You are really not going to get a who wins between these two because one is a dripping RDA and favors drippers. The other is a Gene. style RTA and favors those who only use Gene. style tank atties.

These are two totally different RBA's,one is a dripping RDA(rebuildable dripping atomiser) and is a sylica wick device. The other is a Genesis RTA(rebuildable tank atomiser)that uses a SS mesh wick.

You should not look at it as which one would come out on top but which one is best for you and will keep you off cigarettes. If you prefer direct dripping i would say get the Omega,if you would prefer something with a tank system without having to fill the juice very often, the Origen.

I believe the op is referring to the Origen Dripper (RDA). I have this RDA and love but can't compare as I don't own a Omega.

TBH its personal preference. I've heard nothing but good things about both attys but I've only got to mess around with the Omega. Hopefully today I get to see the Origen because my buddy is supposed to pick it up later.

Omega Positives:
1. LARGE screw heads. Big plus for me specifically because I build on the posts rather than holes. So I love the large screw heads on the Omega.
2. AFC is actually pretty good. The holes are 7/64 wide open. My drippers have 7/64 holes on them (before I had /32) so it's nice to see AFC that goes a little bigger than 3/32. Oh yeah, you also get the choice of doing dual and single air holes which is nice.
3. Deep drip well, 'nuff said about that.
4. 22mm base (same with the Origen) so it'll sit flush on most mods.

Negatives:
1. Holes are off to the side. This is the biggest (and only) issue for me. I'm always doing center post builds and my holes are directly in front of the coils. I naturally build center post on the Omega so it doesn't perform as well since the holes aren't in front of it.
2. No post holes. If you're not used to building on the posts rather than holes, it MIGHT be difficult to get used to. I say might because the large screw heads make up for not having post holes and it also makes building easier.
3. Not much room to work with. Because of the AFC and the deep well you don't have much room to work with vertically.

From what I've seen on the Origen, there aren't that many down sides to it.

I BELIEVE the biggest air holes on the Origen are 1.8mm, the Omega is 3mm. Juice wells are deep and can fit 20+ drops (so I've been told). I've seen some horizontal coil builds and a lot of people are liking it more than the vertical builds. The main downside that I've seen about the origen is the fact that it uses an allen key for the negative posts rather than the usual Phillips.

Hopefully my little input has helped. TBH I think I'd rather go with the Origen even though I've never actually had one in my hands.

I havent used either but as an outsider looking in, it seems like the Origen has more features than the Omega. If I were to pick I would probably go with the Origen

how so?

i'de say the Omega has the advantage, larger infinitely adjustable air-holes, and less parts to get lost .

+ if screws get lost, they are of a more standard type and easily replaced....

They bot essentially do the same thing, but the simplicity of design, i see as an advantage.

I was looking for a dripper that had a bit of a well that could hold about 20 drop and Origen is the only one that I could find that has a well. Yes I know they are "drippers" but I wanted it to be able to hold a bit of juice. I would get one if I could find one.

I have it and it does not hold 20 drops. I use cotton wicks, and each well holds about 6 drops each. Not much difference compared to the omega or patriot.

If you build the Origen with vertical coils, and have just enough cotton puff wick (or in my case Hemp fiber) to lay down in the wells a bit you can get 20 drops in there… don't see any reason to stuff the wells with wick.

Haven't tried the Omega, but what stands out for me with Origen is the flavor… most dual coil / air hole drippers something gets lost in flavor dept. although vapor is huge…

I came looking for a thread to praise the Origen for its flavor… its like toking on a huge-... cigar … that tastes so damn good. That's the kind of satisfaction i get out of it… and with lots of juice it just keeps on keepin on.

I would say the Omega I get 20 drops in it with XC-116 and large air holes if you need them no need to drill anything. Placement of the holes really are right by the coils no problem. The deep wells on the Origen are nice too wish the air holes worked the same as the Omega and not the little holes. I think you can't go wrong with either one.
