If you like your istick 50 watt, but want something a little smaller, maybe you would like the iStick 30 watt.

Maybe use a variable voltage eGo battery setup? It will be long, but not as bulky as the iStick. I wouldn't store any battery in the car during hot summer weather, as batteries don't like excessive heat. If you wouldn't keep a baby in a hot car, you shouldn't keep a battery there, either.

You might also use something like a Smoktech Gripper. Its a small mechanical mod that uses an 18350 IMR battery for a few hours of use between charges. You'll need a box battery charger to charge these batteries. By default, the Gripper uses a 45mm XL cartomizer to hold the e-liquid, but if you desire to use a clearomizer or cartotank with it, their is an extension available. Smoktech Gripper

Battery Basics for Mods

I recommend using the AW 18350 IMR 800 mah battery in this (can be found at RTD Vapor). Make sure the charger you get for this will charge the smaller 18350 batteries.

Screw that, get a Octo-26650 Box Mod and a MutationX v4 and rock that. - Just kidding -

Depends on what you want. Longevity - the iStick 30W is a good suggestion or a Vaporshark rDNA40 with a good nickel build inside a tank would suffice. You can not only lock your settings on both, but they're pretty small and offer good longevity for what they use for batteries. As far as I know, the iStick 30W uses a build in battery whereas the Vaporshark uses a single 18650 that can be charged and vaped on the go - which offers flexibility as well. If boxes aren't something you want to tote with you - look for a regulated tube. The Eye, Semovar, Provari (just to name a few) are pretty good, set it and forget it, although they're pretty bulky in some people's opinion - but they just work. Battery life on them varies based on set voltage / wattage - the higher the power output the shorter the life. That applies all across the board. I would suggest ego style pens - but based on my opinion and experience - they're more problematic than they are a solution. As the tanks are (for the most part) pains in the ... to maintain, small capacity liquid levels, have a tendency to fail (either through shoddy made coils or how the coil heads are manufactured with holes in the contact pins that allow juice to drain onto the contact area of the battery), and offer lower battery life. So depending on how long you plan on being in the car - from point to destination - will determine what you're looking for.

Oh and if your car has a certain color combination - get a Provari to match it.

Anyone know of of a good inexpensive yet quality travel vape stick I could use in my Mustang? I really don't want to carry my iStick 50w everywhere I go?

I don't want to leave anything in the car. Just wanting something as good as my 50w, yet portable enough for out and about.

You want something inexpensive but just as good....I think you'll be disappointed with any suggestions I could give you.

Thanks for the replys. I have heard about the leaking on the ego pen style, which is why I went with my iStick 50w. Great suggestions. Thanks. There are so many our there and I don't know squat other than then the cheap ego style pens ( stay away). LOL.

Umm, it isn't the battery that leaks, it is what you put on it that may or may not leak....I have two ego-c's full of juice laying on their side for the last month and not a drop has leaked out

Provari sounds nice!
I've been considering it but one problem only... Stays at 30watts and I love sub ohm tanks

30W is 30W regardless of what you sit on it. I would personally grab a Provari again if given the opportunity. Just to say "Hey look, I have a Provari again!" But I'll use just about any device now as long as it works. And for the OP's purpose - he says he uses his tank at 10W - so 30W would be sufficient. You'd be surprised at what wattage I vape on most of my tanks. .5 - .9 Ohms for me is 15 - 30W. Anything below .5 usually mech'd or 40 - 50W if it requires more than 50W - I won't waste battery power for super high wattage output on my regulated devices. Even my genesis is rant @ 20W - and at a resistance of .25 Ohms - the voltage is 2.3V. But enough of my setup. Back to the OP - yeah my suggestion - whatever you see that might work for you - try it.
