Being the wife of a letter carrier for USPS, I can tell you how much the carriers and families appreciate their customers' gratitude. Home baked cookies, breads, cakes, it's wonderful how excited my hubby gets to know he's done a good job all year, and he really does!
My Daughter is also a letter carrier for USPS out in the wind and cold every day. She likes it when she gets goodies or a card of thanks. The carriers do have a hard job, heat, cold wind and dog bits.

Ya...i appreciate most of our letter carriers, but...and I know this is bad, our regular carrier? It tickles me when he has to get out of his car! Any package I've ever gotten he throws...underhand like he's bowling across the porch. Not cool...especially when it's something fragile. I've had them thrown so hard they hit the storm door and sound like someone just shot someone! I don't reward behavior like that :)
We have another...sooooo sweet that takes extra care with everything and is so sweet. Hardly ever see her though.

I agree that carrier is not doing his job. Maybe you should call the post office and talk to a supervisor, and let them know whats going on because that is not right, maybe then he will straighten his act.

I've never been one to complain about things believe it or not...I'd have to get something broken and know for a fact it was his fault before I did something like that. My mom was very....um....outgoing, and opinionated, and I spent most of my childhood and young adult life embarrassed, so I went faaaar the other way ;) Even my sister who is a real giver and a sweetheart thinks I'm a pushover. But that's ok...what would the world be like if everyone was the same...or like my mom?

The bad thing is that carrier gives the other carriers and the Post Office a bad name. I know where you are coming from I won't complain unless it is very wrong. I do find as I get older I will not put up with as much as I did when younger. Some people will take advantage of you just because they know they can.

Today is the day I will discover the outcome of my labor and everyone's excellent coaching and patience. The coffee extract awaits. No, I haven't checked on it. Right now I'm pouring cupfuls of coffee into my system along with nicotine infused vapor. The animals are content now (man, they're alot of work).

I think my plan is to taste test the extract on a freshly cleaned atty. If all went well, I will bottle it. Otherwise, I'll try to figure out what a did wrong and edit my process. Or I'll just beg someone to share theirs with Bluesman.

rave, did you decide to try this?

We were all up late last night (1:30am for me - writing a paper) - so at least for myself I slept in until 7am. Just got my emails out of the way, working on my coffee and then will be headed to my renovation project to work on putting up more trim today. I am hoping that in about 3 weeks I can start moving furniture...

That is wonderful to know. We moved several months ago into a condo community with centrally located mailboxes. My mailman has dropped off my mail on numerous occasions to my house and we certainly appreciate him. We DID remember him at Christmas. :)

Morning Blues. Kinda quiet this morning, isn't it?

I sampled mine yesterday which to my surprise was actually quite good even without the nic. Good luck on yours.

What strength did you sample it at - straight or mixed? So are you ready to make the next big step and add your nic?

Morning Semi sounds like you've been busy and going to get worse.

I tested the same as before... 6 drops extract and 22drops PG. Actually I think I could probably use without the nic because it was that good.

Since I'm packing up things to ship to the mainland, I tossed the extract in the nic at 50/50 just to get it steeping.
