Rave - Blues -- I try to keep up with the political turmoil... To much - it seems to go up and down all the time. All I want is enough heads up to buy a 2 year supply before the enact anything. Political movements in the US normally move slow enough that I should have time to buy a liter of nic before the decision takes effect. A liter would easily last me 2 years and then when I get close to a supply shortfall I will decide - vape or not vape...

I like your plan, Semiretired. I have to learn to DIY. I can follow someone else's recipe step by step, and mine tastes like something that came out of the litter box.

I wonder. You DIY and nicquid folks. I buy Totally Wicked concentrate and mix it with base PG/VG/nic. That, by the way, I can do. It's really hard to mess that up - even for me. Do you think I can freeze the concentrate? It is PG based.

Hi, all! I'm still swamped with business and taxes. Just wanted to drop in and say "Hi".

I was also going to let you know that my 12th grandchild was in the process of being born in Tennessee. In the middle of posting this, my daughter called to tell me that she had delivered the baby less than 10 minutes ago! Her name is Millie, 7 lbs., 14 oz. I'm so excited, wish I could be there...

Introducing Millie Taylor Jordan, less than 3 hours old in this pic.

For you guys that are 55+, I am trying to get my neighbor to quit smoking so I decided to get him a disposable ecig to try out vaping, what strength do you reccomend if he is a 1.5-2 PAD smoker, Hes a Harley Guy and hes in his late 50's. Im sure he started at a young age, but I was wondering what STRENGTH of nicotine I should get him, Medium or High? Thank You!

I'd go 18 - 24mg (High) because frankly, if he wants to quit, he'll probably need that high of a strength to get past the cravings. It will take a bit of getting used to because the lungs don't react to vape the same way they do to smoke. He will probably cough but encourage him to keep trying. Are you a vaper yourself?

I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I own that - although I got the one with the gold rose inlay (same price). It's a workhorse and very nice. In the photo, I'm using a GoGo dual coil carto on an adapter, and a drip tip that I made for it.

Don't forget to stroke it softly and call it your precioussssssss as was earlier discussed ;)

Which blueberry do you use? I've never found one I liked.

I'm using the Good Prophets that I just got during the sale? It was born in January so it's had steeping time, which means I know it at least gets to the mouthwateringly amazing taste I'm getting - not sure if it's that way freshly mixed. It tastes like the blueberries & syrup at the bottom of a yogurt cup, or in one of the fruit & cottage cheese singles.

I have a dilemma. I feel like (for some unknown reason) that I should try to stay current with the political/social/legal workings pertaining to vaping (i.e. e-cigarettes). However, when I begin reading a thread on the subject, my head begins to spin. I never finish the thread, let alone all the links to documents they provide. Does anyone else do this?

Yes, I'm the same way. Currently I'm banging my head (softly) against the wall over the whole change here on the forums from the term MOD to APV which is getting, well, nasty in certain cases!

You are correct, rave. Dogs want to do something. And not just to entertain us. Those who just have a pet are missing the joys of canine behavior. Sit, lie down, fetch, roll over, shake, etc. are all nice, but there's more.

Contribute is a good word. Dogs are not meant to be pets or owned. They are intelligent and can learn to do many useful things for themselves. Teaching Lexi to find you and do something to save your life is important to you, but it is really important to Lexi. And dogs like to work.

Good job, rave.

I'm sure she is SO helpful (when she's not being a window seat filling cutie muffin! I miss the dog an employee of ours had at Borders. Her name was Promise and when she was on the sales floor - she was working. As soon as she got in the elevator she was the store pet, lol! Anna Marie, her owner, was totally deaf and had severe tunnel vision so Promise helped her out - even helped her when she'd drop a book, or one fell when she was shelving and didn't see where it fell, or even notice that it had fallen. Promise was a wonderful dog. She retired in 2008 and became Anna Marie's pet and Liberty became her new service dog. I never met Liberty, but I was sad when I found out that Promise had gone over the rainbow bridge in 2010 - service was her life, I'm sure even when she "retired" she still helped around the house and gave Anna Marie a lot of comfort - apparently the new dog wasn't really friendly, even to her - which sometimes is necessary - but not in her case :(

I'm with you. Soon as my gallon of PG gets here, I'll have a little over 800ml stocked in that I've successfully cut our nic down to 12mg. I've ordered more flavoring and 100mg nicquid....going to check out FA DS flavoring to see if I can get closer to DS.

Good googly moogly - In case anyone else wants to stock up (and cheap) you can get 240 ml bottles of 36mg VG or PG at Good Prophets for $18.99. They also have the plain stuff for mixing but not sure how it stacks up in price @ 480ml of VG for $18 or 240 of either for $9

I wonder. You DIY and nicquid folks. I buy Totally Wicked concentrate and mix it with base PG/VG/nic. That, by the way, I can do. It's really hard to mess that up - even for me. Do you think I can freeze the concentrate? It is PG based.

TW has been out of ALL pure nicquid for at least 3 months - as long as I've been trying to get it. Apparently it's been longer than that based on complaints I've seen here and there. They do have one 36mg unflavored in a base, but that's it - it's listed as the Herculian and is listed for $8 for 10 ml and says, "try the 10ml before you buy the 500 ml" I can't even find a listing for the 500 - but for 10x10ml the price is $70 so who knows?

I got my 30ml bottle of Malty Toffee today.....it is really good! I filled a clearomizer, but going to try and force myself to let it steep for a few days. I ordered 12mg instead of the 18mg I have been using....I'm kind of excited that the 12 seems fine to me. Gonna start ordering 12mg in the new stuff I get. Getting down to 6mg eventually would be great, but I think I could live with 12mg for a while and not feel too bad.

28 days with no cigs today!!

Hey....does anyone use a Buzz Pro or an Infinity Pro? I'm really wanting to try a variable voltage setup. I know I probably don't really need it, but I'm kind of a toy freak....lol. The Provari Mini looks awesome, but I don't really have that kind of $$ right now. (The computer geek in me really likes that microprocessor control thing tho. ) I'm really telling myself I need a reward for going 4 weeks with no cigs after 40+ years of smoking. I'm also a behavior consultant, so feel the need to reinforce myself.
