I like the idea of a small dedicated freezer for nic stock too, it took me a minute to wrap my head around having to do the whole stock up thing but having a small freezer to keep it separate from food stuff was just a good idea. Locking is a great idea too so no one gets into it accidentally or otherwise, mine does not have a lock so I bought ammo cans that lock to put bottles in and store the freezer.

I'm having a hard time convincing SWMBO that I need my own dedicated medical freezer.

If it uses a 510 connection, it falls under the deeming regulations. Doesn't matter if it's an adapter, plate, dodad, thingamajiggy. The FDA has worded the deeming regulation to include e-cigarette parts. And anything that uses the threading found in a 510 connector is pretty much guaranteed to fall under that provision.

So, maybe it's time to stockpile some 510 connectors, along with the nic and mods, maybe a chip or Twelve, and some enclosures?

The ones I know of are OR, AR,Ohio, NY, and Maryland.
WA maybe.... It is if you live in or are buying from a prohibited state.
CC companies will deny your transaction.
edit: And I think Conn.

It took me a while to find the actually written law to review but I finally located it and New York states Law S08177 Related to unlawful shipment or transportation of cigarettes signed by the governor of NY 8/16/00 "bans the shipment of cigarettes sold via the internet to residents of NYS". It very clearly defines cigarettes and does not say "tobacco products" so we in NYS will NOT be a prohibited state as of 8/8/16. :) At least not until after they get around to amending the law.:(

CT is included in that list of no shipping tobacco products. However, e-cigs are not listed in the definition of tobacco products, yet. I expect that to change quickly. They've already met to discuss e-cigs in light of the deeming. We've got Blumenthal...nuff said.

Visited a website yesterday (can't remember which one) somewhere in NC. Was going to purchase some cotton and wire and at check out was told that a signature was required at time of delivery. I live in Mass. and haven't come across that yet until now. Didn't bother with the purchase.

I think that is the way all of the online vendors will have to go, this one is just getting ahead of the curve, it will likely get even more stringent with proof of age requirements. If it is an ENDS or component it requires proof of age.

Get used to it. More and more companies will, in all likelihood, follow suit. I'd much rather have to provide ID and sign on delivery than provide a copy of my license or other form of ID and send it in to the company.

When the original IBM PC was introduced in 1981, quite a few reviewers panned it for using a proprietary bus.

Needless to say, that bus didn't remain proprietary for very long.

True, but the IBM PC wasn't creating a free market item that robbed state governments from continuing to receive billions down the road. Just saying ... follow the money. Apparently, our government wants people to continue smoking, but not vaping.

I would prefer that as well. Just wasn't expecting it so quick.

If you do that all the existing atomizers are immediately made obsolete.

Provided that I have enough legacy hardware, many rolls of wire, and some cotton or rayon, I'll be good. Looks like I'm going to have to join the DIY juice clan, though. 18650's that fit my flamethrower 5 watt LED flashlights will also fit my mods, so I'm good there, too.

I really do hope that Congress will step in and thwart the FDA by calling this what it is ... a move to ensure that tobacco continues to profit. It's senseless.

Far be it from me to laugh at anyone, but I'm pretty sure my non-rubber-wrapped-or-not-in-a-Faraday-cage mech mods will be fine. Unless it is some super EMP that changes the molecular structure of stainless steel, copper, brass, steel and aluminum, rendering those metals non-conductive.

Besides that, there is a very high probability that if an EMP strikes the USA, the first thing I'm grabbing (after the really important things: my wife, my 1911, and my AR) is going to be a Marlboro and a Bic lighter.

And bear in mind that I'm not saying it couldn't happen - merely that I'll be much more concerned about things like my ammunition and food stockpile than my mechanical mods (which will survive nicely as currently stored in a box in a drawer).

I definitely think mech mods would survive the apocalypse
