Thanks, Tx, we'll be okay. We're under an official blizzard warning here for tomorrow afternoon thru Saturday. It's kind of exciting, except that Hubby still has to deliver mail tomorrow and Saturday. I'm gonna pack him a "blizzard kit" for Saturday.

We were in Rhode Island during the Blizzard of '78. It was Feb. 6th and 7th, almost the same days as this one. We got 4' of snow over 48 hours. People were stranded everywhere. My dad spent 2 days in a church shelter, couldn't get home. Martial law was declared. No vehicles were allowed to be on the road unless you had permission. We saw plow trucks plowing right through cars that were buried along the side of the road. Even though there was a parking ban, some folks didn't listen...

Good luck to you as well. My entire family knows all about you, and we are all praying for you. :)

i hope you all that are facing the blizzard fare well and keep your power on!:)

What Semi said. :D I can't seem to get it into unregulated mode, but that's okay...I plan to keep it at 3.3...I was just curious.

Lilac....to change it to the other mode......5 clicks to turn it off...........now press and hold the button until it flashes a kind of yellow/orange color.......you're now in the other mode.........5 clicks to turn it on again to vape in this mode

to return to 3.3 mode....same process......5 clicks to turn it off.........press button and hold until it flashes blue......you're now in 3.3 mode...........5 clicks to turn it back on to vape in 3.3 mode ;)

Yup they do!!

Aw Fran, I do hope your vape mail gets through to you!! They're pretty fast with shipping, maybe it'll get there tomorrow before it gets too bad.

We seem to be on the edge again. Snow in the morning, then rain in the afternoon and back to heavy snow tomorrow night. Temp predictions have dropped so we'll likely have ice problems. We always seem to be on the edge, I think because we're between the mountains and the sea. A storm doesn't have to move very much in either direction for us to have a totally different weather event. It can get pretty crazy. I worked 8 miles from home and one time the snow was falling and accumulating like crazy. A local school didn't let the kids out early because the weather report said it wasn't happening!! I know I saw windows at that school... Anyway it took me 3-1/2 hrs to get home.

I'd suggest trying some menthol.

Try not to laugh, but the VERY FIRST ONE I tried was ICE MENTHOL. So far.. ice menthol, grape, cherry, watermelon... they all taste like an ashtray. DH came thru here, grabbed up the VOLT stick, hit on it, said " hey, this is cool, tastes like watermelon bubblegum".

I'll be back after I bury him.

Better bury him deep.......LOL

Maybe flavors from a different vendor would work better for you. Peppermint's a good one too.

Hey... he has a backhoe, chica... and I know where the key is. That man better tread light at this point.

A strong MINT is good. From WHERE that I can refill in the VOLT blanks? I GUESS I really need some STRONG flavors. Mints, fruits, I don't know.. but I want NON-TOBACCO and something I can taste. Trying the CHOC from SI now.. and I like that, but still it's all a tobacco taste. However.. that may soon go away.

I hope your mailman has 4-wheel drive and/or tire chains - that vape mail must get through.
Yup they do!!

My hubby delivers mail in one of those cute mail vehicles. No 4 wheel drive, and the thing is always breaking down.

I got some vape mail today. I don't have a shipping notice from ProVape yet. Have some flavors coming but tracking says they'll get here Saturday.

I wouldn't hold my breath...

Sitting here sipping on a new wine. Chocolate Red Rose. Interesting for sure. It was on sale for Valentines so I bought a couple of bottles. My wife really likes it... I actually think it would make an interesting periodic vape. May have to try it...

I saw some red wine flavor somewhere, can't remember though.

I'm not familiar with the bolt and I DIY all my juices. Check out halo.com. They have some good menthols.

When I was about 13, I begged for a guitar, and my folks gave me an acoustic that I think probably came from Woolworths (I bet that's a store name you've not heard lately) .. the strings were so high off the fretboard (action) .. that it was painful to try and play anything .. in the first week, I shredded my fingertips, being a dumb kid and figuring that's just the way it was .. I had a copy of Mel Bay's book as well (sidenote : Mel Bay would have been 100 this year .. read about him here : Mel Bay Blog » Blog Archive » 100th Anniversary of Mel Bay’s Birth )

At any rate, the fingers eventually healed and I stuck with it .. these days, I tend to rely on special tunings since my arthritus makes it difficult ..
If I seem particularly jovial today (I.E. the dog socks commentary) .. I'm trying to lighten my mood as I have a $20,000 Gibson on the workbench that's giving me fits and stressing me out .. I should never have taken the work on this one ..

Willie, what are you trying to fix on the gibson??
And yes, I sure do remember the bleeding fingertips and was sooo glad to get the groove callouses ( sp)
that old Yamaha was my constant companion-hitch hiked up and down the whole east coast with it.
