Probably needs a vent slot in the inner unslotted ring (the one that goes around the battery post not the skirt). I haven't figured out how to manage that.

I had to try it. A small tip on a Dremal tool and a steady hand works great. Curious, what voltage are you using on the vv.

Does 'works great' mean a steady hand w/ the Dremel works great or that enlarging the slot and the Stardust 'works great'.?

I meant the dremel, but the stardust also works better now. I should point out though, that I'm trying it on a 510 battery that the threads are shot. So if you try it, make sure you make a smooth cut not to effect the threads. That's another plus of the Stardust, as long as the cone threads are good, your good.

Depends. With the straight menthol mania I use...blue. When I cut it with vg (I do this to lower nicotine content for night time) I use...purple. But I am not a fan of terribly warm vapes, or harsh th. Yep, I am a freak. I CAN use red on straight menthol mania, but when it gets too high vg, red is too hot for the subsequent slower wicking. (And obviously I can't remember what the colors stand for, I am the same way with my other vv  )

Did slotting the inner ring help draw?

Hi all--I may have missed the answer to this question, but what is the best way to clean the Stardust? Mine has gotten a really tight draw and I'm sure it just needs to be cleaned. Any help is appreciated! :D

Posted this on its own thread but may as well link it here as well. Note that not everyone likes taking off the tank! May want to look at Lord Davon's video as well.

what ring are you talking about?

Here is a pic of what I did. Both rings need to be notched.

The thread ring. If you look up the skirt of the stardust you can see that unlike the vision minis where the threads are slotted, these are continuous. There must be I suppose, air holes like on the micro stretches and fluxos, that I just can't see, but on some batteries they appear to be insufficient to the impediments.

That would be my guess. All I know is, this makes a huge difference. I will try to find a smaller tip to make it a little neater. Perform at your own risk and be sure to rinse all the fillings away so it doesn't short out the battery.

I'm now finding these less than satisfactory with some of my 100% VG juices despite regular cleaning. More often than not I'm getting a burnt taste. I'm currently trying one of tmy juices diluted with distilled water (that's all I have to hand) and it vapes much better albeit with weaker flavour for obvious reasons. I think I'm going to have to revise my 100% VG preference. PG was making me hoarse but I never tried a mix.

While I'm on, has anyone else noticed the draw strength drop away after a juice top up? It's like I'm getting a strong draw with good hit and vapour production then immediately after I top up with juice it takes a minute or so of weak draws before I get it back up to strength. This happens even if I only half fill the tube.

adik this seems to be due to a vaccum effect... much like the visions. when the pressure stablizes in the tank the vapor production ramps up
My thoughts exactly! It's because it's pushing an excessive quantity of juice to the wick when you take it apart do the first few draws may be sort of flooded. Not like leaky flooded, but just to much juice to the wick
