Hi all I'm a new member. Help is requested.

I have a omega 3.7 volt system
When using 510 addy works great.
Decided to try the low res duel coil tank system. It seems at 3.7 volts the duel coils do not heat up quickly or enough for me.
Are all duel coil cartos voltage sensitive.
I can't seen to find single coil tank addy's

Do I need to go to 6 volts. I can use two 3 volts in the omega

I happen to have 2 3.7 and I use them but it is way to harsh and I'm sure even the duel coil will burn out quickly at 7.4 volts.

Open to suggestions. Thanks in advance

Tony, no you do not have a bad batch. It's not the fault of the Omega either, but rather due to your batteries and in the make up of the dual coil that the problem lies.

For it to fire up both the coils at full capacity, it needs to put out an AMP rating that is much higher than your batteries can deliver, namely around 2.8 - 3AMPS. It will work, but just not "that" well. I'm in the same boat as you. I can use my dual coils at 3.7 but they just do not deliver.

The low res dual coils are great at 6v, but a bit too much to use all day for me. I need somewhere between 4.5 - 5v for dual coils.

Hope this helps.

That DCC works pretty well in the 4.2-4.5 range. Gotta remember that those are 3ohm coils in a 1.5ohm carto you are trying to heat up.
If you got one of the new 2.5ohm DCT kits, they are 5ohm coils that you are trying to make work at 3.7v. (about like trying to heat your house with a cigarette lighter)

Put one of these in that tank

Thanks. So have you found a tank system that will work. I like to drip on the 510. But I ride a motorcycle and as you can guess dripping is not an option I do have the totally wicked cartomizers but they don't feed consistantally.

I use bottom feeders when I'm on the move.. Reo Grand and Vapage VMod XL. You can use either with your atties, and not worry about tanks, period!!
