Sup vapers!

I am approaching my first annual checkpoint of smokelessness and I really want to celebrate! I am at a crossroads with gear and I am reaching out for some opinions. Here is what Ive been rocking for a while now.

All dual coil builds - .22 ohm 7 wrap 24ga 1/16 diameter. tugboat v2 (huge 510), mutation x, plume 1.2 and a patriot (all clone except tugboat). I've been looking for a nice and tiny legit mech, such as the praxis, shorty, or nanos, but I don't think the tugboat v2 sits flush on any of em. A buddy of mine thinks I should go boxmod.

I am pretty satisfied with my setups, but as we can all see, the devices coming out these days really makes you think about what else is out there. I really just want a setup that puts an end to the gear chase, even though this maybe a myyyyyyyytttthhhhhhh.

Mechs - should I stay or should I go???

I think I've got your question sorted out. I love my regulated high wattage mod, and a lot of mech users are finding them to be better than they expected. If it's time to reward yourself, I think it's the perfect time to try one out and see if you like it. If you don't, it's an easy sale in the classies and you've still got your beloved mechs. If you love it, then you got exactly the treat you're looking for. If they've got you curious, I say go for it. :vapor:

Thanks Matt! I'm excited to give a box mod a try. Now, which one to choose....

Yea about the tugboat, it's a decent atty, but the long 510 pin limits the compatibility of the device. Every mod maker in question has warned against using it on a small hybrid style mech.

The mod is made for use with the tugboat.

I agree with a few of the other posters. Time to step up to a good regulated mod and forget about the voltage drop and voltage sag issues of a mech. With a dual 18650 device like the Sigelei 100watt Plus or the IPV3 there is no more of those issues. Plus every drag is just like a freshly charged battery until the charge is gone.

Don't get me wrong, I have quite a few mechs and find them aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but they really are last years tech in regards to performance.
