Hope everyone has had a great day and we turn our clocks back! I do feel bad for the kiddos, though, that takes away a good hour of outside time.

A lady I work with brought a container of homemade soup for me today. What a treat to come home, get comfy and have a meal ready for me. It was good, too! She put all kinds of goodies in that soup, all kinds of veggies and beef and ham, mmm, mmm, good!

AL vs. LSU tonight, should be a good game. I've got my wine chilling, PV is ready to go, I'll be a happy girl! Wish my son was here to watch with me, but he's out with his friends, as he should be. I'll save all my football questions for him for tomorrow, lucky guy! :D

Super Dave, I LOVE your good morning graphics - so cheerful!

Yep should be a good game unless Alabama blows them out. There are several good games on today and tonight. I'm watching Texas and Tex Tech right now and it is pretty good too.

Those blow out games are just no fun to watch. I like the neck and neck games, unless, of course it's my team, lol. Seriously, even then, it's just boring.

The Texas games is good, but I got home too late and have missed most of it. My Mom lives in AL and is a huge fan, she'll be glued to the TV tonight; bless her heart, I really think she just likes looking at Nick Sabin, lol.

Woohoo, I'm learning to fend for myself while Janet's away. Yesterday I figured out the dish washer and today I mixed my own juice. How cool it was just to mix some up when I realized I was out of RY4 - no panic attack to quickly order from a vendor. Think I'm gonna like this. Got daring tonight and even added a bit of Honey to a tank of juice I've been vapin all day - and that changed it enough - I might have to incorporate it into a future DIY concoction.

Congrats Mike...sounds like you put your big boy pants on & figured out the dishwasher. Reminds me of many years ago I wound up in the hospital, leaving my husband with our two small daughters at home. Now this is the truth - he called me to ask how to turn the stove on so he could warm up some spaghettios for them (no big boy pants!).

Question for you - is that real honey (type you eat) or a honey ejuice you used? Sure sounds good.........

Flashback 43 years...

During a break at work, I had a note to call my bride of six months.

Bride - Hello?
Iffy - Got a note to call ya.
B - I washed a load of clothes and the dryer isn't working!
I - I'll look at it when I get home.
B - But what if ya can't fix it? I need to dry these clothes for tomorrow!
I - Ummm... how 'bout using the clothes line out back?

The honey was flavoring from Flavor Apprentice. Surprised me that I liked it as an 'add-in' to the juice. I never eat honey and prefer sugar to honey w/ tea. Go figure.

Thanx Mike - Sounds really good & I'm not a honey person. My mother used to force it down my throat when I was little (3 years ago)....for that chronic sore throat & cold. Wonder if that left unpleasant memories....on the other hand, what I would give to have those days back again.......

It's rather empowering to be able to mix your own joose when and how you want, and it's even better when a surprise turns out better than you expected! It amazes me sometimes the way flavors blend to create entirely new flavors that you would have never anticipated. No lie, if I didn't write them down, I wouldn't even know what i mixed sometimes just by taste alone. LOL, by the time Janet gets back you are gonna have created a whole boatload of new and exotic concoctions to rival the vendors! LOL! Have fun and happy vaping!

I have to share a bit of silliness with ya's. My cousin in SC had been vaping for a while and had recently started mixing her own jooses. We grew up together so I should have seen it coming, but what got her started was not so much her desire to save money or just to do it her way, but to really to it HER own way, as in from scratch! You remember the thread about making your own coffee or tea extractions? Well, she didn't have a computer, but I was telling her about it and I think that was the thing that really set her off! The whole idea that she didn't have to settle for someone elses product, that she could actually create her own from scratch! My first experiment, since I'm not a big coffee vape fan, was with the spice cardamom, which I had gotten a while back as a whole spice from an Indian Grocery. I seeded and ground them and followed the rest of the procedure similar to the coffee and it was quite awesome. Well, after that conversation she went nutso and tried extractions of, well, you name it! If it could be dried and ground, she would try to steep and extract it! Basil, rosemary, coriander, allspice, thyme, anise, fenugreek, borage, clove, dill, fennel, and on and on! I will definitely attempt some of them, but the one that really got me was her catmint, aka catnip flavor! She used it herself previously to make a tea and thought it should make a nice base for a vape. However, she neglected to consider that her kitty might enjoy it also, or at least not while it was being vaped. She said at first when she tried it, it wasn't bad, but needed some sweetener or honey, (see where this came from) and once she added it, it was great! So she sat there vaping away on it, and before long, her cat Alley (yep) started sniffing the air very intently, until she pulled herself up onto her knees sniffing. She dug her claws in a little too enthusiastically, so she shooed her away, but she came back even stronger. Now mind you Alley is usually a very sweet laid back kitty, kind of shy and retiring actually, so this was very uncharacteristic behavior for her to be so aggressive! After being shooed away numerous times, she finally jumped onto the arm of the chair and tried to make off with the PV! She wrapped her paws around Jay's arm and grabbed it in her mouth! She had to keep switching it back and forth from hand to hand and chasing her away because she just wanted that damn PV! She said she was laughing so hard she had tears rolling down her cheeks because the cat was so determined to get it! Finally she put it on the floor just to see what she would do, and without a second's hesitation she grabbed it in her mouth and ran! In fact, she ran so fast, she disappeared! She literally could not find her! Nor, of course, her PV! It drove her nuts! Luckily she had a back-up, but where and how could a cat and a PV just disappear like that into thin air?! Impossible! She searched and searched and finally had to give up and get to sleep!

She gets up in the morning, and there's Alley, meowing at her food bowl as usual. Jay, still bugged by the big mystery of the night before sees something lying on the floor at the end of the hall. Turns out to a thoroughly chewed up (but luckily still full) bottle of catnip extract Alley had stolen from the box. Getting ready to take a shower before work, Jay went to grab her slippers by her bed, and only found one. Looking under the bed, she found the other, along with something somewhat odd... the lining covering the bottom of the box-spring had a decided sag in one spot. She touched it and found it was quite heavy, and feeling around the sides she found a spot where the cover wasn't attached to the boxspring. She slipped her hand inside, and tada, there it was, her newly redesigned pierced and polka dotted PV, laying inside the kitty hammock! Mystery solved anyway! Sigh, always made me wish there was something like that for us that we can sniff and get happy AND it's good for us too! Whoopee!!!!

Thanks Tx. Been missin everyone. We can't get my computer to talk to her wireless internet service. I may need to get a router.

I like your attitude Greenmint. My wife's away for a long weekend. Actually one of the south Jersey shore towns that wasn't hit nearly as bad as the northern coast. Anyway, I've got to figure out how to work the dishwasher. That or do it the old fashioned way - by hand.

Iffy....where are you hun? Mike's bachelor adventures sound like the next episode of the mike and janet show!! lol

Hiya Green, I'm Deb and I've been a bit MIA the last couple weeks. Still will be for awhile. That soup sounds yummy and what a sweet thing for her to do.

Does you honey juice 'stinks'. Janet says she doesn't like the smell of the juice I spiked w/ honey from FA. I only used about 1/2 ml in 10ml of juice.

I just got some straight honey juice, but haven't tried it. I had gotten blue honey from vapedudes, and had mixed that with several things and it didn't stink at all. Hmmm need to go sniff the honey juice lol

lol...I saw this...my husband about had a cow when I bought Honey e-liquid...he said it really smelled bad. It's the only thing he has ever complained about.

Well there ya go! The honey juice is now banned from vapin' in the house along w/ Honey Flue Cured Tobacco and a Dekang Tobacco flavor. Who'd a thought honey would stink.
