The post office just called and told Hubby that there will be no mail delivery tomorrow, and our local post offices will be closed. So, if you are in the storm/blizzard zone, you may not get your vape mail tomorrow.

Glad to hear that. Some people aren't even going to make it out to their mailboxes. Most mail these days is junk anyway. Hey, it'll be practice for what it's like not to have mail on Saturday! Our post office person (mistress sounds stupid to me) was saying that it's going to make Mondays crazy, but Tuesdays would never work. I think we should schedule all snow storms on weekends and then everybody can stay home. I hope you both enjoy your weekend without any problems.

Did you see that the gov of Mass just ordered no cars or trucks (except those that are exempted by him) are going to be allowed. Penalty either fine or jail or both. Gee....I guess we've never seen snow before. Can anyone say 'NANY STATE'?

It really does sound stupid, but then there are a lot of really stupid people out there who will get stuck and block emergency vehicles or need rescuing themselves. It'll just be for the duration of the storm which I sincerely hope will not be as bad as they predict.

you'd be surprised how emotional folks get over this kind of thing .. it's no different than car collectors and matching serial numbers / bike enthusiasts / etc ..

Yea I rebuilt my dad's old bike, it's motor dropped a valve through the piston the parts would have cost in excess of 3k a newish motor cost 600.00 so I bought the motor tore it down and built original motor with its parts to keep the numbers matching..... Some dummies go to great lengths for what seems like no reason.... Except for their mind

Well - I am glad that it did not take me as long to get thru this thread as the Older Folks one :)
(((((((((all y'all))))))))))) man oh man have I missed everyone!! I am finally back online with my computer. We're having a ton of wind so the internet itselft keeps going on and off occassionally, but other than, I'm finally back!!!!

Hi Deb - welcome back here too!

Hi all,
just got through catching up on this thread- a quick note for Kari and anyone else having a drop off of flavor after vaping all day. A quick tip I use for that problem,- I use vision mini nova,s and just add a DROP of vaping zone concentrated carmel candy, for example, directly into the one I have been using for the day. Or might just use a drop of a different flavor like cream or different tobacco, whatever. It makes for the flavor to pop again.

OH thanks for the tip. I will give that a try - I think the next DIY I am going to try will be the peppermint and then that might be just what I need to add to some of the others.

Sure was glad to read that the dogs were ok - hope you are too :)

As for what to stock up on due to da FDA scare, just da nic for now. Everything else will be available regardless their decision (for da near future). The only thing I fear is nic price increases due to regulations and/or taxes. But, I should be good to go for quite a while now. Even if nuttin' happens, I'm still set!
Love life and take care!

Iff, so glad you posted this. I have been thinking I might need to consider ordering some kind of MOD that takes batteries - but I just know that I am not ready to make that leap yet

So much to learn with all this vaping gear and I just want to get to the point where it becomes routine before making any further changes - like learning about different batteries and chargers.

I haven't done a lot of stocking up on nic - but plan to with my next orders. Just hoping I can have some success with DIY some juice - so I know how much pre-made to order.

NEWBIE crashing in at the invite of Debaroo. I'm a bit underage... 49... but hopefully ya'll will let me stay and party anyway! :2cool:
Thanks for the invite DEB!

natasha - welcome, glad to have you join the group here too. Hope the vaping is going a little better today.

It was a tough loss but a good game. I will survive but will be a bit sad for the players that worked so hard all year and most of them are really good guys! My luck has to change soon. lol but I'll have to just keep tumbling on down the trail.:)
:tumble:

Tx - sure hope you are doing well with your treatments - prayers still coming your way!

I too was cheering for the 49ers for you. There sure was a lot of excitement in Vegas and I was able to peek at the score from time to time as I wandered down the strip. Glad to see you are still tumbling and the team will too!

I'll take an early spring. Honestly, we haven't really had winter yet, not for Maine anyway... What little snow we got is gone, just doesn't feel right somehow...

Oh Jewels - I am thinking that you might be really wanting spring today - I hope the winter you are getting doesn't last too long :)

Ain't life grand. She was so pleasantly surprised that she was bubbling over with joy.

mattiem - that is great to hear about your sister. I have one younger sister still smoking. I haven't had a chance to talk with her about vaping - she lives 6 hours north of me and I agree it is hard to help long distance. I figured if those close to me are not asking me about it - it would be even harder when she is not close. So I hope that as I continue they will become interested too.

On another note, my mom continues to have mini strokes. She has had 8 since 1-12. We are waiting for an appointment with a neurologist to get to the bottom of this. Her GP thinks they are mini strokes, but I'm not completely convinced. There are a lot of other neuro problems that could cause her symptoms. It is very worrisome, though. I am doing better with it all in my head, but my body takes off with its own symptoms because of my anxiety and panic disorder. She had another episode tonight, and we sat with her until it was over. Yesterday, for the 1st time, I left her home alone while I went to do her banking and shopping, glad it didn't happen then.

My mom in law is having cataract surgery next week, so there will be daily trips to her home from various family members for her eye drops. She just can't get an eye drop in her eye, LOL. Meanwhile, my dad in law is becoming increasingly difficult to have at home. He is often violent and unmanageable from his dementia. My MIL is presently waiting for an opening in a home for him. Never a dull moment.

Jewels - so sorry that mom is still not doing well. I was sure hoping to come back and see that she was doing better. You keep hanging in there - you know that we are all here for you

Oh - and the doggie socks look like a great idea. I have to send a picture to my son. They have two that are slipping and sliding all over their hardwood floors. Looks like it would not only help them - but would also benefit the floors too :)

Sure had to  at all the posts on the doggie socks.

I already had my coffee and donut but how depressing my taste buds are just flat dead today??? Woke up this morning and can't taste anything even my cup of coffee tasted like water...

Oh I can so relate to this. Sure hope yours recovered faster than mine have. Slowly getting better - but this is so frustrating isn't it.

It has begun...

I sure hope all stay safe and that the storms are over fast. I really hate snow - so today I am very happy that we are sunny an 45F. Looking pretty nice for the next few days anyway - only a slight chance of flurries. I will take that over what all those down east are having to deal with today.

Yah! I finally caught up. Have to run now.

Yes, there is, you Hordey rascal you!!! :glare:

(But, then I don't pvp, so technically I'm not targeting anybody except npc's LOL) Nice to find another WoW vaper in this thread! One of the incredibly great side-effects of vaping shows up on raid nights when I no longer need a ciggy-break!! :)

Well I had a 50-50 chance of picking the right one...... Lol I actually have both started on alliance changed to horde due to a friend on a different server. Regrettably due to time restraints and finances I let it go for awhile, I really miss playing. Hopefully soon I'll be back. I imagine there is a few others here to just hasn't came up it is a massive mmo.

My stress is self created .. when she brought the unit in, I told her I was 90% sure I could repair and the work would be virtually invisible .. it's very rare for me to be wrong on things like this, but in this case I called it wrong .. the customer can easliy afford the cost, the problem is insisting it stay all original .. a neck from another unit changes the serial number Gibson places on the back of the headstock so this is a fairly major issue for purists .. combined with it being a family heirloom .. you'd be surprised how emotional folks get over this kind of thing .. it's no different than car collectors and matching serial numbers / bike enthusiasts / etc ..

Willie, if you weren't such an artist you wouldn't be so stressed. This may sound really strange (not surprising coming from me) but I do believe "things" have lives of their own, having their own story to tell. Ever notice how quickly an empty house falls apart? It immediately looks so sad. I think instruments are like that. So much emotion is put into their creation and then the connection it's owner has with it. It's very sad to see one broken and not just from a business point of view. You can explain the difficulties of trying to fix it, but don't beat yourself up - you didn't break it in the first place.

Of course you could always just sit back, relax with whatever makes you mellow and cogitate on the really cool aspects of it's life! :2cool:

I truly laughed at this ... what an incredibly great response!

No, I expect it doesn't make a bit of sense to many people. This is the result of two World of Warcraft players using mmo jargon to communicate. World of Warcraft is a massively-multiplayer-online-role-playing-game (mmorpg) put out by Blizzard Entertainment. (truly massively multiplayer with about 10 million people worldwide as subscribers). The players choose to be in one of two factions: Horde or Alliance.

I recognized from tumbleweed65's comment referring to both "Blizzard" and "Tuesday" (which is the day the game is down for updates) I'd run across another WoW player. Despite the huge number of others who play (are addicted?) to this incredible game, I was a little surprised to run into one in this thread. I promise to keep the WoW stuff to a minimum ... but could not resist it this time. :)
Fiz

p.s.
"For the ___________" is a traditional battle-cry among WoW players; you're either "For the Horde!!!' or "For the Alliance!!!"; and although you can be in both factions, you can't play as both at the same time. Mostly. LOL

Jan....I fully understand what you're saying however, fines, jail or both seem a little (lot) extreme to me. Just saying.....gestapo?

Yes, I do agree. Hopefully they're just making a point. Who would pay attention for a $25 fine? It drives me nuts when I hear of people going places and doing things they're warned against. Like skiing off course in an avalanche zone or climbing where the signs clearly say stay off etc.
