If you watched the Earl Scruggs video....did you notice Steve Martin playing the banjo??

Yes I did....I knew he played banjo, so that wasn't shocking, but........was that paul schaeffer on the piano??? If not it sure looked like him. That one shocked me.....if it was him.

Well, I'm just plain ol fat. But I don't really have a problem with that. I like who I am.

Love me some bluegrass so keep it comin! And Patsy Cline is one of my all time favs. She was truly amazing.

Love the trivia too. Very nice to know that Elton John helped Leon Russell. When you can sit down to a simple piano or an acoustic guitar, and move people, you truly have talent! Glad some of that is coming back a bit.

Well, I have lost 30 lbs over the last 3 years. No diet - just changing snack habits. I have gained 4 lbs since I started vaping (maybe), but it is not from vaping - it is from the Key Lime Pie kick I got on a few months back... I was up 7 lbs and have dropped 3 since I dropped the Key Lime kick... I weigh in about the same as you Willie and I want to be able to walk up to a scale - push it over to 200 and watch it drop - no balancing (190lbs would be nice)...

I'm looking at that big bag of Chili Cheese Fritos I bought today .. it's calling me .. I / can't / resist / ..

Those are good, but the thing that makes me just lose my mind is the crunchy cheetos! But they must have a very high liquid content, because as soon as you open the bag they start evaporating!! Dang Tx heat!!

Those are one of the items I removed from my eating plan... Have not had any kind of Cheese type chips in 3 years... Save my sweet calorie intake for the good stuff... (Mango Key Lime Pie, Cherry Topped New York Cheese Cake, Apple, Peach and Blueberry Cobbler, Peanut Butter Brittle - the good stuff)...

I've always been much more of a crunchy/salty snacker than sweets, but a couple years ago I began liking sweets a lot more than I ever did before. I don't buy any of it very often, but now I understand the attraction of a good pie. lol But don't go puttin stuff on my cheesecake now. Maybe a lil blueberry topping on the side but that's about it. Now with all that said you must understand that chocolate is a whole nuther animal. It comes from a bean, therefore chocolate......is a vegetable!!

I owned and ran a concert sound system, did some studio mixing, worked as an equipment tech and guitarist in my younger years .. it's not as glamorous as it sounds ..

Being the pack rat that I am, I'll sometimes dig thru my box of concert ticket stubbs from back in the day .. it just amazes me what a ticket cost back in the late '60's / early '70's as compared to today ..

Example .. the last time the Stones played St Louis, the high end ticket was around $850.00 if memory serves .. folks lined up a week before the show with lawnchairs and tents .. that same ticket went for $3500 just a few days later .. one ticket ..

And now you know why we don't go to concerts. Good grief. Where do people get that kind of money, and they'll buy a t-shirt etc on top of that. Sheesh. Think of all the PV stuff you could get for that!!!
