on syringes .. the pharmacist at Walgreens gave me a couple oral syringes but I'm wondering that it seems to me these things are best used to measure out flavorings, something with a long tip would be handy in order to reach into the flavor vial, especially once the flavor gets used and is lower in the vial .. ??

Something like this :

6 Syringes 30ml 30cc Assorted Dispensing Tips Caps Adhesives Glue Craft Oil New | eBay

Wow, great find Willie! It's got the 3 sizes of needles too which is really helpful! The 14g is what I use for VG if I can't get the syringe in the bottle without a tip (which is the easiest). Price looks good too!

Jewels, your Maine accent sounds much better in the video than when reading your typed text !

Actually, it's more of a Rhode Island accent with a hint of Maine. I still can't believe how much of it is still there when I hear my voice.

Hubby went down to the highway to check the mailbox but the mailman's late tonight. No surprise there. We'll get it in the morning.

Umm, Fran, I don't think the mailman came today. I saw on TV that mail delivery was suspended in all 6 New England states.

I got the 20cc syringe and love it. Very handy since most of my all day vape mixes are 30 ml. Oh, and for those getting started, you'll need some fattest needles for the syringes because VG especially is very thick.

Also some scotch tape. juice can mess up ones ink on labels-then it is a matter of "it's good but what is it" !!
So, I have learned to always add scotch tape over the labels. Another thing I do, but others may not need to, is write the recipe directly ON the label. Too many different juices to want to hunt down which recipe to remake.

I am glad to have finally contributed something worthwhile to the DIY knowledge base .. especially after everyone was so helpful to me when I began my Doomsday Stockpile ..

Jewels, loved your video - and the accent! Glad everyone is OK up there.

My Ptouch is a PT-65 and there's no seam on the back of the tape which is the M-231. The tape is 1/2' and it's about $20 for 26 feet. And there's no tool with it or on it to get the back off the tape. Guess I'm stuck using the knife or the pick. Now that I know there are such things I'm going to keep my eye out for one. I bought this one for Mike ages ago and they're not that expensive. They sure come in handy though especially now that I'm making juices. Most of the time I don't have too much trouble, but if I'm in a hurry it can be frustrating trying to get the back off.

I'm soooo envious of y'all that get to play at DIY. There's just no way I can do it here :( Thinking I'm just gonna have to wean myself from nic, but not going to stop vaping!!!

You could always drop by my place .. :)

And if that does not work, I'm happy to send you some on me if we end up facing a worst case scenario .. I'm pretty sure I have enough to share and still be OK stockpile wise .. :)

So far I haven't had a problem with loosing ink from my labels, but I have lost the markings on the syringe. Surprisingly the tape on the syringe holds up pretty well.

Ah Ha! And here I thought I had an original idea about putting the recipe on the label! That's when I use masking tape, but they're just the small bottles. I've got my keeper recipes printed out. Maybe if I find a better label maker I'll print out the labels with the recipe.

So, do you have any tips on keeping my bottles and their tips and tops from getting mixed up? I've gotten them from different places or are re-using some and they seem to have slightly different tops. Invariably I get them mixed up. Maybe I should put a dot of color on them with marker or something.

I've seen as high at 48mg liquid for sale online .. why anyone would use that strength is beyond me .. I'm down to 6mg but based on my usage, I should probably go up to 8 or 10 maybe .. it seems like sometimes I'm sucking on the durn thing constantly ..

Still trying to hunt down some good tanks for standard size Boges so anyone with a tip on that shout it on out please .. Jewels sent me one and it works great .. just can't find any like it .. with her skills she must custom make the things

I have a box of used bottles, from various vendors I've saved .. so, I figured when I get down to the DIY I would boil them and reuse .. but, like you, I keep wondering how I'll keep the tops and the lids straight unless I boil them one at a time .. which seems kinda stupid ..

I also use the tape over the label deal on the store bought stuff to keep the info from disappearing ..

Yiddle, not to worry, I'm sure we're going to have some extra we can send you. I think we've got enough to last us a few years! I might even have the DIY down by then - or not...

I know you say you cannot DIY where you live, but what if you bought 24mg nic (MFS sells it at that level and it is a fairly safe level) and then you cut it in half and mix in your flavors. You would have about 10 - 11mg nic when you were finished. You could buy a 60ml bottle and once you added your PG/VG and flavors you would have about 140 - 150ml when you were finished (5 - 30ml bottles).

Thanks Semi.........maybe I could try that. My biggest problem would be in storing it in the freezer............daughter will have a conniption fit. I'm just thankful that they allow me to vape in my room. I can really relate to what Old Hippy was talking about a short while back.....it's hard at our age to be treated like a child with more rules and restrictions than I ever placed on my children. Circumstances are just what they are and I have to deal with it as best I can. Not looking for sympathy here.....just stating facts.

I've used a couple of these for a month or so, and they work pretty well. I haven't found them anywhere else, but there may be other sites that carry them.
