My Dr insists exercise won't do it .. he harps on calorie intake, even sent me to a nutritionalist .. which was quite comical in that she demonstrated what a "portion" is ..
I looked at her "portion" example and said "Portion looks like a couple bites to me at best" ..
My cholesteral and what not is pretty good, problem with me is I'm a guy that loves fresh bread (when we go out to a steakhouse, I like the hot rolls with honey butter more than the steak) .. pasta al dente in most any format and I'll wolf it down .. give me a fresh bagel anyday .. the list goes on .. and chocolate, frosties, frozen custard, it's a long list ..
Now that I've said this, I'm beginning to wonder why I don't weigh 300 pounds ..
I've put on some pounds but don't know that I can blame vaping. I retired and then sat back for a few months just because I could. The past several months we've been doing a lot of physical work on the house so you'd think I would have lost some, but I have the time to cook and bake now and have decided I'm going to enjoy eating it all. Now that I think about it, I should probably weigh more. Sounds like you'd never be able to handle Atkins!!!
