The batteries it comes with are unprotected ICR batteries, not IMRs, so I still recommend getting a pair of AW IMRs. They really do make a difference, even in the quality of the vape.

No unfortunately, the 18350s are just a little too fat. They'll slip in until they hit the end of the threads, and won't go in any further. Glad the mod was easy for you!

Ok I guess I can pull the trigger in my batt order from switcher. The mod was super easy used a C cell hotspring from an old flash light also so you can by them from the source for a couple of dollars. Sorry didnt mean to hijack the thread lol.

No worries, it's still EVO-related. I bought a D-cell battery box from Source for about $5, gave me two fat springs to play with and worked just fine. (They didn't have any bare springs, so I had to opt for the box.)
