Just thought I'ld let ya'll know that my GM is home from the hospital. Actually, she's been home from the hospital. She refused to stay. She didn't like it there. The doctors wanted to experiment with medications to help her breathe better. She hadn't reacted well to whatever they had given her before to help her breathing. But, she would have none of it.

So, I guess whatever happens happens. She's taken her stand.

Thank you for your support. It really did help. I'm a lot calmer about the situation now. It's not magically all better. But, I feel more accepting of the situation. All I can do now is visit her whenever I can and let her know I'm here.

I want to see you boogie on your feet or in the seat .. drop that gloom and doom and celebrate .. we'll alive and kicking, vibrant and life loving .. dig deep and look for that inner child .. it's in there somewhere ..

mattiem, wow hun, can't even imagine how horrifying that was for you. I always keep all doors locked also even when at home. The apt I just moved from was the only apt in a trailer park, and it was attached to the back of the office. once when I first moved there, I had someone just open the door and start to walk in, thinking it was the office. After that the deadbolt was on always. Several times folks attempted to just walk in. Ya hear the knob jiggle then someone knock.

Dancing, hope your gma will be ok. What a blessing that your family still has her, and that she can get around at 100. Don't really think I'd wanna live that long. I'm already too gimped up as it is. lol

Willie, love the songs even if I can't hear them. SIL doesn't have her speakers working. I can hear them in my head though. Well, at least the ones that had the title on them :)

WB Janet! hehehe Tx on the new socks.

Jewels, I'm absolutely with you on the election post! My faith is in God, not a president. I respect the office, and feel that things are happening as they need to. Some things just have to happen

Miss y'all. Hoping to get a router soon in hopes that will fix my puter issues.

Good mornin everyone! Good to see you on this morning Deb and thanks Willie for the songs. I hope everyone has a great vaping day!:)
I've been playing phone tag with the VA for a week. I've got a growth of some sort on my neck that they can't figure out what it is so they want to send me over to Seattle to check it more thorough.

Well, she's a grown up woman, and she's made up her mind. I can't say I blame her. At that age, she probably would rather deal with her current situation than start experimenting with new drugs. Sometimes enough is enough. I am happy you're more able to accept the situation. It's hard to let them go.

Hey, Willie, loved today's songs. Thanks for Zac Brown, esp. Toes, I really like that one.

Hope it's nothing serious, TX. keep us posted...

I am happy to hear that your Grand Mother is home. Hospitals are not fun places. It seems even at 100 she knows what is best for her. Losing our loved ones is a very painful thing to go through but knowing that we will see them again and then for eternity does take a bit of the sting out of our loss. Hang in there.
