How are you all figuring out how many tanks you plan on stockpiling?
I'm guessing 1 tank per 2 years, provided I get in addition to the tank, 2 spare glass sections, a spare o-ring kit, and some extra grub screws. I think it likely for me at least, that the tank will either get broken or lost over the 2 year period. Does this sound a little unrealistic? Maybe, I should plan on 1 tank per year?
What do you think?
I have 4 in my daily rotation. Because I know these last and wear well I bought 6 more of these. I also bought 10 other tanks (5 STM and 5 Lemo's) This gives me 20 tanks. I feel this will last me 5 years for sure at 4 a year. Maybe longer who knows

If you have 1 or 2 of every tank that's ever been released then you have that # times whatever different glass tubes to stockpile nevermind different coils if they're drop in premade style.

I have 7 Crown tanks and they all use the same size glass, orings & coils.
I have 4 Augvape Boreas RTA, same thing
15 or so Steam Crave Aromamizer V1/V2 RTA - same thing

Find the gear you like best if you haven't already and pile THAT up.
I've been selling and trading what I don't like for what I do all along.
I know what I like so that's what I have room for. Only that.
Now's not the time to experiment.

Yeah... Space on the Lifeboat should be reserved in the Order that you like Things.

I have a couple Passthrough somewhere in the back of my Old Vape Drawer.

They Work for the Most Part. But they are kinda like using a Corded Mouse after you have used a Cordless one. And now that Batteries/Mods have pretty much All Day mah amounts, a Passthrough isn't needed so much anymore.

Not sure if it could Handle my .6 Ohm RTA? Might have to dig one out and See if it Does.

I still have a couple of those old 510 passthroughs in my stash. I loved them when I first started vaping:) Haven't used one in close to 5 years. IF memory serves me, I think we were suppose to stay above about 1.8 ohms with our 510 attys. Might have been even higher seeing as I think mine are 5 VT passthroughs.

I remember when 1.5 Ohms was called "LR" for Low Resistance.

    LOL

Yep. When I told that to my grandson he thought I'd lost my mind :lol::lol: Should have seen the expression on his face as he looked through my "old" mods, some of which he really liked but then I explained what each of their max voltage and wattage is and why and he was like "REALLY:shock:" lol.

Like mowgli and the rest, I have been going after things that I like now and balancing that with parts available/ruggedness/simplicity. For example, The Bellus. 4 o-rings, rugged, extra glass available, common screws, rebuildable, love the vape. Also, fairly inexpensive right now. I have multiples (5) and am still using the first for almost a year.

Another thing I am collecting is my favorite mech boxes. Simple. Not much to replace.

Tell that to the people in the State of Utah, Indiana, etc. where it's happening sooner than that.
Utah I view a religious based rulz, Indiana as corruption based rulz.
But those are in less than a week.
And such thing will keep on happening for the next 2-3 years.

    Hi again all. :)

Today I went through and reorganized my hoard. All my glass replacement tubes/o-rings/etc. are in Ziplocks according to make & model. I made sure to label!

Even the tanks that were trendy at one time but I don't use anymore (especially now that I've moved entirely to RTA-style tanks) still have their packaging, replacement glass, RBA decks (where applicable) and extra coils...including some shady Ni.15 coils I always say to save "for a rainy day."

Of course I am not *technically* including those tanks in my mental vapeocalypse hoard inventory, but each tank with its random coils and parts represents no less than one week's worth of vaping (per coil). Glad I held onto some of my older stash and didn't give ALL of it away as my vaping life progressed.

It also feels good to know that even with my satisfactory inventory TODAY that there is more paid for and on the way. I have a variety but not a widespread variety; not so widespread as to make collecting spare parts difficult.

And I say this, really, quite confused and on the fence about what exactly is going to happen; but every time I rationalize that there is likely going to be another two years' worth of access, I think about prices going up. I wish I could find out for sure if WA is going to restrict or ban online access.

I used vapemail boxes, I had several of the same size, labeled each one "Parts for Taifun","Parts for STM" etc and then all tanks, bases etc in each. I have one big bag that has all Orings. Turned an old file cabinet (Horizontal) into my new stockpile cabinet (who needs to save important papers with this on the horizon)

I'm sure they will, expect us to get screwed very soon. I've got a substantial stash so I'm ready, but that doesn't make me happy, makes me damn ....... I nag Patty Murray regularly and I know it's falling on deaf ears, time to replace her is well overdue.

$2.69 Replacement Center Post Insulator for Hobo V3.1 RDA (5-Pack) 5-pack - POM at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping[/URL]

I know that they say they are for a Hobo RDA, but they are Really pretty Generic from Many RDA's/RTA's/RBA's.
    Excellent suggestion...
I'm ordering some replacement PEEK insulators as well. Going to try to replace a plastic clone insulator with one of these. Crossing fingers.:)

My plan is 8 total KFL+V2'S(already have 2, plus 1 that I lost the center pin from:( and will scavenge for parts), 4 total KATO Square mods(have 2 now), and 3 liters of 100mg nic(1 in the freezer already).

I am already practicing using one of the KFL'S in all-steel-tank mode. Been filling with a syringe, and now just need to figure the right needle length to know when 2ml more juice will fit.

My biggest fear now is losing a complete rig while fishing:lol:...

    ETA:
Also going to see if I can trade the Nanos kits that came with the KFL'S I have, as well as a Phantus Mini, neither of which I ever use.

You can get most Kayfun parts from Fasttech. Search your KF model number.

You sound like me. Putting my eggs all in one basket with KFL+V2s (EHPro). I finally tracked down 2 that came with the Nano kits and snagged them- where did you get yours? I have never used KFLs before, but it seemed to be the consensus for best MTL tank.

I have been a dripper for years, on 510 atties. I decided it was time to move on to RBAs, so I settled on a tank (KFL) and a dripper- Origen V2 (clone). I am a little more hesitant about investing in one dripper brand only for some reason. There are just so many that people have raved about, lol. But it did seem to me Origen was very consistently praised. I'm torn between diversifying (if I don't like one, I might like another) or sticking with one (makes dealing with spare parts much easier). Again, I have never used an RTA. I am going strictly by faith on these things.

Other possible clone RTAs for me: Stumpy (pretty much impossible to find tho), Marquis, Quasar. I worked to narrow that list down. Then there's the Origen v3, but I can only find one clone, through FT.

All this stuff, even though it's all old tech by now, is mind boggingly new to me.

All vaping supplies will not disappear overnight. Juice, tanks and mods won't be illegal and won't be confiscated. It will just get very expensive to vape as we are currently accustomed to and some things will be hard to find (tanks, coils, mods), some will be easy to find (VG/PG, cotton, wire) and some things may become impossible to find (NIC base).

Everyone is not going to be forced to smoke or use only BT vaping products. Just be expectd to pay a lot more if you didn't stock up before Aug.
    Lets take a step back.

Big Pharma, big tobbaco, the FDA

    Want vaping destroyed.

    The States wants tax money.

Several States are enacting laws to prohibition online sales.

Prep while yoy can or go back to smoking stinkies.
