We are going to the Air Show tomorrow - so I am kind of taking the weekend off from my projects...

I use Safari and I never log out, just minimize the browser when done and I never got logged out. Do you have an option that says something like 'keep me logged in' when you do log in?

No, I haven't seen that 'keep me logged in' on login here at ECF, but have seen that on others. I'll log out and see if I can find another login screen. I don't remember seeing that even with my cellphone...it won't even keep my PW? Makes me feel even more like a Noob!

Hi y'all - I've felt like there were a couple of things I could help with or clarify regarding site features, and I will be posting this in multiple threads Here are some step by step instructions on how to do time saving things that are easy to forget the way to do, and figured that it can't hurt to print and stash the following instructions somewhere in case you forget (I suffer from swiss cheese brain, otherwise known as CRS and wrote these steps down myself when I figured them out I figured if I could use them, anyone can so here are the directions for Quick Links, Disabling emails for subscribed threads, and multi-quoting posts. Morning All!

I'm not sure if I like this business of my nose "waking up", most of the new odors I'm becoming aware of are things I don't really care to smell anyways. I rediscovered my gag reflex last night when I was cleaning up after my dog when we were on a walk.

I thought I was addicted to my wife's chocolate chip cookies before, I swear I can smell them two rooms away now, no wonder I've put on a few pounds.

I know you don't have to be told but I'll do it anyway....Have fun Taxman. I am so looking forward to when it finally warms up enough here to get out on the lake. We like to go out late in the afternoon and stay 'til 1 or 2 am. Do love sitting out on the lake in the dark trying to get the catfish or sometimes the crappie to bite.

We live 5 miles from where the Blue Angels had an airshow every 2 years. We went to them even as girl in Rhode Island, before moving to Maine. When I was around 12, I saw a horrific fatal biplane crash right in front of me, and couldn't go to another airshow for about 10 years.

Daisy - to keep emails from flooding my inbox, I have separate folders for different things. The ECF mail goes into its own folder.

Yep, I do that too- I actually take it a step past that and ECF has its own email address (so do other forums and every e-cig or juice vendor so I can sort specials fast and track orders quickly...but that's another story, lol), but I have my own domain and can create any email addresses I want - but a lot of people just DON'T the emails in the first place - I know I don't, and I've seen people around asking how to stop them, so I figured I'd just tell people how to nip 'em in the bud!. I only keep a few active, like I said, that I don't check in on all the time. I think "email filtering" would be harder to explain with all the different types of email out there, than to just make it end. Unless you really want an email memento that there was a msg here, the system is pretty redundant when you're around the site

Large print on purpose my friend I've had bifocals since I was 12 and my next pair is tri's so I try to make things easier to read. I figure if I can read it easily when I'm done...*most* people should have no problems with it

Hi Newesmokr, I downloaded the ECF app on my phone. It works pretty well. I think it keeps me logged in, because when I open the app I don't have to log in. I just checked, there is a keep me logged in box.

Oh, another thing. I like Tapatalk Notifier. It is an extension for Chrome, probably Firefox and Safari too. When you get a PM from any forum you are a member of, you get a small notification on the side of your browser.

I want to say that I understand how you all feel, and truth be told, I feel much the same. I just know that as a supposed "mature" adult, I have been responsible for some pretty questionable actions, so I try not to be too hard on others. We are all different and of course you are all entitled to your opinions, I just hate how the incident has fractioned what was once an awesome group in half, makes me sad. But on a positive note, you are all still here, just twice the topics, LOL! Peace everyone!

Sandy, do you have an iPhone or an Android? I've got an Android and I find the ECF App difficult to use. I prefer to use the web browser on my phone and access the full website. It's been a while since I used the ECF App so I'm not sure what I got frustrated about anymore, I just remember I didn't care for it. Just wondered how well it worked on an iPhone.
