You guys have to try making one with doubled up wicks.

This discussion motivated me to make a lower ohm for the spousal units' eGo. It is incredibly good!

I am thinking about playing with my Grande... It has the dual cup slots... time for dual coils! ;-)

Then you would have been right at home with the "Big E2 Thread" and Bad's CE2 Rev"4" thread.

Back then everything was New. Technical Discussions Ruled the day because No One Really Understood what was going on Inside a CE2.

I remember when the Concept of the Dry Durn first Popped up. And Many Great Ideas were Discussed by people like BR, mwa and too many more to mention.

Wow! Flash back! That was a crazy thread. If you missed a half a day you would be lost trying to read and catch up. LOL I miss BR, I saw him peek in here a little while back.

LOL. They finally come up with CE2's that are fiddle free, and look at us. Just can't help ourselves can we!

Fiddle free??? Oh, come now. We find a way around every issue, surely we will find a way around that!

Ya know BSD, maybe it is a sickness. Finally, one to be proud of!

Yeah, that was a Great Time. I miss BR also. I hope he is well.

For those of you who might not know what we’re talking about, here are the Two Threads.

    http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...13951-e2-cartomizer-technical-discussion.html

    http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...kers-c-e2-r4-review-tips-info-help-video.html

The first one starts with the E2 rev”1” (what the CE2 was called Before it was the CE2.) and goes up to the CE2 Rev”3.75”.

The second goes from the CE2 Rev”4” till about the “New”, Frosty Tube CE2.

exactly all oyur ideas are watched then other are told to facotries, things are tried and what works stays, good times ahead.

Yeah, I like to think of the ECF as RS/MiT’s offsite Testing and Design Lab. ;)

Zoid, go here and click on your gauge wire and it should give you the specs on ohms per foot, it is where I get my Kanthal and find it to be the very best. = Resistance heating alloys and resistance alloys

Resistance on my 34AWG is 21.6920 per foot

    Thanks mwa.

I building a Mental Database of Ohms per Foot and Wire Gauge sizes for the Stardusts. Mine are in route.

So.. anyone try the Stardust with a 100% VG liquid yet?

Yup! It's harder to fill with 100% VG so you have to put a little in and then let it ooze down the side--too much or too quickly and it will cover up and leak down the center post. But once it's in, I think it wicks well and I haven't had any issues, though you may have to turn it upside down more to make sure it covers the wick when it gets under half full.

Awesome!! Good to know. Thanks!! I do want to vape some of my beloved VG juice again.. maybe in rotation with some PG/VG mixes it wont be as hard on the coils.

vapspaz--in a case like yours we wouldn't cry foul if you placed another order with 5. The five is/was a general max when we know demand is high in a very short period of time when some people may have not even gotten home from work yet. etc.

Wow! That is just plain crazy! That's like $1,275 an hour in sales! Holy crap. lol

I gotta admit that I was a little ...... when I could only order 5. The ones I did get are for myself, my wife and 3 other family members. I wanted one or two extra for the wife and I but after reading some folks disappointments and frustrations by missing them completely I'm not going ...... I'm thankful I checked in when I did and got just enough to cover my minimum.

I have a good hunch that Bad has learned from this one and will limit the order quantity next time around from the get go. From a customers stand point that really sucks but I think it's the right thing to do from a sellers point of view.

Initially I was thinking I would jump on them again when they show up but after seeing some folks still trying to get some for the very first time I'm going to hold off until a larger batch comes in. I HOPE the others that have them now or got some ordered this time around will follow suite and let others have a chance. It sucks but it's the right thing to do. As Bad said, there will be more to follow very shortly.

i have tried with 100%vg and i got so many dry hits i finally drained the thing. yes i know you can thin it down to make it work but..straight vg didnt work for me...at all. i tried "fluffing the wicks" and not screwing the mouth tip all the way in...also lifted the plastic cup but i either got dry hits or it gurgled and soon after i kept getting juice in my mouth.

yesterday i checked and there were 388 of them left but i didnt buy any since i vape primarily vg juices.

i dont mean to burst your bubble auntie but if your anything like me, these might not be everything you want them to be. they work fine with 70pg/30vg 'cept you still get some juice in your mouth every now n then.

Sorry to hear that! I've definitely been okay with 100% vg (Bobba's Bounty and some Rawr juice) so I guess experience may vary.
