I’ve written my 1 year quit post in the General E-Smoking Discussion, and thought I would post some more vendor-specific thoughts here.

First, I’d like to thank Imagine and S_Steve for your work here; your presence on this forum may occasionally seem thankless, as we humans seldom have time to post when everything is A-OK, but will always take the time to ask questions/resolve issues. You are a large part of the reason I have now been a customer for 1 year.

And thank you, Smokeless Image, for your ever-advancing line-up of products; you seem to have magically grown as my vaping experience has.

My first batteries (3: main, back-up, back-up for the back-up) were 65mm sealed Volt automatics, used with refillable cartomizers. I love these things, especially when discretion is appropriate. I used these exclusively for 4 months; frequent charging wasn’t a problem, since my work situation allows me to charge at will. They lived a bit longer than I expected, so I have no complaints, have re-ordered, and would have continued with these exclusively if I hadn’t been lured by the control offered by the 78mm manuals.

Mini-clearomizers that are tank-cracker-resistant became available a few months later, and it was said that condensation in the drip tips could be minimized by letting off the button on the manuals a moment before ending the draw. The longer-lasting charge on the 78mm Volt manuals are a perfect match for the mini-clearo capacity as well, so I HAD to “get me some”. These became the all-day setups, with the little guys/cartos for evenings.

By the way, in 8 months of heavy use, I have yet to crack/melt/fog a Volt mini-clearo with any of the e-liquids on the tank-cracker list that I have ordered (a bunch of citruses, Black Licorice, Clove, Green Apple). I have also had tank-crackers sitting in clearos with dead coils (operator error) for 7 months to see if anything would happen over time, but they are still clear and solid. I have NOT tried the infamous Amaretto, Cinnamon Red Hot, Cola or Cherry, since those flavors don’t interest me. Yet.

Also, I have been using the little silicone cartomizer end covers (without plug) from used-up cartomizers as drip tip covers for the mini-clearos, and cutting the plugs out of the others, leaving a little hole in the center to protect the ends of the automatic Volts without activating the “draw” with changes in pressure. The manual Volts get covers with holes cut out of the sides to accommodate the button. This keeps ends protected and clean in their travels.

Anyhoo, 7 months after the 78mm Volts joined my arsenal, variable voltage “Spinner” batteries appeared on the site (or maybe I just noticed them). Some e-liquids vape hotter than others, and I had wondered if lower voltage would help with this, so I ordered one. Yes, the hot-vaping liquids are much happier with the voltage dialed down just a bit. And holy battery life, Batman! As a bonus, it turns out that coils that are starting to die will work a bit longer with (slightly) higher voltage! I got 2 more, and these are now my all-day workhorses, with the 78mm manuals for “out and about” and the 65mm autos for discreet vaping.

I might get bigger clearos for these Spinners, someday, but right now, I DO like changing flavors every ml (mini-clearo capacity), so I’ll probably wait for glassomizers with replaceable heads to magically appear on the site, before I increase capacity (hint, hint!).

There are many people who think that cig-alikes are primarily favored by beginners. If this is true, then rest assured that at 1 year, this “beginner” still loves all of her SI equipment, and will love it until it has all been used into obsolescence.

And then I’ll buy some more. From Smokeless Image.

I started on the 78 automatics graduated to the X2 auto and now I am going for the X2 and Spinner manual ANNDDDD.... the MVP 2 all in on whack! I am as giddy as a kid in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory! (admit it you wanted to go too!)

Seriously though, Congrats on the one year! Had mine a couple of mths ago. It feels fantastic doesn't it?
