One month ago today, I smoked my last analog. I had gotten a PV and some juice for Christmas, and I immediately liked it better than I did cigarettes. My brother (who gave me the PV) had done some research online and recommended that I join ECF. I did, and that led me to the Natural State Vapers group here in Arkansas. vaping has already become a hobby for me. I am also enjoying being able to smell things and taste my food, and some of the unpleasant symptoms I had when I first stopped smoking are starting to go away. Thank you to every person who posted on here with the length of time you have been without analogs. Those stories helped me believe that I could quit too. I'm looking forward to continuing on my vaping journey!

Well a big congrats to you Tiffani... and give your brother a hug. I'm glad ECF played a role as well, but it really came down to you. Good move and I am certainly convinced that you'll enjoy and embrace the switch - welcome to the journey!

Congratulations!

I started vaping a week ago and didn't have an analog since. I don't miss the analogs at all. Vaping is so much better! What 'unpleasant symptoms' are you talking about? I haven't had any yet, but maybe that's just because I only stopped using analogs a week ago.

I got some rather painful sores in my mouth at the beginning, but rinsing my mouth out after vaping and some over the counter Orajel type stuff really helped. I also ended up with a case of the "quit zits." My skin is clearing up now even though it still isn't back to normal. Being able to smell and taste more than compensated for it, though.

Excellent success story!

I quit the day the world was supposedly coming to an end on the 21 Dec. 2012, but it was actually a time of change.

Yeah ... sometimes all sorts of strange reactions come with the package. The clouds clear in due time ...

Congratulations - it is definitely a journey. I just hit 2 months this past week. I thought I was going to get away with this being real easy - but my taste buds have gone on strike this week and nothing tastes good. However - I figured since none of my juice tastes good - there was no point in picking up a cigarette - it probably would not have tasted good either. So - a few glassess of wine tonight and I continue vaping - even if I cannot taste it.
