Ok so yesterday I unscrewed the bottle to refill! When I screwed it back in, the o ring somehow wedged itself halfway inside the bottle so I unscrewed the bottle to attempt to realign the o ring! After several hours of fiddling with it nothing I did fixed it properly. So I had the brilliant Idea of removing the cap from the tube! Bad bad bad idea! Now I have two problems, can't get the o ring in the cap right nor can I figure out how to put the cap back on the tube! Any advise would be appreciated!

Here's a thread to get you started: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/162566-o-ring.html

Put part of the o-ring in the groove in the cap. Now put the other side of the o-ring in the cap. You might have to use something small not sharp though to help. Once it is in place, screw the bottle in and the oring should pop back into place.

Thanks for the link! I tried sorts of different things to seat the o ring properly! Tooth pick, needle nose pliers, ball point pen, paper clip, etc! No luck so far! I can get it almost right. Mostly it will bend and a part will end up in the very top of the cap! I can't figure out how to get it seated right! Once I thought I got it right then when I screwed the bottle in, part of the o ring pushed into the bottle itself!

You don't have to get it in completely even. Getting it seated part way and then screwing the bottle in is usually sufficient, but not if it is pushing into the bottle. Some juices make o-rings expand. You can rinse it well with hot water and let it dry (or use a hair dryer to dry it), and it will shrink back.

Excellent idea!!! I was thinking that may be the problem but didn't know how to shrink it back to size! I predominately vape VB cinnabomb and thought perhaps the oils in the juice are making the o ring swell! Idk if this is correct or not though!

I use VB Fire n Ice myself. I haven't personally noticed an expanding o-ring, BUT it is pretty well seated at this point.

Fire and ice is yummy stuff! I can't enjoy as much I would like since it makes my tongue swell a bit! Idk I think it's the menthol in it! My fav right now is VB coffee with sugar and cream mixed with cinnabomb! Tasty tasty!

Right now i have the o ring seated at between the cap and the bottle! Not the correct position I know but I'm so frustrated with trying to get it in the right position. I think if I set it down a while and come back to it later my luck may change. I'll try cleaning it and letting it dry. Hopefully that helps! Thanks for the advice!

As long as it's in there and you can squonk without leaking, you're fine. It doesn't have to be completely straight and even to work.

Yeah, it's 4 am your time. You have probably looked at it too long. :)

Haha yes it's 4am here in California! I'm a night owl and work nights! I'm surprised anyone even posted given the hour! But i guess it's not all that early in Kentucky!

So far it's not leaking but only it's been about an hour! It's not in the cap at right now! I just placed it over the threads of the bottle and screwed it in! Tightened it a bit so it wouldn't leak! If i find it does not leak, I'll just keep it in this position! But given the rob is a genius, im guessing the optimal position is in the cap!

Sounds like a plan. It's 7:30 am here, off to a new day. LOL, I guessed you might be working. Figured that if you were at the end of a long night of partying and attempting to reseat an o-ring, the o-ring would be long gone by now.

Haha! No not partying tonight! I don't think i would even try to unscrew my carto much less try to reseat my o ring if i had been partying! Not working tonight but i keep the same schedule when I'm off! It's too hard to switch my sleep/wake schedule! I work 12 hour night shifts!

had same problem with o ring, I ordered a whole bunch of o rings and 3ml bottles. I put o rings underneath the screw part on the bottle and never have had a leak. Works great now I have all my bottles ready to go with o ring under threads on bottle.

Yeah that's how I have it now and so far no leaks! I'm not going to bother with the frustration of trying to get it in the cap as long as this is working!
