Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

Speaking of water leaks.......our water heater tank is kaput! Leaking was so small, we didn't even notice it at first until I had to go in the garage barefoot to get something out of my car!

Thank goodness it's in the garage where no real damage can be done!

We've been in this house for 11 years, and it had been here for about 5 years before that, so, it's bye-bye and a big thank you for serving us so well!

ugh! You're lucky its in the garage. Years ago we had one 'go' in the basement and what a mess. It's an unfinished basement but still a mess to clean up.

Oh, I know we're so lucky to have it in the garage. There are other homes here that have it in the main house.

Our local Elks club just suffered a small fire, and for whatever reason, the enclosed hot water tank burst and actually put out the fire.......lots of smoke damage though.

A bit bizarre, but fortunate that the fire did not spread!

Yeah, older appliances and stuff is one of the downfalls when living in an older home, but even new homes become older homes eventually. I actually prefer our older home - it was built when wood was wood - not this softer pine stuff they use now adays. My house has 2 x 6's or 2 x 8's that are real 2 x 6's etc. When I replaced a few a while back I had to buy the larger size and rip them down so they would match. And the old lumber all has to be predrilled. The nails they make now adays will not dent 50+ year old wood...

If anyone is looking to do something different and a lot of fun, I bought a Living Social deal to do a Segway tour in Phila. What a blast. We love those things! You do have to have a pretty good sense of balance, but they're very easy to learn how to use. Only took a few minutes of instruction and then a little practice and we were off.

My paranoia always kicks in with stuff like this ... I had a perfectly functional water heater in the basement that was 10 years old and everytime I went out of town for a few days, I started worrying .. replaced just to get it off my mind ..

I could offer up Cake and Ice Cream

My cholesterol went up just by looking at the PIC .. :D

A couple nights ago, I decided to fry up some junk I'd bought here and there over the last couple months, all heat and eat stuff .. jalapeno poppers, breaded mushrooms, cheese sticks, pizza bites .. etc .. washing it down with a margarita or three .. then topped it off with a couple cupcakes a neighbor had given me .. all was well until about 3:00 AM when I woke up with the worst case of sheer volcanic heartburn .. I have to keep reminding myself that my digestive system is not what it used to be ..

Our house was built in 1978 - when I redid the family room it was stripped down to the interior framing. Yikes! Putting the drywall back up really tested the screw gun, it was like screwing into metal. I know exactly what you mean.

Today, I'm dedicating some tunes to all the young ladies on the thread

.. it's Friday, it's getting a little crispy around here, the Cardinals are tied in the Series and we had Jack Frost pay a visit last night .. Autumn is not just in the air, it's here ..

So, I'm in the mood for a little sweet soul music to kick off the weekend .. harken back to the happy days of yesteryear .. when you'd carry that amazing transistor radio around, and at night, when you were supposed to be sleeping, you'd put that mono earpiece in and listen to those songs that became a part of your life .. the fabric that helped you grow up .. you felt like they were singing to you .. sit back and think back ..

Comin' at ya from just East of the Magnificent Gateway Arch, the Gateway to the West .. on a cold and sunny Friday .. crank it up for Uncle Willie .. I've got my eye on you ..

I'm tellin' ya, like a poor chicken / cow / turkey .. they are pumping the trees full of hormones these days to make them grow faster and thus, they are weak and have no Kung Fu left ..

Old growth wood is denser because it grows slower. Trees grown after aggressive lumbering or clear-cutting have less competition, and therefore grow faster. So, yet, there is a difference. Plus, there is simply the number of years in a dry and non-buggy place, as dead wood-- I think that also makes it harder.

I've made custom guitars for over 35 years, so I'm fairly familiar with wood .. ;)

I have a 2000 sq foot warehouse that I've stockpiled various woods in over the years, everything from koa, to spalted maple and any other instrument grade wood you can think of ..

Would luv to drive/'race' one of those. >>> bucket list

I think they said they'll go 12 mph and we came close to that racing back to the base where we started. That was so much fun. Zipping around a parking lot would be fun to, but it's so much better watching pedestrians scream and scramble to get out of our way!
Just kidding, I think we only bowled over 1 old lady. She wasn't very adept at getting her wheelchair out of the way. And I'm not sure what the screeching tires were all about...

The age of the tree that the wood is taken out of and the processing that the wood goes through after the tree is cut also makes a big difference. I have spent many a years refinishing and repairing some fine antiques and the wood can make all the difference in the world - grains etc. all play a big roll.

I have several 100+ year old Australian pine trees in my yard - all 80 - 100+ ft tall - they wood make some fine furniture and cabinets... Had to take one down several years ago - made a few table tops, clocks, end and coffee tables from some of it - the rest was sold by the guy that took down the tree to a furniture company...
