And really it isn't fair to try to expect people not to make a profit. It IS a business. And yes, sometimes people price things as a loss leader, because they know once you are in the door, or looking at an order and shipping costs you are probably going to throw something else in the cart that isn't a loss leader.

Also, there really is a forum for people to do a shout out for awesome deals... ;)

Everything in its place, and a place for everything :)

We are going to try to maintain these at $5.95. You may have one vendor who has these and they have it priced at 4.95 but we can't try to match the lowest price on everything that comes out. Wiht GV you do receive a 5% VIP discount, reasonable shipping and we have a host of other product you can order at the same time with one shipping cost. If you go to Kroger's you may find a few things cheaper than a competitor or more expensive but you aren't there shopping for one product.

Each individual consumer has to decide overall what is best for them at any moment...although I appreciate your concerns I am not crazy about bringing up one vendor who has these a buck cheaper and making a big deal over that. We have soem vendors who priced things ignorantly and they soon sell out, so it is too, also supply and demand. Its not good form to go into a forum and mention comparison pricing results : ) ... not basically over a buck and like I said we had these at $5.95 and will try to keep them there but to be honest the pricing on these is VERY expensive, not like a Flux, etc - if you are concerned PM us is the best way to go!

Well said. I do agree that people should not be putting comparison price results especially on a vendor's sub forum.

However with that said I hope I'm not out of line when I ask when you had these at 5.95? I saw them on the site for 7.95?

I personally wouldn't mind spending an extra dollar because as you said you have the 5 percent VIP discount and also I can order other things you carry. But if the price difference goes much higher than that then I would reconsider. However I still would not post these things in your forum. People should use their best judgement. Like any other purchase you can and should shop around.

I know you weren't asking me :) but when I placed my order on 12/30/2011 they were the 5.95, actually they were something with a discount price. but what I paid was the 5.95. maybe when they went out of stock the discount thingy popped off. Kind of moot till they get some more in, at which time I am sure they will fix it when they put the stock in :D

We intro priced them at 5.95 and they all sold out at that so then the price reverted to 7.95 after a bit but when we get them back in stock we are definitely going to try to keep them at 5.95 or as low as possible.

This is one of those products that for what we pay for it, should honestly be marked up to around 7.95 but we didn't want to be too far out of line with someone else so we marked it up to where it would even make sense for us to have them. When you get your discount it actually comes down to 5.55 each...

I really don't mind paying up for a good product. I think $5.95 is a good deal (5% with signing up for the newsletter!). I'd like to see discounts for bulk orders of 5 or 10. Again, compare it to a pack of cigs -- and Stardusts last much longer than a pack. Still, as I said, supply and demand! If demand is strong (and it looks like it is), supplies will go up and eventually price will go down (especially if more and more carry it). We just are spoiled with 5 packs for $10 for the CE2s.

Considering the time I had to spend fiddling to make a standard ce2 work, how often I had to clean them, how often I scorched through the wicks trying to fill them. And the infernal and incessant leaking wasting juice, making messes, and generally irking the hades out of me (in retrospect I mean, because they were light years ahead if attys and fillered cartos) they just didn't turn out to be that cost effective to me. Heckfire, I have a couple of visions I've been using since I think september that are still in good shape. I don't have a single ce2 that can boast that.

Granted, there are people not getting that kind of life expectancy out of the pricier products. And I think especially if you started out with these "cheaper" options, then this is a bit of sticker shock. But compared to the ridiculously high priced and short lived attys I started out with this feels really nice.

I'm waiting patiently for these babies to get here...and would happily pay 10 bucks a piece for um, I compare all money spent on vape supplies to a $12 two analog pack a day habit that's now history, I'm saving gobs of money despite all the vape items purchased that didn't work for me.

I like the look of the ones from Mountain Vapor, they don't have the black fill lines on the tank, not sure why those are even necessary on a tank like this, kinda messes up the aesthetic...JMO

One of my customers got me an iMac for Christmas. Now, I like Macs and all, but I never thought they had the greatest specs. This one is 27", i7 3.4Ghz, 16GB RAM, AMD HD6970 w/2GB, etc. I have to admit, it is awesome... and FREE! Free is great!

WHAT!? A customer bought you that? I JUST got mine, $2k for mine, i5 3.1ghz, with 4gb RAM and 1gb on the video. This begs the question, what do you do that your customers love you THAT much?

I'm a developer. I work with independent pharmacies. The company I work for provides the front end, back end and all systems needed to run a pharmacy. So, when you save a customer tens-of-thousands, they love to buy you gifts. They are rare to get, but awesome when they come.

Nevermind, asked and answered. Just to point something out, it's not exactly good form to tell everyone you got something for free that most can't afford to buy, or have to save months to get. Especially when jobs are so hard to find, kinda like the CEO bonuses. I've been unemployed for a long friggin time, and feel guilty about spending what I (wife) did for mine, but it was a birthday gift. Only reason we can afford it is my home is my avatar. :) Being a network admin/computer tech guy and out of the market so long, i'm not likely to get another decent job, so I guess I'm a little bitter.

I am happy for you and your success, at least someone has gainful employment and is doing very well. Sorry for the sour grapes sound, just a little jaded I guess.

BTW, these are awesome machines!

Actually they do have the black lines. Pic doesn't show it but they are the exact same as the ones from gotvapes

i tried this on an old 510 battery, much better with the draw, i filed down some of the outer threads on my older riva battery, that helped nicely too.

It's much better on the dongle as well. I think because it isn't going over threads which I suppose impeded air flow a bit, and also the dongle has more of a plate than a post.
