I've had a bottle of Wild Cherrylicious for a while and it's pretty good. Recently in my journey to find an ADV i decided to try more of the OSDIY flavors. After reading ALL the reviews on the website i decided to order Arnold Palmer, Blue Pom, Cacti Cooler, and Baked Cinnamon Roll (this one was for a friend).
Got them in and proceeded to mix them each at 10% flavor. Now, from reading the reviews as well as the description on the site i knew i had to shake the heck out of the Arnold Palmer before using it and i did. Shaked all the Flavors before drawing up in a syringe and mixing into glass bottles. Steeped all 4 flavors in the U.S. cleaner for about 3 hours then tested everything on my RDA.
All the flavors except Arnold Palmer were decent but weak flavored for my tastes (i continued to work on these and they did improve quite a bit!). Then i loaded Arnold Palmer. Oh. My. God. I was blown away by the flavor. My girlfriend who may take a puff of my vape maybe once a month tried it and was blown away. Everything else was ignored and i went on to vape the 30ml bottle in a little over a week.
So, getting close to finishing my first bottle of AP i made 4 more bottles. Same recipe, shook the heck out of the concentrate, same steeping time, same exact process, etc. This time the flavor was extremely lacking, i could barely even sense a hint of lemon. My gf tried it without me telling her i thought it was lacking and she immediately said it tasted very very light. Two other people who tried the first bottle also said the same thing. Now, i'm sure i'm at the point where i'm experiencing vapers fatigue from vaping 30mls of it in about a week but i know something is amiss.
I guess i posted this to get any suggestions or to see if anyone else has experienced the same issue in the past? I won't give up, i will actually be placing an order for 4oz of Arnold Palmer and some of the other flavors this afternoon to give it another shot with a fresh bottle. The first bottle of AP is my holy grail of ejuice, it WILL work out!
P.S. Here's the recipe i used both times...
