Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

Things to do, things to do! Well, got to the point of just leaving the watermelon creation alone for now, so far have 3ml 50/50 juice w-8 drops flavor only per ml. Not enough to me, but wife says she can taste pretty good. ??? Moved on to the IGO-L rba. Hooked up the "extra" wick/wire I took off the previous mod, but MVP wouldn't see it.??? Not at all. Post on Igo is flush w/bottom, and just wasn't making contact. Well that was discovered only AFTER making about 4 seriously great coils that didn't work! After the LAST perfect coil of 28g w/10-9 wrap, 1/8" coils I KNEW I was making a heating element, not a coil! FINALLY got it up to 2.5 ohms. I ONLY realized no contact at this point. I KNOW this thing fires down to .8 ohms, I've done it before! It kept sayin, NON. I KNEW those coils should be fine & I tested w/simpson 360, on old but quality volt/ohm meter. They would not fire at all. Finally tried on Rethas Ego stick, fired fine, well almost fired I should say, that's alot of coil for those little things, but just testing anyway. yep, I found the ONLY problem area on these things, the dreaded short post problem on MVP (thread well too deep). Didn't want to go picking around on that contact head, so found an old Oring that fit inside the connector and wadded up some wire solder (soft lead), dropped it in the center & SNUCK up on it with the IGO....CONTACT!!!! Good grief!!! I had to use a face shield to keep from gettin sunburned!!! Fry a bucket of chicken with that stove!!! I had the vendor "drill" the standard air hole from 1mm out to a 5/64" for which he charged me a coupla bucks, sure wish I'da left it alone now...this thing is like a blow torch!!! haahaaaahaaaa It's not a vaper, it's a sauna! Gotta slow this thing Waaaaayy down to get any good out of it..... Everything I had learned about ohms law was just NOT working until I found the "open".................I KNEW them dang coils was good!!!!!

Man this this Christmas has been like one I haven't had in a LONG, LONG time. Retha & I are well on our way to not smoking anymore which all by itself is such a fine gift. But all these "toys" have left me in a childhood like state, and I've enjoyed it so much. This stuff is kinda like an advanced mechanical erector set, a home chemistry kit, a hobby shop electronics, with internet forums for questions/answers, vendors with cutthroat pricing, and more ideas than you can shake a stick at. After all the meals & leftovers are eaten, the trash burned and all these toys put on the shelf, and we come back to earth, Retha is sittin in her recliner smokin her clearomizer & ego, and me? yeah, my MVP with another clearomizer is pretty much all we really need??!!!! haaahaaahaaahaa. But I've got the been there done that badge & tee shirt by now and most anything else is pretty much a repeat, so hey, I'm READY in case a crisis or challenge comes my way Jack!

Been there, done that badge and t-shirt, eh?

Have you read the book and seen the movie? Or is that for tomorrow?

Indeed, it's as much or as little hobby as we practitioners care to make it. Good to know how to build coils, mix, and understand how the parts work to make a vape. That experience helps to troubleshoot the gear, which will need that along with regular maintenance. But in the end, it's the vape - and being a non-smoker.

Great to hear from you Jewells and glad all is well.
Welcome to the thread JCT and glad to see you and your wife are having success with your vaping adventure. Menthol is also my main vape in fact about my only flavor most days.:)

Well hidy ya'll again! Looks like I've saved my best for last, accidently. Just checked the mailbox and found a last little goodie that more than likely will be the most used one of em all. It's called a V3. A small little stainless rba dripper about exactly the same size of a clearomizer. Nothing against those others, but they are kinda big & heavy on top of the MVP. Of course they work very well and I've no complaints, but more than I need, likely. This one is just about the right size. It appears that the "drip" will go exactly onto the top of the single coil (COULD make a double coil I guess, but I've no interest in that......yet....) and the wick "catches" the extra as opposed to soaking a bunch of wick. I expect it to just be more efficent, as I sure don't have the suck power to even warm those others up good, for now. But I am glad to say I have noticed much improved breathing the last few days, meaning I haven't had to use the inhaler at all for 2 days now....yay! Just immediate results almost! Thank the LORD for that! I'll let you know how the vape of the V3 goes when I get there...

Oh yes I see the concern. Please let me explain. I used a small oring as a donut (insulator) on top of the post (inside the cavity). Then, I took a small wad of solder, about the size of the hole in the center of the oring. Sized to diameter & height wise and fitted it in the "donut" hole, which of course placed the point of +contact on top of the battery post which is of course the usual contact, and it was well insulated from the sides of the inside (the -side) of the cavity by the thickness of the oring. The flat pin connector on the rba contact pressing down from the top as it is screwed down serves to "capture" the wad, and by tightening the rba enough/carefully that piece of solder ain't goin anywhere. Great that you noticed and it proves you understand it too....but it is only used for the IGO-L which has a flat mating +pin. Otherwise it is not used at all. I think it should be a pretty safe work around and better than poking around moving the battery mounting, for me anyway. The concern of course is if it comes loose thus "grounding out", but I don't see how it could move, it is captured pretty securely I think/hope.....I'll be watchin real real close anyway too.

So those big clouds coming from the east coast aren't from the fireworks???

We'll hide out at home, no reason to brave the drunk drivers. Maybe watch the Times Square ball drop at 9 our time, set the DVR to catch the Seattle Space Needle show, and call it a day. Night. Year.

Meet Me in St Louie Louie
As we turn the page tonight and enter 2014, I'd like to offer up a thanks to all of you here .. another year passes into the books .. when I was young, the New Millenium seemed so far into the future, sometimes as a boy I would wonder what it would be like in the year 2000 and beyond, yet here we are .. and to use an old saying .. "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times" ..

So tonight, raise a glass, and know that I hope 2014 is a great year for all ..

I'm posting a couple In Memoriam Videos .. and in addition to those that are in these clips, I'd like to add the Brave Men and Women who gave the ultimate sacrifice .. whether it be the Military or the First Responders .. and please feel free to think back on any loved one you've lost as well ..
