sure i can elaborate. flavor is much better, wicking is superb...at least or me. cleaning is a breeze. absolutely no leaking or gurgling whatsoever. doesn't gunk up as fast(ive had to clean it half as much using the same juice as i have used in a fluxo). wick is twice as thick so it is not as fragile. these are made by royal smoker's, the same people that make the fluxo. this is like a deluxe version of a fluxo.

and best of all its fill and vape... there is little to no fiddling whatsoever with these.

i cannot get the taste out of a fluxo that i can out of these....period!!! i have 10 boxes of fluxos that ill never use. there is no stretching of the truth. this is truth. they wick better, more taste. ive also noticed that the small ceramic cup in a fluxo limits airflow way way too much, the more air around a coil the better it works(not talking bout draw here). there is no cup in the sd.

Thanks! Now all I need is that email saying they are back in stock. :glare: ;) If you don't want those fluxos I'll take them off your hands. :)

IMHO, when a fluxo is working perfectly, I don't think there's that much difference in flavor, vapor, etc. However, the key word here is "when" the fluxo is working perfectly. As everyone knows, they can be fiddly, leaky and generally high maintenance. (I've been using both SD and fluxos simultaneously, trying to use up the fluxos and nice to carry different flavors around.) Since the SD is hassle free in terms of filling and more consistent in terms of and quality vape, I think they win hands down. (However, I do think fluxos are a lot easier to clean.)

One of the best things in the design of the SD is since the coil itself is recessed well below the silicon seal and topped with a metal washer/cap, you never have to worry about getting any chemical or burnt rubber/silicon taste. This to me is so ingenious that I hope all other top coil manufacturers take note and duplicate!

You should be able to see the coil. I show my cleaning process, in my video review. Take a look.

Vision eGo Stardust Review - YouTube

Thanks LordDavon. I didn't fancy pulling the white stopper up but followed your washing advice. After washing I decided to be less timid with the dry burning than I was before. I dry burned for 6 secs then waited 6 secs. It took about 10 dry burns before smoke emerged and a few dry burns later I could see the coil glowing down the centre of the white stopper. Unlike last time, the carto was vaping like new after only a few primer puffs. I've since did this with a second carto with the same positive result. Easy peasy.

Excellent! Glad I could help. I got a lot of positive feedback from people doing it with and without the cap cup pulled. As with everything, it is all about what works for you. These Stardusts are just simple, little joys.

Man, I love the stardust....my absolute favorite carto...but theres no way I could justify paying 7.95 for one. Even at 5.95 it's a little steep for a carto....especially since there's Nother vendor that sells it for $4.95ea. Gotvapes is without a doubt my favorite place to go for hardware, just difficult when it is $3 more a carto then other sites for the identical thing. I'm getting blasted on my YouTube review by people PMing and leaving comments that "it's NOT the price you said it's $2 more" blah blah blah LoL

Agree completely. You always have to shop around because I found them for much cheaper elsewhere

they arent in stock so what your seeing is just a price for them and not the price they will be selling for, tell your video people to relax, lolol

and honestly these prices are cheap even for a single carto, especially when they work and others are charging double for ego-t's and other cartos that dont work as well, if a 5 to 10 dollar carto lasts you weeks it reduces the prices to less then a dollar a day and thats way way cheaper the cigarettes even when you add in juice.

The Stardust (brought to you by our wonderful friends at Gotvapes.com)is a new innovation. It far surpasses any previous carto of it's kind. You have to keep in mind the costs of design, planning, initial purchase for retail, international shipping, time and expense of promotion on site. All so it can even be available to us.
I would pay twice the current price for it (no ideas badkolo please). The old adage remains true "You get what you pay for",and this is oh so true with both the Stardust and the Gotvapes team!..I love'm both..just my opinion.

thats nice of you eso but we didnt design the stardust, we did however help improve the final version we sold.

there are a few factories making them and they are not all equal, some simply dont work well and wont bother improving them so we stood away form those 2 other places, the one we deal with has improved them form the orginal version and thats what we have been selling.

we also helped in getting them in a new lower ohm for 2 ohm options which we will have once china resumes.

Thank you Bad for the clarification, but I was referring to the original design processes etc..it all takes the coin to turn dat wheel...

There's also a little thing called supply and demand. There's obviously a demand and supply (right now) is almost nonexistent. Someone pointed me to google CE4+ but the only thing I found was a site in China, which admittedly sold them very low, but with a minimum order of 500 units... and they're sold out too!

(Moar supply please...!)

We are going to try to maintain these at $5.95. You may have one vendor who has these and they have it priced at 4.95 but we can't try to match the lowest price on everything that comes out. Wiht GV you do receive a 5% VIP discount, reasonable shipping and we have a host of other product you can order at the same time with one shipping cost. If you go to Kroger's you may find a few things cheaper than a competitor or more expensive but you aren't there shopping for one product.

Each individual consumer has to decide overall what is best for them at any moment...although I appreciate your concerns I am not crazy about bringing up one vendor who has these a buck cheaper and making a big deal over that. We have soem vendors who priced things ignorantly and they soon sell out, so it is too, also supply and demand. Its not good form to go into a forum and mention comparison pricing results : ) ... not basically over a buck and like I said we had these at $5.95 and will try to keep them there but to be honest the pricing on these is VERY expensive, not like a Flux, etc - if you are concerned PM us is the best way to go!
