Hello. I just found this thread, and am glad I did. After 40+ yrs of smoking, I got a cig-a-like for my birthday last month. Then the OCD kicked in and I started to research, research, research (my brain hurts now, lol) I am currently waiting on an Ego 900maH, assorted juices, and some cartomizers for my cig-a-like. I made the mistake of showing my youngest daughter some of the juices on a website (she's 25, don't worry..no minors..and she has never smoked, lol) and I think I have created an unintentional monster!! She is going to be ordering some 0 nicotine when she gets paid and 'test run' my Ego to see if she likes it...I see a hobby we can both enjoy in our future. :)

Hi Molli, welcome to the thread. I was a 46 yr smoker and really am enjoying vaping. Great group of folks here - just be prepared to watch your bank account - cause they sure know how to find all the neat and fun new devices. I just know that they have all really helped me :)

I hate the way I am always behind so all my replies always cluster together at the end in one big annoying block! Not that they are any less annoying separately, but... oh well. Love you all!
Charlie - you are not alone. I too always seem to come in at the end of a lot of conversations and I know my posts end up being way too long. You are never annoying - I love reading your posts

I can't answer on the EVODs yet - but I did order 3 of them yesterday - so I get to stalk the mailbox this week. :mail:

Oh yeah. Hubby is already screaming at the cost. I flat out told him that figuring my BIRTHDAY PRESENT into the inital start up was NOT fair. (he got me a ecig starter kit...which I have now outgrown..lol) If you take out what he paid for the kit (it was cheap..trust me) I've spent about the same amount as I would have on analogs....well...until he see's the credit card bill that has the 900maH on it...He doesn't know about THAT One YET.

last week I took a look at google+ video conferences. It's pretty slick and 'free'. To do conference vid calls w/ Skype you have to be a paid premium member.

If you hang out at all on google+, there's a e-cig group that started a couple month's ago.

https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/118013496868902342833

I don't really Mike, but I guess I will now! Thanks! In fact, I only recently signed up just so that we could take advantage of the multi-chat capability of plus with the video, which is quite awesome by the way! Super simple and as goof proof as possible. And of course free! My favorite part! LOL! I have more free kindle "books" from Amazon, free music, free programs like Bryce and Truespace 3D, Terragen, Facegen... OMG you want to "play" with something fun, get Facegen from C-net! It is as easy as pie or as difficult as you make it, but it is a lot of fun to create and alter faces! Because it is the free version there is a watermark on the foreheads and they left off the hair so you have bald models, but nevertheless, it is such a kick!!! You just move sliders to change the faces, and it's amazing how little changes can make huge differences! By the way, all these freebies are 100% legit, no piracy. I just love free stuff! We won't even talk about fonts or filters for graphics programs, or....I'll shut up now, you get the idea.

By the way, I just took a quick peek at the link you sent and I love Vapor Joes! And coincidently, last night I watched a show on Nova Broadcasting that I got from a link on his site. This is all too twilight zone like, shhhh, do ya hear it? ........da da da da...

Aw Kari, you are too sweet! Likewise, I'm sure! Mailbox stalking sure is fun ain't it? A bit nerve wracking though. I probably won't be doing it again until those protanks come out! I remembered! Hee hee!

I ordered an evod :) So hoping I like it but the price was right!

I hope you like it too. We are all so different, we all have different tastes and different needs. What works perfectly for some won't work at all for me and vice versa. Sometimes the only way you can tell is to give it a whirl I guess! Good luck, and let us know what you think.

Molli, mine is the same way. I can't use the kind of language here that I use to tell him off with, but it really peeves me that I am saving him so much in the long run, he has no right to complain about the $50 tops I spend per month when I used to smoke twice that per WEEK! I swear the man just NEEDS to complain about something! He drives me crazy! (Not that I have far to go!) Good luck kiddo!

Hi Kena......I think that could be called 'hate speech'.;)

Naw.. It's just that I'm the second oldest vaper I know of personally. The oldest runs the totally wicked shop in our nearby mall. :)
Darn kids!! I was smoking the day you were born
lol. That tone sounds so much like mr. Wilson from Dennis the menace!

Well I got some vape mail today. :) I got a new 900 mah auto ego to use with my Kuwako and decided to get a cobra rebuildable to try. I'm very happy with the performance of the auto ego but the Cobra is a little too much for me. I thought it would be useable out of the box but by the time I got it apart it was a mess. lol Naturally it didn't come with directions. I guess I will find some directions when I feel better and feel like messing with it. I got the 900 auto from Mountain Vapor - High quality e-cigarettes, liquids and accessories. and it seems to be a very good auto which are hard to find.

My Provari /Zap finally arrived today. I am waiting for the batts to charge before I give a wing following the instruction on the Provari web site for the Zap setup! Initial thoughts; I like the size, and the weight is way heavier than my twists. It does feel very comfortable in my hand and the more I play with it the better I like the weight. The same height 650 twist, and and inch shorter than the 1100 twist. The twists have a VN mini on them. Leave for the weekend and come back to 200 posts to read! Wow! I will start reading as the batts charge. Hopefully, I will be able to try it before I go to work tonight.

Wow tex, you jumped in with both feet starting off with a Cobra. When you get back to it, if I can help answer any questions - well here I am. :2cool:

Congrats Michael and the package arrived today. Thanks so much.

My daughter was kind enough to give me this as a birthday present a few years ago...

hmmm? If I received that from one of our children, I'd be tempted to put it away and re-gift it back to them when they hit their next 'milestone' b-day.

@MikeE3 - Glad the package arrived! Enjoy! I have been able to try the Provari with my VN mini and really REALLY like it! :vapor: Get vapor production, easy draw, and feels great in my hand. I wish I would have bought one a long time ago! I will try the Zap when I wake up tomorrow afternoon providing that I have enough time before going back to work.

Well - that does look nice and looks like it would be very easy to use. How does it compare in size to the eGo 650 twist? I just bought a little (well I hope it is little) eGo 350 Mah for times when I want something stealthy. No more shopping this month for me - but there is always the wish list.

A big welcome to all the new people and happy birthday O71! This is the place for all the coolest fogies to gather! LOL! I was thinking before, (I try not to do it too often though) it would be very cool if we could somehow arrange a BS session online where we could meet up at a certain time and chat live, maybe even with video? I use google plus and myself and up to 9 friends can video conference together and it is just a hoot! Of course it doesn't have to be that, and I am certainly no expert, but I do know there are programs out there that allow a bunch of people to voice and/or video chat together for FREE and allow us to have a virtual meeting! Some of us have know each other for years! Wouldn't it be fun to meet up face to face and show off our toys or just say hello? We wouldn't have to worry about transportation, packing, or getting dolled up to go meet each other, we would just sit where we always do and let technology take us! I think it would be a lot of fun! Anybody else think so? Even if you don't personally have a video camera, I'm sure you can still see and hear those that do, so you can still participate in the fun! It's how I communicate with my grandkids when I can't be there, and it is just so awesome compared to the phone not only because I can see them, but I can hear them so much better with the sound all around me and not just in one ear! I love it! Lemme know what you all think, maybe we can get something going! Our own zero cost vape-fest!

One more thing. This is kind of redundant, but I recently got an Evod on a whim, which I never do, but it was on sale at I-Vape as were the heads. (Don't forget the coupon code) Since I do prefer the bottom coil and I just like the looks of the stupid thing, I figured I'd give it a spin. It was a bit smaller than I anticipated, but that is fine actually. Since I've ordered it I've been seeing other posts about it, mostly positive, but not much detail as to why. So I'm curious...if you got one, what do you like about it that sets it apart from other things you've tried? Two of the biggies for me is the cleanness and purity of flavor that comes through, and 2nd, how long that lasts. I am a chain vaper and anything I use has a tendency to muck up and turn black and nasty, and becomes impossible to draw on within days, and that is being generous. After the second refill, it didn't really even need it, but just to play safe, I rinsed the tube and the head, patted it off and refilled it. It was like brand new. I've done that repeatedly since I began using it, what, 3 days ago? It is still like brand new! I can't get over the fact that the draw is still so smooth and easy...by now everything else would be like trying to suck a bowling ball through a straw! I love this thing!!! I hear they are coming out with a new bottom coil soon with a glass tank? Anyone know it's name? I hope it is as good as this one as I would love to have a glass tank! And I do love this! Did I mention that I really love this? Yep, I do! And why do you?

I hate the way I am always behind so all my replies always cluster together at the end in one big annoying block! Not that they are any less annoying separately, but... oh well. Love you all!

OK, OK, you sold me! I just ordered 2 EVODs and a pkg of heads from IVape. I'd seen it on GotVapes, but they said the heads weren't available until after the Chinese New Year. Then I checked your post and saw you ordered from IVape and they had everything, including a red one! So it's ordered and I'll let you know how it goes after being put to use. This may be something my friend would like. For some reason she doesn't want to see the juice so she's been using the Boge cartos and is finding 1-2 out of a box just doesn't work well. It may fit the bill for my neighbor who likes the bottom coils.

Yep, I too read through a days postings and my replies end up in clumped at the end! Looks like I'm taking over!

My Uncle did that to me. I bought him an Over The Hill coffee cup about 20 years ago as a joke - he gave it back to me last year... (LOL)...
