Just talked to my older sister. She has been smoke free since Monday. Her first words today. "This is so cool" I think she likes it. So far she has avoided 6 pks of smokes. Her SO is also giving it a try and feels sure it will work for him but he wants another flavor. I am in the process of sending her to some of my favorite sites for juice and equipment.

Thank you to our own ECF Angel for helping make this happen. It never would have happened without you.

She is in the process of joining us here on ECF. She got a message that they weren't accepting new folks right now but I can't imagine that. I am going to send her the link to here just to make sure she is at the right place.

The snow has stopped. It's frigid today. Only 8 degrees.

I'm now sitting on 6000ml .. and preparing for my first attempt at DIY .. I have the PG / VG deal from essentialdepot on the way .. I got my glass mixing flasks from Amazon a few days ago .. picked up a couple of oral syringes / got the flavoring / blue glass dropper bottles / removable labels .. if anyone sees that I need anything else, please chime in ..

We'll see .. my table is beginning to look like a lab experiment ..

on syringes .. the pharmacist at Walgreens gave me a couple oral syringes but I'm wondering that it seems to me these things are best used to measure out flavorings, something with a long tip would be handy in order to reach into the flavor vial, especially once the flavor gets used and is lower in the vial .. ??

    Something like this :

6 Syringes 30ml 30cc Assorted Dispensing Tips Caps Adhesives Glue Craft Oil New | eBay

Thank you UW. These are perfect. Buying some right now.

    These are perfect too http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-Big-Syrin...088?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19d419add0

I already have 2 of them and they work great.

My P-Touch came with a small tool that looks like a stylus .. with a slot in it .. you insert the label and pull through at an angle and it separates the end of the label from the backing ..

There are some models that have this built into the machine ..

Here's a little video for you. The snow is letting up some, but I can still hear the wind gusting from time to time. It has been a very light, fluffy, fine snow. Heavy wet snow is much worse for power outages. Hubby corrected me about the Blizzard of '78. Where we were in RI, we actually got 53" of snow. This storm really pales by comparison.

Haven't heard from Jewels yet. I hope their electric didn't go out. Maybe they're out playing in the drifts?

As you can see, we are fine up here, never lost power. We slept in, and just been goofing around so far today. I'm still in my jammies, and I don't plan on getting dressed today. Don just took the dog for a walk, so I get some time here to fool around on the computer.

    Booya! Willie! :)

Mine is a P-Touch 1800. It takes from 3/16th up to 3/4 inch tape. The tape is TZe tape.

I have a Dymo Letratag Labeller from Walmart. It's absolutely fabulous, works great, easy to peel labels, and the rolls of labels are pretty cheap.

Glad to see your safe and sound Jewels.

Well the yard is plowed. Vehicles cleaned off and moved. Looking like hub's has to rebuild his edelbrock carb.

Glad to see and hear that you made it thru the storm.
