OK I am about a month an a half into this. It's been an adventure to say the least.

I started off with a cheap analog clone, and quickly went to an ego. Between me and my SO we decided this would be the way to kick analogs. So we bought her an ego tank system, which she loves. It just didn't seem quite right to me. So I kept sifting through set-ups and tried carts, dripping and boge LR cartomizers. We have been ordering bunches of sample sizes of about 60 different flavors, and in varying strength. Also a variety of PG/VG mixes.
36mg seemed to be about right to kill the old Newport cravings for both of us. (With boges, or her ego tank) I however still felt like it was too much filling, and just a basic PITA to deal with a PV.

I kept researching on here, and reading everyone's tips and opinions. Still nothing really worked for me.

I finally decided to give fluxomizer's a try (also got some visions) since one of my problems was the constant fiddling with the boges. So I did the seal cup mod to the fluxomizer, and filled it up. It didn't take any time for me to decide that the fluxomizer's were well worth the money. I was a happy camper, and started to vape away, like I did with the boge's.

In less than 15 minutes with these things, and the aforementioned 36mg juice, I thought I was going to fall out of my chair.

So now I feel like I have to start the juice search over again somewhat. Going from "Can't possibly vape enough" to "OMG I think I am going to die". I realize I probably need to drop my nic level, but good grief this is night and day. I am actually afraid to break out the visions and try them...

36 is high my man. It's really on the extreme end of nic level.

I was a high nic smoker myself and was going to go for 30 or 36 when I started vaping. Doing some research I found too many people complaining of getting sick from those levels so I went with 24. It turned out just fine and I'm still on it but I realize that even 24 is a tad too much nicotine for the heavy nic addict.

I'm slowly building up the courage to move to 18 or 16. It's been 8 months of vaping for me and I'm still paranoid about going back to smoking eventhough I know I never will.

Always remember, it's an addiction, so your mind is playing games with you all the time. You don't need to play along. Give it the minimum dosage it needs to make the craving go away. Vaping 36mg juice all day is borderline dangerous in my opinion.

We were both at 24 (samples that came with the kits). It really didn't do anything for us. Up until today 36 was actually working fairly well.

Either I am going to drop down, or just vape less. Either way, if I am off analogs its all good. Unfortunately the 15 juice samples we received today are all 36mg. I might cut them down with some VG and PGA to lower the nic level. I realize the side effect will be the muted flavor though.

the other thing you could do is get some 24mg nic juice of all the same flavors, and mix the 2 together 50/50, that would give you juice with a nic rating of 30mg. which is still a nice step down from 36mg.

stay on that for a couple weeks and then try going down to the 24mg. mind over matter my friend.

btw, congrats on being free of analogs and finding something that works for you.

that's what i would do with the juice though, that way you're not killing flavor.

I disagree.

I NEEDED 36 to keep me off cigarettes. I've been using it for almost 3 years and I haven't died (or been sick, even)
do what your body needs. If it's too much, you'll feel it. Unmistakably.

Use a lower level when you want to just sit and chain-vape and enjoy the feeling of it. but 36 in the morning and after meals, times you are busy and can't (or don't want to) vape so much is fine.

Enjoy!

I had a similar experience with nic levels. I was a heavy smoker, about two packs a day for most of my smoking career, little over one pack/day until I quit analogs. At first I stuck with 36 mg nic and still had a rough time switching to vaping alone. But after three weeks 36 mg started getting too heavy and I dropped to 30 mg. Have been happily vaping 30 mg for the last couple weeks, and in a couple more may drop to 24 mg.

Just keep at it and you will find that happy medium for you. Congratulations on quitting!

I finally broke out the vision carto today. Wow that is much easier to fill. The only drawback, and it may be the juice in it, is it goes through juice quick. I mean quick. I didn't vape on it any more than I normally did with the boge's or even the fluxomizer, and it probably went through 2 ml in half a day. I was actually checking it for leaks it was going so quick.

I also think its a little large. With the mouthpiece on, it is literally as big as an ego 650 battery. Between the fluxomizer and the vision though, I think I have finally found the hardware I will be using.

Now I just need to zero in on the juice. Too many choices, and I like several so far, but nothing I could call an "all day" vape.

That happens when your equipment is efficient and is producing clouds of vapor.

I'm trying not to go back up but I kinda liked the TH in the 18 any suggestions?

Maybe a few drops of PGA or high proof vodka...
