Ok, so I started vaping one week ago today, no cigs since, after 25 years. Heres my question..and yes, its probably very strange, but im new! Since i started vaping, My tongue feels weird.. like its been burned or coated in slickness. Doesnt hurt, but feels slimy, a lil numb-like. Im vaping on a halo g6, and Ive struggled to finally find juice i like and can handle for the day. Im currently switching between halos "voodoo" and "malibu" flavors and have been since day 2 or 3. Ive brushed, mouthwashed, etc.. is this normal? Will it go away?

You have vaper's tongue and, yes it's common and normal and, does go away.
Make sure you are drinking extra water (or calorie free flavored water if plain water won't do.) Vaping dehydrates you more than smoking did and, tht seems to make vaper's tongue worse.
It can take quite a few tries to find the 2-4 ADVs (All Day Vapes) you like and do best with but, you'll find them, we all do, or we land with 2-4 main ones we alternate through the day.

Thanks Bluemoods, thats a relief! The only other person I know who vapes is my fiance, and he hasnt had any issue, so i was worried! Glad to hear it goes away! 
Yes tvan, much better than the smoke breath! Gotta clean the car this weekend, just about fell over frm the lingering smell i smelled this week when I would get in. Never noticed it before. So glad to be smoke free and not smell anymore!
Yeah I too get this and was curious. Currently using flavorz by Joe juice I think its 50/50 mix. Going to order some 100% vg stuff this week and see what happened. The higher pg stuff gave me wicked heartburn.
Hey - I learned a trick for the car smell, get a box of fabric sheets, and lay the fabric sheets in your car / door / under seat etc.
Sounds weird but they absorb the smell!

PG has slighty hygroscopic properties - drinking more is sage advice. With the dryness of the tongue, the gunk becomes more concentrated. Couple that with the fact that your taste buds are slowly recovering from decades of smoke/tar bombardment and you taste what anlogs really taste like... you're in best company. As the others said , it'll pass...

I currently am suffering from the dreaded vapors tongue, day 3 now. How long does this last??? It's driving me crazy. Just bought some 10ml bottles of Menthol, Frost Bite and Cinnamon Red Hots from the local gas station and I can taste those for the moment, but I want my ADV Vanilla Caramel back badly.

Yep... I had this happen too. Happy to say it does go away. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
Man this sucks. My vapers tongue has been going strong for a while now. But for me it isn't just that I can't taste the vapor I can't taste much of anything either. Also my tongue feels burnt. At first it was just the tip of my tongue but now it has spread. I am curious if switching to 100% vg will even help cause I have drastically reduced my vaping as well. No improvement yet
On the Charcoal thing: Just don't pass gas and light a match at the same time
