't expecting!

Hey Iffy, I know it's a bit late to tell you this, but a wet sponge worked very well when I was filling those books...

Actually, the last trip to Europe my bank recommended that I not get travelers cheques because they said that people don't like to accept them now because with the newer printers it is too easy to fake them. I would think that money orders would be about the same as far as fakes go. That should make life more difficult for us all.:?:
