Howdy all and welcome to the new folks. I spent the weekend at home and it was great to kick back in my easy chair.:) I'm back in Seattle now to resume my treatment. Everything has gone pretty well so far and I can still eat but nothing tastes good except ice cream so I've been taking advantage of that.:D I've lost about 12 lbs so far and normally I would be happy about that but they don't want me to lose any. I enjoy reading the thread everyday even though I don't feel like posting very often. Thanks again to all of you for just being you! You are all great folks to know and I'm very happy to have you as friends!:toast:
:tumble:

Nice to hear that you got to spend another weekend at home TX.

:toast: Be blessed!!!

I am taking my mom to the neurologist in the morning at 7:45, and I am not looking forward to it since I am not a morning person. At least it won't be snowing! Hopefully, we can get this ball rolling and find out what's wrong with her. I had a lovely 2 days off with Hubby. We played lots of games and listened to music, very relaxing... We've also been watching the seasons of the TV show, Parenthood, and enjoying it very much.

Mike, I keep wanting to try some kind of RBA tank, but I'm just too darn happy with my carto tanks. I figure I'd be pretty good at wrapping coils since I am a wire wrapper by profession. Maybe someday... Yes, I have been following a few of those coops in trouble, especially the one you mentioned. It's all very, very sad. ...'nuf said.

Tx, so glad things are going relatively well for you. Nice that you got to spend the weekend at home. So happy you can still eat, I guess you'll have to enjoy the texture of food instead of the taste. I can think of worse things than eating ice cream, LOL. Funny story, I have a retail account, and the lady that places the orders had a head injury a few years ago. She cannot taste anything at all. Somehow the head injury knocked out her ability to taste. So she goes by texture. Funny, she still prefers the texture of desserts and sweets...

Welcome Faylool.........hmmmm.....Sweet Home.........guess I've been gone from Oregon for too many years to remember just where that was...up around Portland? I went to high school in Corvallis and Philomath, late hubby taught at University of Oregon in Eugene and my sister is still out there in Central Point, close to Medford. Seems I saw someone else on ECF recently that was from Sweet Home.....okay, I'm just blathering away here......once again WELCOME :D

Thank you. It should be fun place.
Well at least you've heard of it. Surprised you don't remember it! It's 40 miles from Corvallis on the way to Sisters over the hwy 20 pass. It has the FAMOUS Foster Lake and Green Peter and about 6 restaurants and 2 grocery stores and a post office and library. And sponsors the Jamboree Country Western 3 day concert every Summer. Less than 10,000 pop
I know tumbleweed started a thread I've visited and when. Do everybody is very friendly. I didn't know he has been in recovery for something. Not fun

So glad to hear you were able to relax at home this weekend, but sorry to hear your taster is broken. Maybe it's the fact that the ice cream is cold that helps you be able to taste it? Wonder if you could try freezing that drink supplement, I think it's Ensure or something? You could eat it like a popsicle? Uh Oh, can you taste your vaping juices?

Jewels - you'll need to be ready to take on a challenge w/ patience. RBA's are def not plug-and-vape when you first start. Then if you get hooked, just when you think you have it down - nothing goes right with your next setup and your ready to give up or you get what you think is the perfect setup (and this is when you know you're hooked) then you say "what if I change this' will it be even better.

I keep breaking the Golden Rule of RBAs - if it's working well don't try to make it better.

It's Great if you fish mostly! And love Nature in any any weather (mud). (. :

"fish mostly" did you say "fish mostly". You got a guest room, I'll be coming. :toast:

Good Morning Everyone. Welcome to the newcomers to the thread - the more the merrier. Sure good to hear from you Tex...

Just spent the last 4 days at a camping / country rock jamboree... To cold for it, but it sure was a blast. Had about 80 campers, 7 bonfires, and about a dozen generators going 24 hrs a day. Live bands and all... Our friends invited us - it seems that the lady that owns the campground does this every year - it was our friends first time to try it also... Sure was a blast...

Actually the Ensure doesn't taste bad and I'm drinking it more and more. Most sweets like hard candies still taste pretty good too. It is my regular foods that aren't tasting very good at all. I'm just starting to get a sore throat and the doc says It will be getting to sore to eat at all soon and I will be using my peg. I am hoping they are wrong about that but we will see.

So far my juice seems to taste the same when vaping. I'm hoping to be able to vape all through the treatment. I was able to vape immediately after the surgery so I expect to be able to continue vaping. I'm feeling real good this morning!:toast::vapor:

Hey Willie - you want drama - you should see what's going on in a co-op I paid money into for a couple RBA's. The co-op organizer used over $20,000 of co-op money for personal use. The atty's are almost complete but the machinist won't release them until he gets paid - can't blame him at all. About 175 counts of fraud/theft/etc are being filed with the police in the jurisdiction. Yikes! All I wanted were a couple real nice, easy on the pocketbook RBAs.

Oh yea - ECF mods are fully co-operating and most likely will change co-op rules. No more co-ops for custom 'stuff', only pre-made or off the shelf goods looks like the future of co-ops after this fiasco.

You know, Mike, if somebody can scam it these days, they will ..

Glad you had a relaxing weekend at home! It's always so good to hear from you!

I'm 60 and float around ecf a lot to learn all the good stuff and yeah maybe a little gossip, lots of laughs, take frequent vaping breaks, and procrastinate on a lot of things or the fact I got a lot done and didn't have time to vape. With Spring coming I'm looking forward to a lot of extra chores I'm not exactly excited about at the moment (stretch/yawn) but when it starts rolling I am glad! It's crazy how when I was young I wished I could slow down relax get some quality down time but I had trouble sitting still. Now I I have trouble getting going. The good news is that once I do get going I'm good for it. I can be as busy as I want to be. I've set myself up with plenty to keep me busy. I just got a bunch of flavors from Natures Flavors co op which has been fun fun. I also started snus and snuff because I can't afford WTA premades now and that's good because I always like doing my own thing better but premades taught me a lot. I did a equall parts of strawberry, blackberry, Bavarian cream and about half of said parts in coconut and 1/4 of malty and got one I can't stop vaping in order to taste it. It's good the way it is but i might simply make it a little stronger in the flavors but will wait the two week steep. The other one was easy. 7% Chai with 70/30 pg VG. Way better than the two premade Chais I bought from different vendors. This has me believing that saving money is also going to get me some great vapes. Finally I'm glad visited here because I read about some 20K rip off re co op and didn't know what the deal was. Rba. Drag. I did my first using a wick and coil premade to 3.00 ohms. I simply installed it. Great way to get my feet wet because it worked and pushing, stretching and pulling on the coil proved less delicate than I imagined and it came up measuring 3.00. So I thank the guy that made that one. Installs some confidence and rba vaping delivers more nic than the other stuff. I made myself nauseated learning that. Hope to follow this thread by subscribing and see what I get out of it and can offer to it.

    Welcome Faylool!

I so hear you about being as busy as you want to be.

I had to laugh about you getting nauseated about learning stuff. I get headaches and when my stomach starts to feel a bit off, I stop and leave the computer. LOL

I am taking my mom to the neurologist in the morning at 7:45, and I am not looking forward to it since I am not a morning person. At least it won't be snowing! That is an early start but hopefully, by the time you read this post, you will have at least, some direction in which to go.
A relaxing 2 days with hubby sounds like it was just the ticket.

RBA's are def not plug-and-vape when you first start.

That's what I like; plug and vape! At this stage of the game, at least for me, I need simplicity! LOL

Welcome Faylool to our little world. Nice of you to drop by. How long have you been vaping?

Ain't that the truth about the TV. Now that we have a gazillion channels I find that there's really not much worth watching!

I have to agree with you, Janet. I subscribed to Netflix so I can watch what I want when I want.

Mike, I've saved a bunch of shortcuts (including the amazing idea of using the spring) and taken lots of notes out of your posts to help me figure this all out. Thank you so much for the help!

Uncle Willie and Yiddle, thanks for the Sam Cooke today. His voice and words touch me.

Faylool, it's about time you finally wandered in here! Thanks for the Chai tea recipe. And, I like your DIY style!

Tex, I need to try an ice cream diet! Of course, without the getting sick part. I just need to convince myself that an ice cream diet will make ME lose 12 pounds! And, don't worry about posting. Just type in "Fly By!" every once in a while so we know you're alright.

I've always wanted a copy of Ramblin' Rose. My father used to sing it to me as a child. I always thought he wrote it just for me! I feel closer to my father right now than I have since I was a child. Thank you!

I don't think it's just these days. We just hear about it now. There are always a % of people who will figure out how to scam anybody.

I agree totally. 'These days' things are just more in the open, bringing things out into the light of day! All the bad stuff has always happened. And, the victims used to be alone in secrecy to suffer.

Snagged it Willie. Thanks for posting it. I couldn't take advantage of the last deal for that Photo app. The app only worked on a PC and we run Macbooks in this house.

Also got 44 free songs for a total of 144 songs for 4 bucks - great deal and the songs, like ya said, all look good.
