Thanks Everyone! I guess quiting isn't a huge hurry like I've made it out to be. I was just disapionted in myself a little. I had not smoked for 12 days and then to smoke?? But I was also very sick with bronchitis and really had no choice. I do have a patch on now and am doing ok. My lungs feel like crap after smoking today.

I have hit my pv a time or 2 with the patch on. I figure if each ananlog has 2-3 mg of nic and I smoke 18 a day that's at least 36 mg a day. If I have on a 21mg patch I have a little leeway. But wouldn't want to do it unless I was really needing it and not more than a couple times.

Just heard Sun. about a woman who put on every patch in the box at once and died. Didn't hear the whole story though. Couldn't believe it.

no need to feel disappointed with yourself. the only reason you went 12 days without a smoke was because you were too ill to even want one! i really think you need to back off a bit. you are being way too hard on yourself and that certainly isn't going to help you to quit. just take your time and see how you feel over a few weeks.
yes, there are many people here who have been able to quit the cigs the very minute they started vaping. and i do take my hat off to those people. that really is an admirable accomplishment. but there are just as many who simply cannot do it. some of us still need a few analogs now and then, and if that's the case.... so be it! this does not make us worse people than those who have quit, and if you look around here.... those quitters are more than understanding and helpful toward those of us who still have a ways to go. there is no competition.

just hang in there. :)

I was on the ecig exclusive for 10+ months. With the startup of my new studio the stress caused me to smoke cigs again. Hard to stay off em when you got rappers blowin smoke in ur face, which sux. I have noticed that I can swear off the cigs for weeks at the time, I could never do that before. I'm still fighting even after all this time. I do notice that I crave my ecig more than real ones which is nice.
