Thanks nin & Chris.

I bought a couple of automatic joye ego batteries from Janty Europe for using with the stardusts. It's good not having to press the button but I'm finding the draw weaker compared to the manuals. Is this the norm?

Janty Europe - eGo AUTOMATIC BATTERY BLACK

Don't forget the primer puff with autos. Most of them need it.

Missed it by that much...I received an email notification from LiteCigUSA last night that the Vision/Stardust were back in stock, they found some while doing inventory...they sold them out in 10 minutes, next batch arrives in 2-3 weeks, grrrrrrrr.
If anyone would like to trade a few for a Lil Mama SS tank with carto's and hole punch included hit me up, a 45 dollar value.

The thread ring. If you look up the skirt of the stardust you can see that unlike the vision minis where the threads are slotted, these are continuous. There must be I suppose, air holes like on the micro stretches and fluxos, that I just can't see, but on some batteries they appear to be insufficient to the impediments.

what did you use to slot it?

To me the SD has a heavier draw and lighter vapor production than a CE-2, but then again, I mod all my CE-2s.

I guess this depends on how you modify the Fluxos...

I like fiddling for experimentation, but for everyday use I am too lazy for that. Cleaning is more than enough fiddling for me. The only mod I do on my Fluxos is the "ring-thing": get rid of the plugs, put the middle ring back on upside-down. And that only on the larger fluxos. Smaller ones don't need it most of the time.

So, that said, IMHO SD beats the Fluxos fairly significantly. More vapor, better draw (I like tighter draw, it makes me feel like I'm actually doing something; I used to smoke Capris for that same reason). And much better taste than anythings else - I think it matches dripping. And no modding required.

I did cut the cup seal down, but it wasn't necessary - in fact it caused flooding.

As far as I am concerned, SDs are perfect just the way they are. I still would like to know the logic behind the stub wicks though... Bad, can you answer that? Is there an advantage other than aesthetics? I suppose if I had a complaint about the SDs, it would be that I have to think about the position I hold them in - but that is really just a matter of habit.

Not that there are no improvements possible. I can think of a couple of things that would be neat to do...

Love, love, love my SDs. Can't wait for more to show up. I think I'll probably be vaping them almost exclusively, other than a couple of tanks like Stone and Grande.

yes the stubs is easy to explain

in a ce2 carto there is to much space inside even in a xl, so longer wick are needed, but if you where to cut the wicks off like a stardust and thicken the inner pole you would get a ce2 stardust persay.

now in a ce2 with wick cuts you can use ptb , thin stripped just enough to touch the wick and the will also work.

but to explain this better, the inner tube on the stradsut removes the space the juice needs to flow to wet the wick, longer wick would impede the juice getting to the coil are faster, i modded a stardust with long wick, and you can get dru hit here n there unlike the stardust with its own cut wicks.

titling the stardust in any angle sufficiently gets thise stubs wet which will keep the coil wet, and the wicks dont need to be dipped in the juice to work, once they are wet you get a few good drags out of that and then the tilting that happens when you vape thise drags rewets the wicks and since there isnt much room between the inner tube and wall the juice is forced to wet the wick.

Thanks, Bad, that makes a lot of sense. Now I know. :) And good engineering. I must say I was wondering why these things were actually wicking better then a lot of other stuff. I also noticed, after folks mentioned it, that you don't have to keep the wicks dipped all the time, it sorta happened naturally. After break-in, I never got a dry hit with them, even with the thick VG juice I use.

at the moment, for ego cartos, the stardust is the biggest hit in years, just snoop around the net and youll see the same reaction all over the world, whatever name people are selling there version under or oour stardust, they are the hottest things right now, youtube videos are popping up and people love them. ill look into getting darker tubes as well for those people that want a solid look to them color wise.we can have the outside painted silver or black and leave a small opening for juice view.

How about tinted ones? Can this kind of plastic have color?

we have a gaurentee with our factory to be first to ship, we bought more then needed to make sure of that and im having them ship the first 500 to 700 they make without waiting to ship the rest, once 500 to 700 are produced they will pump them over to us and then days later send out the rest of the 4000

oh thats nothing, korea ordered 50,ooo then sold out and ordered 150,ooo more

but remeber there is now a few factories making these, be warned, some suck, so if you here of people not liking theres make sure to ask where they got it, we tested the other factories versions except 1 and they simply SUCKED. we are dealing with the main factory that produced these and the same factory 2 other vendors are dealing with, these are the good ones, not trying to stear anyone away form buying form anywhere else, just be warned.

I'm still having trouble with my old 100% vg juices even though I bought some pg juices to mix with them. When I use the pg alone I get very little vapour and the stuff makes me hoarse into the bargain. Since I got my ego-c I can't find any of my old juices give me a decent throat hit unless they contain menthol in the description.

Can anyone recommend a menthol juice that's working well on the stardust and gives a strong throat hit and decent vapour (in fact any juice that gives that on the stardust). The only gotvapes juice I've tried is flux nectar 3 red (I think that's what it was called, sort of bubble gum with a hint of cinammon) and, while I was pleaed with the way the flavour shone through, I found the throat hit too tame.
