Ive been refilling cartomizers for some time now, and have made a surprising discovery:

Initially I did it by removing the white cap, the internal rubber divider, and then dripping/rotating all the way around.

it occured to me just the other day that the juice might actually be *blocking* the juice...if that makes any sense (the reason that the straw mod exists for 901/510)

SO; to make a long story short... I started filling only one side of the cartomizer, and leaving the unfilled side up (to vent air) and when it appears to be gettin close to full, i roatate it and put a drop or so on the dry part (which is almost already filled from filling other sides).

Doing this allows me to get closer to 14 drops in a cart ive vaped virtually dry but not burnt...and wow was i amazed. Apparently the carts got "vapor locked" (LOL pun semi-intended) by air trying to get out past a pool of juice trying to get in...and dripping on one side allows the juice to get to the bottom then fill to the top, instead of filling the top and then having your cartomizer *act* full where fullness isnt actually occuring.

Try this on one and see if you don't agree.

I just knew an empty cartomizer held more than like 6-8 drops of juice haha.

There's no need to actually mod the cartomizer, the batting makes an effective vent so long as you keep one side up till almost full. Tilting the cartomizer roughly 45 degrees seems to work best while filling..

Yes, thanks kc! As you know, I need all the cart refilling tips I can get. :) Will definitely try this. However, even tho I've ordered several bottles of juice in my last order, once I truly get a feel for how long a cart actually lasts during the day (instead of changing flavors just because they taste to darn good!), I just may take the easy way out one day and go strictly cartomizers.

I have a complicated system but it keeps things interesting. Started out as a way to not burn carts and at least that part works.

At my desk, (now), 1 passtrough with Mint, 1 VK with Chocolate

In my pocket, 1 VK with Cappuccino, (pretty much always with me wherever I go but the flavors change).

In my van, 1 passthrough currently with with ice cream and one VK in a case with 555 as a backup

I have carts and chargers and passthrouhs all over so I'm never without, and I change flavors frequently to keep the carts cool without having to change the cart.

Actually I ordered mutiple starter kits planning on giving one to a friend but decided to keep it for myself when he orderd his own so I'm covered!!

Yeah, I decided to pull out the stops and get a webcam worthy of the task, primarily because I enjoied doing it. Back at the dawn of time i used to use screen capture software and a mic and do demos of how to beat computer games and what not, but this was prior to youtube. I never even considered doing live action videos till your contest. Getting something a little more user friendly than my old setup seemed logical, and now im studying up on everything i can learn about the cam before it gets here, in the hope's i'll be ready lol.

Needless to say, the video quality will be improved, and I'll be taking requests.
