One coil hotter than the other.

How do you guys get both of the coils on a dual coil almost identical? Mine always has one hotter than the other. Any help?

Each coil has to be the same length of wire and spaced the same way.

How tightly do you space your coils?

Are you using an RBA with 3 posts or just 2?

If you have 3, I usually just loosen or tighten either one of the negative posts's screws. If I have one coil that seems to lag and takes a while to glow, I slowly tighten that coil's negative post, if that makes sense.

Poking the coils about a bit will also usually fix it.
