Hello 55+

Today I had to replace oil cooler lines on my corolla. Getting down on creeper is more of a controlled flop that propels me into the bumper. And then I found that my neck muscles won't hold my head up to see things that aren't straight over my head.

None of that bothered me all that much but then my REO Grand fell out of my top pocket and it got a couple drops of trans oil on it! Getting old is Hell!

My cousins got in a wreck today. Walt is in the hospital, they are watching him "because of his heart problems." Erin was treated and released with only minor injuries. Laura was 8 years old. She was pinned under the truck and did not survive. Walt is her grandpa (my age), Erin is her mom (we used to go camping and she spent all her time asking about horses and ranching). My heart is breaking and I can use prayer from any who have some to spare.

They are in Minn. so I don't get to see them often. Mostly I know that we need lots of prayers. At this point there is nothing else that can help.

I'm so sorry to hear the sad news about Laura. I will definitely be praying for you and the family. I have a 10 year old grand daughter and can imagine how devastating it must be on the family.

Oh balwin, my heart goes out to this family. It's such an devastating tragedy for a parent to loose a child. Prayers indeed, will be said over and over again for everyone involved.

Thank you all for your prayers! Most of all I wish them for Walt (her grandpa, who was driving and is still hospitalized for his heart), her parents Erin and Paul, and her little brother Chas who was uninjured. Their grief is going to be unbearable I am sure.
