Omega help needed

Hello,
just got my new omega from altsmoke, and I have a problem. I will call tomorrow, but ireally want to use it tonight so if anyone knows how to fix it please let me know.
It is the 1.1 version.
when I put the battery in, and then screw on the lid/top of tube. the battery won't turn off. the cartomizer always burning, can hear it.
I messed about with the spring, perhaps it is too strong?
there is a nut in the top but don't know if i should mess with it.

anyone who can help? i would really appreciate it-- thanks

Is the Delrin washer present? There should be a plastic washer inside of the lid allowing only the metal pin to stick through. I know mine has fallen out before and the device fires continuously if its not there. If you don't see it, then either it shipped without one or it has fallen out. If that washer is present, then I have no idea why it would fire.

thanks, no. there isn'ta washer. It is plastic? that must be the problem. I'll go to a hardware store. thanks!

Yes, it is Delrin - black plastic. It fills up the inside of the cap and only has a hole the size of the firing pin.

Did you contact Altsmoke today? They should send you a replacement. I'd also look around where you were when you put in the battery. It may have fallen out and rolled under some furniture.
